Do not purchase these shoes as shoe…
Do not purchase these shoes as shoe material is inferior. The shoe sole and collar lining disentigrate within 1 year of fair usage and original polish colour stains.
Bad value and poor quality.
Do not buy.

I do not recommend Ecco Shoes
I have a pair of shoes that I only wear on special occasions. There is hardly any wear on them. I now find that the sole is disintegrating. The rest of the shoes are perfect. I have recently found reviews dealing with the same problem and that the company are not interested in the problem, which relates to the material used. For a long time I recommended their products to others, but not anymore.
Ordered red bag got purple bag
Ordered red bag, received different colour on label red plum . Not what i ordered and not even a colour option on website
Soles Disintegrate due to known problem
Over the years I have bought 3 pairs of Ecco shoes and been very happy. They have lasted years. I keep them in the wardrobe with my Reikers, Sketches and Hotters. Last week I took my pair of Eccos to wear to a funeral - I have had them a few years c4 but only worn them a handful of times. Imagine my shock when I came to wear them and the sole just disintegrated as soon as I stepped outside. I was 3 hours from home. The funeral was imminent and I had to go and do the address in my Sketchers trainers because I had nothing else. These shoes cost over £100. This is a known problem (look online) caused by hydrolysis - water entering the sole at manufacture. They are still making these shoes and demand specific photos, receipt, all details of purchase. I sent them photos and all the details I could and basically ECCO don't care. I will never buy ECCO shoes again - this has never happened to any of my other shoes - even the ones that are very much cheaper.
Refund process very unfair
Purchased a pair of shoes for £120 that sadly didn't fit.
3 weeks later I've had no communication from ECCO confirming my return or of them processing my refund. I’ve emailed several times to which I've had a response saying they have my tracking information and the returns process can take UP TO 16 days. Still waiting after 20 days. Would not recommend
I have been an Ecco customer for many…
I have been an Ecco customer for many years and have always placed orders on line. My most recent order has been a complete farce. For some inexplicable reason the Ecco ordering process put an incorrect address on my order, right name, right postcode but nothing else was right, the address does not exist on my postcode. I have been told it’s a computer glitch/system issue.
The order was split into two different deliveries. One parcel force and one Evri. I stated getting tracking information which highlighted the address problem and the parcel was supposed to be returned to sender. I continued to get tracking information and a delivery took place to a house/building I don’t recognise and with a picture of a man I don’t know. I called Ecco early morning to advise them, before the delivery was attempted but seems no one did anything to stop the delivery and redirect it, I was told they would. I have been told that Ecco will contact Evri to update the delivery address on the second parcel too. I have email with photos and tracking information 3 times and called twice. So far I have heard nothing back and I’ve waited in for 2 days for a delivery that has not been made to my address. I don’t know if I will order from Ecco again, recent experience hasn’t been good at all. Some items come from Poland and the return process takes weeks to complete. Ecco don’t identify which items are U.K. based, so you can’t tell when you order. The two missing items in my part order were both in the U.K. I’m very disappointed with the ordering glitch, wasting time trying to get the situation sorted out and ending up with no items. The customer service staff that I spoke to in the first call was pleasant but the second person sounded disinterested and although apologised for the situation, still sounded slightly irritated and not at all interested. Sad, as I’ve bought from this company many times previously and not had the problems I’m now experiencing.
Sizing and quality much poorer than before
WHY is ECCO not offering sizes above 7.5UK for some items, particularly winter boots? This is very frustrating! Receiving an AI-type customer service response was the last straw. Another complaint: This company is known for the comfort and support of its shoes. I recently tried a 'second choice' pair of winter boots—the soles were hard and offered no arch support. What has gone wrong with this company?
Do not recommend to order online if you…
I Do not recommend to order online if you are not 100% sure in your purchase. Return is ridiculously long, you have to chase your money, parcels go missing, i had to sign additional papers to receive a refund.
The customer service representative Jacob was very pleasant and helpful though. But still i would not order anything else anymore because of this.
I started buying ECCO in 2017… bought…
I started buying ECCO in 2017… bought a sandal but after 2 years the sole disintegrate. Then I stopped buying ECCO shoe. In 2023 I started buying a pair Ecco S lite hybrid slip on then a few month I bought Ecco St.1?Hybrid Gortex but 2 days ago the shoe pull tab just give way….need to find a cobbler soon
What a shame, Ecco!
I 've been an Ecco happy customer for over 12 years.
