What went wrong with the delivery?
My first time using electrical direct was excellent, but this time wasn’t so good. I had a next day delivery booked and therefore told my customer I would carry out a consumer unit charge. About 10 minutes before my delivery time I received a text saying due to unforeseen circumstances my delivery would not now be made and it would be the following day. This caused some issues after arranging with my customer and DNO to have main fuse removed.
That evening I loaded something in the back of my van and found part of my delivery had been left at the back of my van. If I hadn’t loaded my van I would have drive away not knowing it was there.
I then had to wait in until the following day until the second part my parcel arrived. Also my customer had to wait for another week to get the main fuse removed so delayed their consumer unit change.
It may not be the fault of electrical direct, it could well be the courier but still disappointing when my first time using electrical direct was excellent and the knock on affect of not getting materials on time can cause a major headache for my business and customers too.
