My Elephone S8 still works after 2 years
I have purchased Elephone S8 November 2018 and it's still working until now. I can honestly say it is a good quality phone. I use it for my travel photos and the camera is *sometimes* slow but it does take good and most of the time great photos. My only other complain is that battery heats up quite fast when gaming or streaming online.
All is fine until you have a problem…
All is fine until you have a problem with your phone. My 3 month old E10 phone camera stopped working and their "support" refuse to help or even honour their much boasted about one year warranty. I got so fed up I told them I would be leaving negative reviews and the email response I got was a sarcastic "oh no". That response alone will tell you all you need to know about this companys attitude to the people who pay their wages! If you register your new device on their website it will magically disappear from your online account as if you never bought it. Then you have to try and prove your purchase. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They will happily take your money and then laugh at you as you look for help.
China trash for sale.
F*** Elephone
I ordered a phone in April and 3 months later it finally arrived. I was very excited until I open the box and pressed the power button and nothing happened. they have been responding to my emails but they've been telling me to go to a repair shop and spend more money to have it fixed or to send it back to them and pay my shipping, and if I send them a receipt MAYBE they'll compensate me. This is utterly ridiculous. I've never dealt with such horrible customer service and lack of responsibility by a company that is literally making millions of dollars off of people by selling them faulty merchandise.
Screen protector broke in 2 days
No Stars, Terrible experience. A tempered glass screen protector for my mobile broke after 2 days. I didn't drop it and am always super careful with my phone. It shattered on the edge and I cut myself on the shards of glass coming off it. They wouldn't give me a refund or change the protector.
Worst company ever!
Worst company ever!
I bought Elephone S7 3G 1 year ago. My first experience to the phone is: "Oh, this phone looks great, and the Android 6.0 on this phone is amazing!" but then everthing changed. It's started, when after a month, I didn't get the updates. I contacted the support, and they said, I'm using a very old Firmware. (REALLY?? I bought it with an old Firmware??) Ok, then I updated it sucessfully to Android 7.1.1. After this, my button stopped working, and I can't use the Task manager and also I can't open the Recovery menu. (Still not working after a year) After that my Android is crashing sometimes. (Display crash) I contacted the support on 2017. Jan. and they said, that they release a fix shortly. (Still nothing after a year) Some weeks ago, I wanted to go back to Android 6.0 to get rid of the crashes. On the official forum site I can't find any working Android version for 3G!!! (Yes, on the official forum site) From a website I downloaded an old 6.0 Android version. Also I need to factory reset that one, because on the first install, it can't detect my SIM Card. And now on this day when I wanted to use my phone the touch screen not worked. I tried to reinstall the Android... Still nothing. It seems my phone is now broke, and I can't use it anymore. (Thank you Elephone)
Elephone U pro warranty fraud
I bought Elephone U pro from Elephone store in Mar 2018. After 5 months use, it started having purple-black patch on the bottom right corner and gradually increased in size. Later-on the whole display became blurry and almost unusable. After contacting support, I sent my Elephone U pro to China for claiming the warranty or getting it fixed as per their instruction (emails evidence available). However since then, I am not getting any response. I have sent so many follow up emails to them but no response at all. I am wondering if Elephone is a legitimate company or fraud? Please give me any suggestions of what to do? Below is the information of my purchase and shipping back:

AVOID ELEPHONE AND THEIR SH** PHONES
The phone with the specification they made should work wothout a glich but in reality it is slow and non responsive, it restarts on its own couple of times each day, the screen can go completely black from time to time, it ia loosing the volume of the ringtone on its own, it doesnt have the non responsive screen while on call and I could go more and more for it. I bought s8 and i have it for 6 months now

Elephone sold me the phone and it didn't work they told me to fix it here in Canada and I told them I wanted to ship it back. They gave me the wrong address and I received the phone back 3 months later and was out money for the shipping. I tried to contact them through every outlet imaginable and they refuse to respond. Don't do business with this company.

S7 - The Good, The Bad and the Very, Very Ugly
THE GOOD
I was tempted to buy the S7 as it was a nicely designed Galaxy S7 clone with curved screen and very punchy specs. I chose the blue one and, when it arrived in January 2017, it *looked* very nice.
THE BAD
Right away I could see the S7 had two issues. Firstly Google Pay wouldn't work on it and secondly the fingerprint scan was next to useless. No matter how many times you scanned your fingerprint in initially, it was never recognised after.
Two months into ownership the phone started to mysteriously duplicate contacts until it got to the point where each contact was duplicated well over a dozen times and Contacts stopped opening. I had to do a factory reset to fix that.
THE VERY, VERY UGLY
In June, 5 months into ownership, both sims on this dual-sim model suddenly stopped being recognised by the phone one day. Literally one minute I had 2 O2 sims in and they both had network coverage (4G most f the time) and the next minute there was nothing. I firstly checked the sims in an iPhone to see if they had an issue - but the iPhone recognised them instantly and returned 4G coverage. Next I checked APN settings on the S7, but that was all fine. I checked that the IMEI was still valid - it was. I tried to manually connect to a network - couldn't connect. Sim status showed 'out of service'.
At this point I headed to the Elephone site and found their support forum which, to my horror, was crammed full of people with similar problems on their S7 and P9000 models and there wasn't a single reply from Elephone to the issues. Their site said to contact the official reseller you bought the phone from which, in my case, was CooliCool. Now bearing in mind that this phone has only just turned 6 months old and is well within Warranty, ALL I am getting from the reseller is repeated requests to supply information I've already supplied - they have been sent screenshots of APN settings, sim status, IMEI number etc . They have been sent videos of me swapping a sim from the dead S7 into an iPhone where it's seen coming to life.....yet they continue to ask if the sims may be broken or my network down or whether I've tried in different phones. At no point have they given ANY information for me to return the phone for a refund or replacement, despite me stating very clearly that it's under Warranty and that I want a refund or repair.
Quite simply Elephone and its resellers are not interested in after-sales and they keep pumping out new handset models without fixing the glaring problems with previous models. The Warranty offered is completely worthless as they seem to refuse to honour them, and as Elephone and its resellers are based in China and Hong Kong you can't get anywhere. I've now opened a case via Paypal in the hope I'll get somewhere via that route...but I'm not holding my breath.
I cannot advise staying away from Elephone strongly enough - they are a complete joke
UPDATE - I have now been told that I cannot return the phone for repair as they are in China and I'm in Europe (they are quite happy to sell these phones in Europe though!). All they will offer is 15$ towards getting it repaired myself (the phone cost £160 and is now unusable as a phone) with the caveat that if I do that the Warranty is void. AVOID AVOID AVOID - these people use their location to trample over all trading standards legislation and clearly are not interested in honouring Warranties
Buying direct from elephone.hk is …
Buying direct from Elephone.hk is risky & recommend not to try & go for reliable online sellers, because you will not get an answer from customer car if on your problems. As I have orders place, but unfortunately faced several problems. I have ordered a promotional order #43709, but received the package broken with missing one item, then Elephone.hk asked me to accept and they will resend the Earphone, but still nor cash refund or the replacement of earphone. its almost 4 months. there after no proper reply from the customer care on this
So I alert yo to aware of such situation & avoid unnecessary risk
B. Regards
the service of support at elephone.hk or aftersales at elephone.hk are not helpful or will not get a right reply
