Dont follow law of the warranty

I have a cooking hob still on warranty.
After several visits of their specialist and no success o suggested they change it for a new one. He sais that Zanussi will not change. So he changed some piece. After that it stopped working altogether.
Now i am insisting on change ( customer defence law reads that they have 30 days to resolve), and they want to continue replacing parts.
Yesterday i called them and a man rudely told me to wait for assistance and hung up despite i was still talking.
I am with a broken hob now for 40 days

Electrolux repair package to be avoided at all costs

In August we had a problem with an AEG Electrolux fridge freezer purchased in 2020. The filter needed changed and the ice maker required repair. My wife contacted AEG.

They explained that now there was a maintenance package where we paid €179 and regardless of cost the repair was covered. This might mean the actual cost was more or perhaps less but regardless the €179 was payable. Fair enough.

Before we made payment we had 3 separate calls to AEG, our issue was clearly explained, and the model number of the Fridge was given. My wife was told as the unit was only 4 years old spare parts were available. The fact that the filter replacement and ice maker repair were part of the scope were confirmed by confirmation emails from AEG.

To our utter dismay after the technician’s visit my wife was informed by AEG that the filter was a consumable and was not covered; furthermore, the spare part for the ice maker was no longer available and we would therefore forfeit the €179! My Portuguese wife entered into extensive exchanges with AEG in Portugal, but the only remedy offered was that we could purchase a new Fridge/Freezer at a 30% discount. They surely are joking!

AEG were told the fridge model number before the order was placed and would therefore know whether spares were available or not.

Electrolux espouse corporate values of customer care, ethical behaviour and integrity. The behaviour demonstrated by Electrolux Portugal in this instance totally failed to meet these values.