A week ago I bought a pair of shoes. I wore them for a week inside as I usually would do after I buy a pair of shoes , and they were completely uncomfortable, my feet got wounds. I took the shoes back to the store in Westfield London. I was told that I need a box and without a box there is nothing they can do. While bying nobody warned me about how important it was to keep the shoe box.
It is ridiculous and I would never have expected this from Ecco.
I am disappointed and will never buy anything from Ecco.
What a shame!
Today is 24 th October.
It's been a bit more than a month that I've been wearing the shoes. Today in the morning while polishing them I noticed that both heels went off🫣, shocking.
I'm going to take them back to the store tomorrow.I believe this time they won't ask for a shoe box.
Absolutely disappointing!!!
How can such a prestigious brand produce such low quality shoes!
Recommend Ecco from a loyal customer
Have worn only Ecco shoes for many years and always been very pleased with the comfort and quality. Love the biom 2.0 trainers, Irving shoes and the light boots. I buy the premium insoles and additional fur insoles and couldn't be any happier. I usually get 3 or 4 years usage out of having the three pairs. I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews on here as never had any problems. The customer Service at their Edinburgh is very good too. Recommend Ecco from a loyal customer.
Terrible water-repellent golf shoes…
I bought water-repellent golf shoes from Ecco. Unfortunately, after wearing them for a matter of minutes when the grass was wet ( it wasn't even raining) my feet were wet. I advised Ecco of this and suggested that they should at the very least amend their marketing claims here. They refused to take the shoes back and also to make any listing changes. In their view water-repellent level cannot be defined so even if your feet get wet within a matter of minutes then that's acceptable to them! Poor service from a prestigious brand. I may as well play golf in open-toe sandals as they would offer the same level of water protection!
Order two items
Order two items, still not received and absolutely no response from Ecco shoes , please be wary
Substandard workmanship
Bought what would have been very expensive ankle boots in the sale .
Ecco have this system where all boots will do wide or narrow fit . Even with both insoles in situ they y were too wide . Worse still the right boot was wider than the left because the zip had been put sewn in incorrectly. Infact the zip was crooked . One pays for quality and even then products are substandard.
Same old ECCO problem.. I have a lovely comfortable pair of…
I have a lovely comfortable pair of leather upper sandals made by ECCO. They are barely 5 yrs old and have had only light use throughout the summer months. But the same old story of crumbling soles making them now useless. The uppers are pristine and the soles show little wear but lumps are falling off them.... How is this very expensive company still in business?
Ecco shoes disintegrate.
After storing my Ecco shoes in a dry wardrobe but not wearing them for a year or two, I wore them to drive my car to the supermarket. On arrival, I discovered that the soles of both shoes had disintegrated into nasty sticky tar like material that badly stained my vintager car's previously "as new" beige carpets. It is very difficult to clean off. Apparently this problem of hydrolysis of polyurethane plastic is well recognized and know to Ecco. I previously thought Ecco were a premium brand but they clearly knowingly use inappropriate material in their shoes and so I would advise not to buy them.
No customer sevice
No customer sevice - emails ignored . Two outstanding refunds not given . I would never order from here again
Weak and cheap materials quality
Weak materials so no longlife from fake leather and soles.
'Helsinki 2' . . . a deterioration.
For many years I've bought Ecco's 'Helsinki' style (lace-up versions) shoes for everyday wear, mostly the 'biker-toe' style, and also sometimes the 'apron' style. They've now changed the design to what they call 'Helsinki 2', and the 'apron' style appears to have been discontinued. 'Helsinki 2' is very much a deterioration. The sole is now a much smoother finish giving less grip, plus less tread on the heel part of the sole unit, and the soles squeak on smooth flooring. Although the overall shape of the shoe is the same, the stitching pattern is different making the shoe appear less streamlined. The back of the shoe is built up higher than before and feels less comfortable. The removable footbed 'sock' is much softer and more 'spongy' than before, gives less support, and again actually feels less comfortable The shoes are now labelled as 'dual fit' by means of a secondary footbed 'sock' which you can remove . . . a completely unnecessary addition for this type of shoe in my opinion. Finally the quality of the leather is not as good as it was, less flexible and thus again less comfortable than what they were previously where I could wear them straight out of the box and feel I'd been wearing them 'forever' in terms of comfort. Great shame, and having bought one pair of 'Helsinki 2', I won't be buying any more.
Very slow returns process…
Although the shoes are nice their return processing is appallingly slow.
It takes 16 working days (!!!) to process a return and then a further 2-10 to actually refund the money.
