I was excited to try the app so I signed up but once I said yes and chose my payment method, I was inundated with what felt like a never-ending series of ads trying to upsell me on all sorts of add-on... See more

If l could give this company no stars that would be great. They have taken £50 out of my account without my authorisation. I don't have ADHA. Ive been back and forth with emails to try and get my money back, their response was we don't have your email on their account it wasn't until l showed them 2 payments from PayPal that l got a message to say we will not refund you. Who can companies get away with this ?
I am going to pursue this. With all agencies. I havnt even used them only a simple test. So please be aware. And stay away or be ripped off!

NO NO NO NO NO DONT SIGN UP, EVEN for a short subscription- they hide in their very small print, that it is Auto-Renewal at A MUCH MUCH HIGHER PRICE & then dont give you your money back. They prey on their customers vulnerability- they are totally immoral & what they offer simply isn't any good!!

Nora’s very prompt response, understanding and assistance when I had to cancel. Very little is made easy these days, so it is much appreciated.

The consultant was most helpful & very prompt with her reply to me. Her name was Nora and she was very efficient & cancelled my contract instantly. Could not have asked for a more helpful and polite lady. Thank you again Nora.!

High.diet 4-week subscription renewal. This is an app I subscribed to for US$21.18.
The next month I was charged US$105.95. This was a completely unexpected charge. I have asked to cancel and get a refund but a junior service person has told me I can't have a refund even though it is now cancelled.
DON'T GET CAUGHT by this company! What a rip-off.
The High.diet app is not worth anything. You will be charged for an app that only has some recipes and pay a fortune for it.

The representative I dealt with (Nora A.) is great! It was literally less than five minutes from the time I sent my email to the Help Desk to receiving Nora's response. The matter I had emailed about was addressed immediately.

Easy to cancel my subscription due to financial issues - Nora was efficient and it was cancelled with ease. Will return once I am more financially stable

I became confused when my credit card declined a payment to you that I thought had been canceled…Nora Abot was not only apologetic about the charge, but reassured me that my subscription had been canceled and no charges would be forthcoming.
She is the kind of employee that every business should have. Thank you, Nora!

This is some sort of scam app. I don't know what it is, because it's not something I've ever had. Yet I just discovered two PayPal charges adding up to over €100 in February and May for a subscription of some sort. I don't know how they got hold of my PayPal info. I only know the app exists because I just discovered charges on my account for it, and had to go hunting to find out what it was!

This company is not clear in its subscription. I singned up to a trial for £15 and then noticed £79 leaving my account. No email to notify me that this has gone up or will be taken. It is not good enough to respond to everyone making the same co.plaint that the detail is somewhere in the small print.reimburse people and show that you truly believe in excellent customer service. Effecto fall way below the standard I would expect.

I purchased a 3 month plan. I did not sign up for a trial with an obvious subscription after said trial ends. I bought a 3 month plan, PERIOD. At the time of sign up there was no indication of a recurring subscription. 3 months later I'm charged for twice the amount. I never used the app past the first day. Ok that's on me, but changing their terms and then blaming customers is messed up. I never agreed to a subscription I agreed to 3 months and that's it. It seems like there are a lot of other people who have experienced a similar event and when the Effecto team responds it's the same generic response that they are working on making their terms more clear. So they've already admitted that their terms aren't clear. Also, in the app there is nowhere to see that you have an active subscription that needs to be canceled. They say that you can cancel through the help center, but how do you know you need help if you don't actually know that you have a subscription because it doesn't tell you that you have an active subscription? So I put a help ticket in and they told me they canceled my subscription but they cannot refund me. I keep explaining this situation and they keep giving me the same generic response. Oh and coincidentally it's the same Nora who "helps" everyone else. I finally get her to forward my messages on to someone else and they say the same thing. It wasn't until after I told them that I was going to report them for fraud that they sent me another email saying that my request was being considered. One last thing, they said they canceled my subscription, yet when I went to PayPal it was still active so they lied and we're still trying to steal my money.

I emailed to cancel my subscription and within half an hour, I received an email saying that it had been done.
That was a brilliant turnaround time - Thank you

I made a one off payment of £15 for 2 weeks on the app. They then charged be £79 for a monthly subscription which I never signed up for! Customer support said when I pay at checkout that automatically sets up the monthly subscription!! I asked for proof of where I agreed to a monthly subscription and they said there isn't one!! They will not refund my £79!!! I don't like their underhand way of extracting money out of people. It doesn't matter if their app content is good or bad, their unethical dealing with people is what people need to be aware of.
