ESCO has been a full-service Elevator contractor based in Torrington, CT and service the areas of MA, RI, NY and CT for some 24 years later, and growing steadily to 25 employees. As of 2024, ESCO were acquired by Cibes Lift Group. Cibes is a Swedish lift manufacturer with international reach, creating the most beautiful home lifts the industry has to offer. Headquartered in Gävle, Sweden, Cibes Lift Group is a leading manufacturer of space-saving, modular Vertical Platform Lifts (VPL) known for Swedish quality and design. Elevator Service installed my home elevator ten years ago. I was impressed from the beginning. I was purchasing a pneumatic elevator, which was fairly new to market at that time, and the CEO of Elevator Service accompanied me to see the elevator at a special facility to ensure I was getting top quality customer care. I was very impressed the CEO took the time to personally see my house and then meet me at the warehouse. He was personally ensuring a new product line would be rolled out seamlessly into his existing company. He spent the time with me and I was just a potential client. This is the level of detail Elevator Service gives to its customers. During the past ten years my interactions with the company for routine annual maintenance have always been wonderful. They are friendly, professional, kind, and always go above and beyond. I cannot speak more highly of this company and its employees. It stems from the top down with the dedication of the CEO to his customer’s. Every employee that I have encountered embodies the same work ethic. It is always a pleasure to speak to them. During regular maintenance visits they are respectful of your house. And they are very nice to my dog. They know the elevator business and are able to answer questions with deep knowledge. If you are thinking of an elevator for your home this is the company to use Thank you for ten years of great service.

The two mechanics who just installed our elevator are extremely competent, worked amazingly long hours, cleaned up after themselves every evening, and answered all our questions with both patience and good humor. Rating: A+
