I’ve purchased a couple of Ecovacs mowers and unfortunately, it’s been one issue after another — especially with support. One major frustration is the Bluetooth connectivity. Realistically, they should just put a notice on the mower saying the Bluetooth only works reliably within two feet.
It feels like Bluetooth was added more for marketing reasons than practicality — just to match what competitors offer. But in actual use, it's borderline unusable unless you're following the mower around. A very disappointing experience overall. Tried the support with emails and not really helpful ..

My robot broke while still under warranty, so I sent it back for repair. Instead of fixing it, the company returned a completely different deepot in terrible condition. It was old, scratched, dirty, and nothing like the one I had originally sent – which was almost like new, as I had always taken very good care of it. Absolutely awful experience! I have been fighting for over three months to get my own docking station back, and instead this company forced me to keep a unit that is not mine. The station they sent me is old, scratched, smelly, and in terrible condition – completely different from my original one, which I had taken great care of and looked like new.
Instead of helping me, they kept insisting that the damaged unit was mine, completely ignoring everything I said. The customer service has been shocking – no support, no accountability, no respect for the customer. I feel cheated, ignored, and treated with zero professionalism.
It is shameful how such a large company can behave like this. I will never trust them again and I warn others – be careful, because if something goes wrong, you will receive no help and be left feeling scammed, just like me.

Pathetic!
Its truly shocking to witness such a callous approach from the entire after sales service team and the entire setup. The level of service or complete absence of it - we have received is, to say the least, pathetic, and frankly, it feels fraudulent. They take money from the customers promptly for any spares and then completely abandon any accountability.
The continuous cycle of false commitments, the complete lack of ownership, and the absence of any proactive communication are behaviors that this organization should be ashamed of.
After Sale Service Not Available
It is very disappointing that there is no after-sales service available in Canada. They are able to sell this product in Canada, yet do not provide any technical or functional support here. The customer service team is very irresponsible and careless. A life span of this product is 2 years max.
Problematic in the long run
I have the X1 Turbo and X5 Omni. They were great initially but over time they became very problematic. X1 Turbo was generally more reliable but within 3 years the Turbo station stopped working and I had to send the whole thing for repair multiple times and negotiated an extension on the warranty. While they managed to finally fix it, it was a hassle with multiple trips to the post office and a heavy box. Even after fixing there were nagging issues. X5 Omni is the worst. Within just months it kept having “the sink is full” errors and have been sent back for fixing u der warranty once. It’s now having the same problem again within just few weeks after repair. Overall, while the cleaning was great when they do work, ecovac robots and station quality is poor and leak water onto my floors. I will not get another ecovac. When I lose all my patience with both of them,I will be sending them to the dump and my next one will be a Roborock.

Deebot X8 broken after 2 weeks, poor support!!!
I purchased the Deebot X8 with high expectations, but within just two weeks it began to fail. The battery now drains unusually fast, requires an excessively long recharge, and the unit frequently shuts down on its own—even when the power switch is on.
Attempts to resolve these issues through customer support have been disappointing: responses feel evasive, and I was asked to pay for repairs despite the product’s short lifespan. Overall, my experience reflects poor product reliability and inadequate after-sales service and I absolutely cannot recommend Ecovacs.

I've had this Ecovac N30 for 4 months and it is a pain In the a@#. It loses its calibration sometimes can't find the charger, every time I use it it's something else. I have a $74 robot vac that would run rings around this thing but it doesn't have a mop. Don't buy ecovax no support!

Product: Ecovacs Deebot T30 Omni (purchased Dec 2024) developed multiple faults within 6 months despite sparingly use; repair requested under warranty.
My experience with Ecovacs’ after-sales support has been unprofessional, unreliable, and deeply frustrating. Despite providing accurate address and contact details, DHL failed to collect my faulty device on at least five separate occasions. Instead of taking responsibility, Ecovacs repeatedly deflected blame onto me, alleging refusal of collection without evidence.
This has caused over a month of disruption, with no repair or refund, and multiple dismissive emails that closed tickets prematurely while ignoring statutory obligations under UK consumer law. Requests for a refund were brushed aside based on just 30 days irrational refund window.
The failure to resolve basic logistics, and unwillingness to uphold consumer rights demonstrates a complete lack of accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Ecovacs or their products, and I strongly advise caution before making a purchase.

