I looked for a 2-month stay in Edinburgh, and received great help from the Edlets staff. They suggested various apartment for me and my family, and helped negotiate the price on the place we decided on. You do pay (quite a bit if it's a long stay, I think) for this, but when traveling from overseas I think it was worth it for the security!

The booking process has been straightforward. Staff are helpful. Haven't experienced the actual stay yet.

I originally booked my stay through Airbnb, only to receive a message one day before travelling from someone at Edlets informing me the property was no longer available. They then suggested that if I cancelled my booking on Airbnb, they could offer me the same property through their own website. This is utterly disgraceful - they exploited my situation, knowing I had little choice so close to my trip.

When I checked their site, I discovered they had added their own commission. Instead of Airbnb receiving the service fee, Edlets pocketed £190 themselves. This is nothing short of shameless behaviour from a company presenting itself as professional, while in reality hijacking bookings and fees from other platforms.

It took me weeks before I felt calm enough to write this, but I want to warn others: Edlets’ practices are highly unethical, predatory, and take advantage of travellers in desperate situations. Avoid this company if you can.

I was struggling with some of the other rental companies when looking for an apartment in Edinburgh. What a gift to find Edlets! They found exactly what I needed and were so easy to work with, very professional and knowledgable. I wouldn't look anywhere else!
