Same issue as the person below. Signed up, they dont allow my country then refuse to delete the data. When I contact them via email they ignore me

EC Markets wants to hold your data forever
I signed up with EC Markets, but quickly realized I wouldn't trade there. When I tried to close my account via live chat, the rep bluntly said it's impossible – my account and personal data will stay with them indefinitely, citing vague "it's the regulations".
I'm completely aware they will hold my data archived after closing an account due to regulations, but that's a different thing entirely.
I will update this review if I ever manage to close my account.