“Not a premium-tier product” – Ecovacs’ excuse for robot failing in 2 years 6 months
I bought an Ecovacs DEEBOT N8+ in February 2023. Just over 2 years later, suction has dropped, it gets lost, and it can’t dock reliably.
When I contacted Ecovacs support, I was met with one of the most dismissive customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they repeatedly reminded me my warranty had expired and offered no meaningful troubleshooting.
The most shocking line? “It is not a premium-tier product, so 2 years is about the expected lifespan.”
In other words they think it’s perfectly fine if their products stops working properly just after the warranty runs out. No acknowledgment of goodwill, no sign of standing by their product, just a quick brush-off.
Reputable companies look after their customers beyond the warranty period when faults appear this soon. Ecovacs clearly isn’t one of them.
Avoid if you value your money, your time, and your patience.
Disappointing UK Customer Service Experience - Nearly 2 Weeks Without Resolution
I purchased an Ecovacs Deebot N20 Plus (Order #115161607535628) and discovered a manufacturing defect immediately upon setup - a cracked clip on the Mopping Pad Plate that prevents the mopping function from working properly.
The Good: The vacuum function works well when the defective mopping module is removed. The bagless vacuum is just what I wanted.
The Bad - Customer Service:
Initially contacted support on August 6th for a simple replacement part under their 30-day policy
Took nearly a week to get a proper response due to "high volume of contacts"
Required multiple follow-ups from me to get basic acknowledgment
Had to chase them repeatedly for updates instead of receiving proactive communication
Finally escalated to service partner "Equinox" on August 12th - nearly 2 weeks after purchase
The Result:
I've been unable to use the mopping function (a key feature I paid for) for almost 2 weeks. For a product that's supposed to make life easier, the experience has been nothing but frustration.
What I Expected: Quick replacement of a clearly defective part within days, not weeks of back-and-forth emails.
Current Status: Still waiting for contact from their service partner after being given RMA number 01949905.
The product itself seems decent, but Ecovacs' customer service is severely lacking. If you experience any issues, be prepared for lengthy delays and having to constantly follow up yourself. I'm now considering returning the entire unit due to the poor service experience.
Would I recommend? Not based on this customer service experience. There are other robot vacuum brands with better support.
ozmo 950 bad quality
I bought a deebot ecovacs ozmo 950 in 2021 for 400 euros. It ran well during 4 years and in 2025 the robot went wrong. I ve sent the robot for repair to ecovacs and they give me a budget of 400 euros to repair it with a change of all the main elements. I'm really angry with the situation and I feel being misled by the quality of the robot and the serious of this company.

If I could give zero stars, I would do it without hesitation.
I purchased a high-end robot vacuum from Ecovacs for nearly €1,000 back in February, and it has been a complete nightmare ever since. The device has been sent back and forth to after-sales service (SAV) since February 7th, yet it always comes back with the exact same issues, and worse – it now returns damaged (scratches, broken parts...).
To make things even more unbelievable, the courier company in charge of the repairs actually threw the package over our gate. Yes, a €1,000 robot carelessly tossed like a piece of junk. We immediately reported this to Ecovacs, and while they claimed they would escalate the matter to their service provider, nothing ever came of it.
The latest development? After yet another repair attempt, the delivery company claims the robot was delivered – but we never received it. Despite repeated requests, no proof of delivery has been provided. The result: the robot has disappeared, we’re out €1,000, and the company has gone silent for over a month.
Despite numerous follow-ups, our case is still unresolved. Ecovacs shifts responsibility, their service provider stays quiet, and we are now left with no other option than to file an official complaint and hope this forces someone to finally take our case seriously.
Nonexistent customer service, completely ineffective repair process, careless delivery practices – Ecovacs has proven to be an irresponsible and unreliable company. Stay far away if you value your money and peace of mind.

As all County Court Judgements are a matter of public record I can report that Ecovacs are now subject to at least one.....mine!
Due to their intransigence and ignorance of consumer law in the UK I took them to court.
They have been ordered to pay refund the total paid for my deebot.
They have, rather unsurprisingly based upon their recent communications, failed entirely to acknowledge the court proceedings, or pay as directed.
The next phase will be Bailiffs.

It seems this review writing may be a pointless waste of time as the company has not either claimed ownership, or responded to any review.
I put my experience here entirely to hopefully assist future prospective purchasers.
I have had a Deebot for 18 months. it has never worked seamlessly. mapping, emptying of sink, charging, connectivity have all been issues. While communicating with Ecovacs I discovered that my model had actually been manufactured some two years before being sold.
After much wrangling I managed to arrange a collection and repair; the Deebot returned with the same fault as sent with. Additionally the home station had been damaged in transit entirely due to the negligent packaging by their chosen repairers.
I have now commenced the process of utilising the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in order to gain a refund. Surprisingly (not) I have received no response to my notification of impending County Court action.
I sincerely hope prospective purchasers read these reviews prior to placing an order
