Our local guide Mohamed was incredible. He had such a rich and profound passion for both ancient and modern Egyptian history that made the trip so engaging. plus he was very funny and very energetic 😊.

Egypt Encompassed does a great job of adapting and customizing your trip to best meet the interests and desired pace of their guests. As they got to know us they made great suggestions to modify the order we visited historical sites, and the best time to visit to avoid the worst of the crowds. Their knowledge and passion for Egypt, and learning about the country, its culture, and its history from an Egyptian was key to the depth and richness of my trip.

Egypt Encompassed is the go to place for personalised travel in Egypt. Everything is exceptionally well organised. Good hotels, friendly drivers, everything you need taken care of. As a solo female traveller joining a group I always felt safe which is very important to me.
Mohamed is a brilliant tour guide with endless knowledge and enthusiasm for Egyptology as well as a great sense of humour. Highly recommended.

Just such an amazing team! Mohamed is not only a knowledgeable expert in this field but such a lovely person inside and out. I don’t think any of us asked a question he couldn’t answer in depth. Beyond that you’ll find him joking around with the group and really bringing everyone together while you’re in his company. The trip logistics also went smoothly, no stress moving from city to city checking in and generally walking about. Make sure to pick your guides brain for tips on where to eat - you’ll certainly be rewarded! I will never forget my time in Egypt 😄

My wife and I traveled with Egypt Encompassed in the spring and had a wonderful experience. We had the opportunity to travel all across the country, including Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan, and we saw incredible sites covering the span of Egyptian history. Our guide, Mohamed, was absolutely incredible with his vast knowledge of Egyptian history as an Egyptologist, and he is one of the funniest and kindest people that I have ever met. The trip was well organized, the accommodations were outstanding, and everything was planned with great attention to detail. I highly recommend booking with Egypt Encompassed for any trip to Egypt!

Egypt Encompassed is fantastic. Mohamed was a wonderful tour guide with exceptional knowledge and perfect English. He was willing to go to sites early when they opened before all of the other groups got there...nothing better than having the pyramids all to yourself or the Valley of the Kings without the crowds. After our tour, I have have recommended Mohamed to others on multiple occasions. Egypt Encompassed will give you the best top-rated tour.

We have been on many holidays and been on many organised tours and I have to say that our Tour Guide went over and beyond of what I’ve often experienced from a tour guide. He was amazing. We took our disabled son with us which is always hard going but he was included in absolutely everything. Our tour guide was so informative and I was in awe just listening to his vast knowledge of Egypt and it’s amazing history. Could not recommend this company more highly.

Our trip to Egypt was amazing and it was due to the attention, care and expert nature in which Mohamed looked after us.
Not only did Mohamed ensure we were looked after he would above and beyond for us, and everyone in the group throughout the trip. When he learnt I loved the markets, instead of resting or having some down time to himself before dinner he took us to a market nearby and translated for me and shared some history of the area for us. When he learnt that my partner loved reading and they connected over academic texts, Mo took my partner through the gift shop and pointed out some books that were well-researched on particular topics and gave him suggestions for others that weren't available.
Mo went above and beyond to learn about us and included so many thoughtful moments that were really special to us and are some of our favourite memories from Egypt. Thank you Mo

My Egypt Encompassed tour around Egypt was more than I could’ve imagined. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - he continuously went out of his way to make the trip special for all of us in the group. Our guide reached out prior to the tour commencing to check-in with us and communication was always a standout. We felt very safe and well looked after. Having to only pack a bag and leave the whole itinerary up to Egypt Encompassed was an effortless dream. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the tour and will definitely be back to such a beautiful part of the world.

His knowledge, passion, and pride for Egypt shone through every day as he bought this beautiful country to life. He taught us what to do at the Cairo Museum (take up the space) and what not to do at the Temples (touch and sleep), and his stories both captivated and entertained us.

Every aspect of our 14day package tour flowed seamlessly yet at the drop of a hat we were able to make adjustments. We even visited places that weren’t on our itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble we just had to ask. From taxis to shopping and eating out, everything we needed or wanted was organised for us by our guide Mohamed.

He also used his many years of experience in the tourism industry to make sure we arrived at many of the sights either before or with minimal crowds,this made our experience even more special. We wouldn’t have seen or done as much as we did if we hadn’t relied on Mohamed’s advice.

A brilliant tour that covered all the best of Egypt. We had a great time, especially floating down the Nile.

Trip of a lifetime , made even more special by our expert guide Mohamand. Specialised schedules that allowed us time at explore and beat the usual tourist crush. We learnt so much about history and had a giggle along the way. Every aspect of this experience was top class, safe and unique.

Mohamed was a wonderful tour guide offering extensive knowledge about his countries rich history and the many places we visited. Our group ranged from 20 - 60 year olds and he was easily able to connect with everyone in it, I’m sure each of us walked away from our Egypt experience feeling more enriched.

Mohamed took special care to ensure everyone got the experience they were looking for while maintaining overall balance of the group votes on what routes / sites we would visit. Highly recommend for solo, couple or group travels, his expertise in Egyptian history is mind blowing as he’s dedicated his life to it.

A very well organised company. Itineraries were followed promptly and we would always touch base the night before with the plans for the next day. If time allowed, we were also given the opportunity for extra time or activity, if the group voted unanimously.
Even something as minor, for some, as dietary restrictions was taken into consideration for us so everyone could be happy with a meal together.
I’m not sure you will ever get a better tour guide than Mohamed! Ask him any question about Egypt and he knows the answer. It made for a very very informative and culturally rich tour. I cannot recommend enough.
