VOLKSWAGEN POLO AND CUPRA LEON ARE NOT SIMILAR CARS.
I booked a volkswagen polo but i was given a Cupra Leon instead. That's not a similar car. The polo is a small hatchback, the Cupra Leon is big estate car. If they think that this is an upgrade , it is not. Who wants to drive a big estate car in narrow streets in small sardinian villages and then try to park this monster of a car in narrow viccolos? That is unacceptable and constitutes breach of contract.

The booking guarantees a vehicle category rather than a specific model. If the booked model is unavailable, an equivalent or higher-category vehicle may be provided. However, we understand that a larger car can be inconvenient on narrow roads and in small Sardinian villages.

Only later did another employee join.

Ecovia works, is kind and the staff is nice and helpful.
the integrati9on with Booking or other platforms like additional sell-up from ryanair, is always a stupid risk, because too complicated concerning the times you pick up the car (wrong time is given to Ecovia). it is the last time that I made a reservation starting from 8h and the submitting form reset to 11:30. this does not help and always causes problems,

Be warned!
The rental company accused me of returning the car without the tire repair kit. In the return report, they clearly noted that they didn’t check whether the kit was in the trunk when I picked up the car. So it was never there in the first place.
A word of warning to everyone! Before you drive off, check everything and take photos — even of what’s inside the trunk.
The “damage” was valued at a modest… €240. 🙃
