He didn't turn up for the first appointment. On the second appointment he sent his apprentice who clearly didn't know what he was talking about and wasn't interested in listening to the investigations I had already done. Advised I needed a new PCB for my boiler but had no interested in trying the new PCB that I already had. (PSB wasn't the issue if he had listened to what I had already investigated). Then proceeded to try and sell me a new boiler.
Charged a full call out fee for 10 minutes where clearly all he was interested in doing was selling me a new boiler.
I won't be using these guys again. Got someone else out who fixed my boiler in about 30 mins.

Elliott is a rarity -- he provided excellent customer care via both telephone and WhatsApp messages, he kept me up-to-date on my appointment and arrived on-time.

He provided a quote to work on my Worcester Greenstar Highflow 440 gas boiler that was fair and reasonable, the quote addressed my specific repair needs and didn't contain any unexpected extra work.

I strongly recommend you consider this company for your gas boiler repair needs, I was very impressed!

Required new gas boiler to replace 23 year old boiler. Quote acceptable. They did not try and `upsell` what was required. Work done in one day. Polite and clean.
10 year service plan competitive price.

We needed to have our old boiler replaced as was over 15 years old, we made a few enquiries one of which was to Elliott at E J Wheldon. We arranged a for them to come out and give us a quote, they were punctual and polite from the offset. They made their recommendations, but the final choice was ours. We decided to accept their quote which was very reasonable. The installation date was 29/092022 again they were punctual and worked continuously throughout the day only stopping when waiting for a delivery. The installation is very neat as the boiler was moved from the main Kitchen into the airing cupboard. Would highly recommend Elliott and his team 100%

Top class service top class operating can’t fault anything

Elliott knew exactly what he was on about, cut to the chase and delivered exactly what he said he would. I had not felt comfortable with two other quotes (one being British Gas) who took no time to consider options and quoted a stock price, based on what they thought they could get away with. Elliott looked at my system, suggested I 'might' have an issue with the size of Gas Supply pipes, but explained what was needed IF that were the case. I had best and worst-case scenarios and I ended up with a best case scenario. Pipes did not need upgrade and boiler is quiet, efficient and costs less to run.

I have recommended Elliott to others and would certainly use him again.

Genuine 5 stars, very impressed and very grateful. Having limped along with a very old system boiler for a decade or so, I was well aware when it finally croaked I’d need to bite the bullet for a big investment, but had been told I would likely need all new pipework as well, which would turn a big job into a huge job. Elliott was swift, confident and reassuring - and whilst the new boiler had to be moved to a new location, Elliott confirmed new pipework wasn’t required, which significantly reduced the scale and scope of the task. Elliott and his team worked hard and efficiently on the job, provided all the necessary peace of mind, and ensured all documentation, testing and warranties were in place. From something that had been a fear and concern for at least a decade, I wish I’d been in touch with Elliott sooner as I’m delighted with the solution, the process and the experience overall.

Elliott came to quote for a new boiler, but was able to check that it wasn't the pump first. Having discovered it was the pump we then discovered it was also that the boiler needed replacing too. He has booked in quickly to install a new boiler next week. So far great service.

I had a new combi boiler installed on Monday. Extremely quick, efficient and friendly service from this well established firm. Elliott and his engineer took care to make sure I understood the controls, tidied all the debris away and make themselves available for any questions and after-care. Great service at a competitive price.

Had EJWheldon fit a new boiler last summer. Top rate service, from initial visit to final installation- everything faultless and at a super competitive price. So impressed with him we got him back to fit all new radiators which he has just done. Again super job. Now I am of a generation that would put me in the bracket of an old fart. So I have expectations about punctuality, reliability and keeping the customer informed. As well as cleaning up and being prepared to follow up after the job. Fear not all these qualities are included in their work ethic. Top marks for jobs well done. Many thanks.

Right from the off Elliott was totally professional, not pushy at all not most salesman when he came to do us a quote.

Elliot arrived at quote stage and took time to listen to my needs and evaluate, he was extremely knowledgeable on a whole range of boiler systems. He explained the boilers and types and recommended a Valiant one which we later went ahead on. He deals with all boiler types so a 10 year warrantee was included in any boiler he fitted. He left me with a booklet which gave me information about his work and services he provides when fitting a boiler and this was very professional too.

Some plumbers came and offered quotes without even seeing the job and some were just trying to sell the boiler they knew (or were affiliated to) and make out that their boiler was the best for me. My friend “google” told me different, some of the things they said were not true so I was pleased to find Elliot very approachable, professional, and polite. What he said was all true and he didn’t try to bend it either which is what I liked. He also recommended things to suit you and not his pocket/commission etc.

We also had to have a new gas supply from the front of the house to the boiler and Eight new radiators replaced at the same time It was estimated a two day job.

On the fitting day he arrived promptly with Dillon & James (both excellent workers might I say!). They worked tirelessly for some 13+ hours and finished the job in one day.

His work was clean, efficient, to a high standard and he explained what he was doing all the way so you were always in the loop. We had a few snagging problems which he came back and finished on a later date. He attitude, professionalism and team are credit to him. He was well priced and very enthusiastic!

His work was also guaranteed for 5 years and this along with the Boiler warrantee of 10 years ensured peace of mind.

I would not hesitate to recommend E J Wheldon Plumbing & Heating to anyone out there who is looking for a competitively priced service backed with excellent after sales and an honest person like Elliot behind it !

Fantastic from start to finish. Elliott arrived the same day for a quote. His quoting process is very clear and easy to follow using his printed booklets. He talked me through some options and gave me his honest opinion. Elliott and James worked tirelessly and were done in a day. Elliott then came back the next day to check all was ok. Elliott is very enthusiastic in his work and easy to talk to. Even my four year old liked him and still asks after him! Elliott’s quote was the first. I didn’t both getting any others as I was more than happy. Professional, friendly and well priced.
