The variety of tours was a plus……

The variety of tours was a plus… historical, archeological, indigenous, fun, new experiences ( funicular, cable car, war museum artifacts), creative ( Graffiti cafe); lazar tag, RCMP Ride, enough free time; opportunities for students to swim and rest knowing security was on the job!
The included dinner meals were not appreciated by the students ; our group leader should have been made aware that we could have opted for a tour package where students could but their own meals. Adult chaperones found the dinner meals to be a variety and generous.
The final details of getting to the airport and the very early morning flight caused a lot of stress before our departure for the tour. It didn’t seem like EF Tours realized we had a 2 hour drive to the closest airport.

Mostly Positive

All around well done.
Feed back from my daughter was positive but she did feel kind of "thrown into the water" the first day and was shocked how they were sent out to explore on their own and given a time to be back at the meeting spot.
I found this may have been a bit much for some being in a strange country as well as maybe a bit unsafe.
I can see this happening ss the trip progressed and the kids were feeling a bit more comfortable there.
Other than this It was a great expirience.

Fantastic!!! Thank you EF Tours Canada!!!!!!!!!!!

We signed up our 15 year old boy for a grade 11 environmental science summer course. EF Tours Canada worked closely with the lead teacher to provide an astonishing study tour to Costa Rica to complement and support the course content. It was exceedingly well conceived and organized. The accommodation and daily activities were beyond wonderful. The cost was exceedingly reasonable.

In addition, EF Tours Canada assigned a staff member to the study tour who was always available to help out and answer and questions students and families had about the air flight and travel component. This is unlike many other study tour companies, so we discovered.too often they leave you hanging.

Can't say enough about our teen's experience! He said it was life changing!! Fantastic!! Thank you EF Tours!!!!

Sylvia----A++++

I have travelled a lot and this experience was perfect for my daughter, her classmates and the group we travelled with. We had the opportunity to get a taste of each destination and really become immersed in the culture and history, which I really enjoyed. It also helps immensely to have such an incredible tour guide. Not only did we as the parents love Sylvia, but the kid did too. What struck me when we were saying our farewells was that every single student gave her a hug good-bye. She was a gem. She is incredibly passionate and brings such good energy and genuine kindness to the work she does. She went above and beyond to make this trip memorable for all of us. I think this trip could have looked a lot different if it wasn't for her.

Best Educational Experience

It was our school’s first trip to Europe and we were a bit nervous. However, our tour guide Roffy, put us at ease and brought so much wonderful energy.
It was a great introduction to 3 countries and life changing for so many of our students. It sparked a love of travel and exploration while learning. If you have any hesitations - just book the trip - you won’t regret!

Great experience for my daughter

Great experience for my daughter. She felt safe the whole time and yet felt she could be independent and enjoy each location they visited. The host/guide, Rodrigo was incredible! Fun and informative. She had the best trip!

Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris

Our tour guide, Satyen, was incredible. He was knowledgable, helpful, funny, and caring. Our sites that we visited were great, the hotels were amazing, and the food was decent too.
I would highly recommend this trip to others.

Great tour guide

Great tour guide, really knew his stuff ! Kyle Clark, our group leader was fantastic. Kirsten Nett (another leader) was fabulous.
Really enjoyed the first two hotels

The last hotel was in great need of upgrades, shower had a lot of mould in it, two out of the three nights I had to have a cold shower because there was no hot water, the door came off when I tried to shut it. I know the hotels are usually booked outside of the city, but this one seemed to be quite far out and we spent a lot of time on the bus just getting out to the hotel.
The main reason that I did not give you a five star review is because the group that we were paired with that came from New Jersey in the United States was a horrible match with our rural Canadian kids. Maybe there could be some type of way to match the groups better. Those children were very ignorant, rude, and downright unpleasant to our kids. One of the mothers in the group tore a strip of my boy because she didn’t like the saying on his shirt ( there wasn’t nothing on the shirt was was rude). We had a great trip other than having to be on the trip with that group. Their leader was extremely rude and ignorant to her own kids on the trip, if she treated my kids the way she treated those kids, I would say she is unfit as a leader.
