Ordered, paid and then they cancelled.
I ordered, paid for and anticipated delivery of some flexible pipe.
Next thing I know they have cancelled the order without any explanation.
Left me having to find and reorder a substitute from another supplier.
I guess it is what it is.

Hey Kevin!
I called and spoke to you on Feb 11th and explained that you're outside of our standard delivery areas and that we unfortunately can't ship the coil to the highlands. You asked me to refund the item and I refunded it straight away.
We won't allow payment to be taken via the website until the person placing the order has read and accepted the delivery information, within it has a colour coded map of the areas we deliver to.
We work really hard for our 5* reputation, so it's really hurtful for us when we see a 1* review through no fault of our own :(
If you wouldn't mind editing it, I'd really appreciate it.

Perfect customer service
I received a damaged item, a small component of my order. Easy Merchant support were on it straightaway and I had a replacement the next day. Fab experience overall, communication was friendly and timely and the products are exactly as described and of good quality.

Fantastic Service and product—I shopped around and found EM competitively priced for the geotextile. What clinched the deal was the free P&P. The order process was simple, and the product was delivered within days. I will be using EM again.

Good experience with this company but the only thing that let our experience down was the courier who didn’t turn up on the day they said would be delivering it and so we had to wait until the following day! But this is not EasyMerchants fault at all and we would definitely order from them again

Direct debit set up without my consent
I placed an order for some barrier netting (with which I was happy) via EasyMerchant's website & had to pay via Paypal as they couldn't take card payments over the phone and the 2FA wasn't working. (That was my bank's problem.)
Only this week I found out, purely by chance while on the phone to my bank, that a direct debit had been set up, WITHOUT my knowledge or permission, for Paypal to take money from my account twice per year & send it to EasyMerchant. I cannot say whether the error was down to Paypal or to EasyMerchant at this time.
EasyMerchant are looking into this; I'll update my review when they've been able to tell me how this occurred.

I believe there must be some mistake on your end. We do not offer any subscription service, we do not (and have no way of) setting up any direct debits, and certainly would not be taking any money out of your account, without you placing the order yourself. We do not store any payment details.

EDIT: Hey Mattt, thanks for updating the review. We did email over the proof of the paypal transaction to you today showing all the details of the transaction. As mentioned on the phone, it's impossible for us to set up a direct debit with you, we don't have systems to do this as we have no need.
Paypal confirmed with me over the phone that it's just a standard payment, with no issues showing and for the correct amount, all as detailed in the transaction details I've emailed to you.
Also as mentioned on the phone, it's possible that you've clicked to use Paypal's "pay in three" option, but that would be on your end, via Paypal, and I can't check that from our end as we would only receive one normal payment anyway (as sent in the transaction history). As mentioned, the PayPal representative advised me to ask you to call them if you have any concerns.
To reiterate - we certainly have not set up any kind of direct debit with you, and we have only taken one payment from you at the time of order for the value on the invoice.

After I placed my order and paid realised 24 hrs later I had missed off 2 bits rang them up and it was sorted I paid and it all arrived in the original order no extra cost for the 2 bits I had missed off

Geotextile membrane for driveway
