Earth 2 is a futuristic concept for a second earth; a metaverse, between virtual and physical reality in which real-world geolocations on a sectioned map correspond to user generated digital virtual environments. These environments can be owned, bought, sold, and in the near future deeply customized. Our concept went viral through Dec 2020 - Jan 2021 and we experienced hypergrowth. This has lead to a small team handling hundreds of thousands of users almost overnight. We accept there are delays with withdrawing credits, however, the delays are because our team currently need to manually check most withdrawals (especially higher amounts) to be sure the credits in those accounts are not linked to accounts that tried to abuse and scam out system and other users during the hypergrowth period. We apologise for for the delay in these areas and we can assure you we are dedicated to the long term goals and success of Earth 2 and are working to streamline many of these processes over coming weeks and months. If you are interested in our project and what we are setting out to achieve, we suggest you sign up for a free account or follow us on Social Media so we can bring you future updates and keep you in the loop! This company will do anything to get your money.

Someone impersonated a critic (Callum Upton) in a positive review of the company. This is illegal in both the US and the UK (where the critic is from). Given the company's history of broken promises such as withdraws to fiat being blocked (among others), I wouldn't be surprised if this review gets flagged for me not saying nice things about the company. This is a complete waste of time to go into as an investment.

Quietly becoming one of the most ambitious metaverse projects. Don’t believe the hate.

I’ve been in Earth2 since December 2020 and I’m still here in 2026. Development has been slower than a lot of us wanted, but I guess building a scale Earth takes more than a week and some Unity plug-ins.

I'm lucky enough to have been testing Earth2 Version1 for some time now, and continue to be blown away by the sheer scale of our digital twin. Yes, there have been some hurdles and evolving regulatory framework to navigate, but I find the one star reviews unfair and the language used libellous.

Patiently waiting for everything to come together.

E2 is my happy distraction. I've made good friends, learned a lot and I can't say I've ever had any issues. One of the few Metaverse projects still building. Keep pushing, E2.

Don't Believe the Haters

Did a bunch of research on this, many of the negative claims here are false. So would like to share what I've found, Earth 2 started about 5 years ago, it was one of the most successful startups in history. They are building a Metaverse which is a recreation of the Planet Earth, without all the man made structures, the players as the platform is develeped will end up building new cities. Earth 2 is play to earn and many people, even the ones hating on the platform have made thousand if not 10's of thousands of dollars off the platform. Which they have received. Payouts are done through their crypto currency where the E$'s that you make on the platform are converted to ESS (Essence) which can be withdrawn to your crypto wallet and cashed out from there. Payouts are done every day except over the weekends. There is a back log of payouts that is about 60+ days out, due to the low liquidity in the LP. But doing this allows the Token to be pretty stable, in fact more stable than the rest of the market at this time. As ETH has dropped, ESS has stayed steady, even though being paired with it. Yes, development has been not as fast as some have wanted. But at year 5, they do have a playable world with a large number of players having access for testing, which they are in the alpha stages at this time. They are pretty consistent with updates and new features rolling out, though there have been some hickups along the way, with Dev issues and things needing to be redone do to unforseen situations that arise. I mean they're building the Earth here, it's something nobody's done before, there's going to be some delays. Most players from the start visioned this to be a 5-10+ year project, so being at year 5 and having a playable world is somewhat on track with many people's expectations. Is Earth2 a scam, ponzi or pyrimid scheme?, from what I see, no, it's just one man's dream and a bunch of other people that share that same dream and want to help it become a reality. Which it has. Is it for everyone, no, it's definitely not for the guy looking to scam people or the guy looking to get rich quick, it's not for the crypto bros looking for those rockets. It's for the people that want to build a life in a 3D world and accumilate virtual assets along the way, that one day might bring you a few bucks. Can people make good money off Earth 2, well yes, some already have, but like with everything you have to work for it, they aren't going to do it for you. I hope this helped in easing any fears about the project and clears up any misconceptions.

From Vision to ALPHA: A Milestone for Earth 2 Despite facing regulatory complexity…

Despite facing regulatory complexity and evolving digital asset frameworks, Earth 2 has continued to build and iterate rather than stall. The platform’s achievement of an ALPHA launch featuring a digital replica of Earth demonstrates tangible technical progress beyond concept.

While challenges remain — particularly around compliance, scaling, and ecosystem maturity — the team has shown persistence in development and product rollout. The ALPHA release represents a meaningful milestone toward their long-term metaverse vision and signals continued forward momentum in a difficult regulatory environment.

Long-term perspective from a 5-year user

I’ve been involved with Earth 2 for around five years now, so I’ve had the opportunity to watch the project evolve from its early land-based phase into the ongoing rollout of the 3D metaverse platform (E2V1).

Like any long-term development project — especially one operating in a rapidly changing regulatory environment — progress hasn’t always been linear. Expectations shift, compliance requirements evolve, and not every decision will satisfy every participant. But regulatory compliance is a legal reality for any platform operating at scale, and that’s part of building something designed to last.

What I’ve appreciated most is the focus on infrastructure. Rather than rushing out a flashy release or launching a token without utility (as we’ve seen with many projects over the past few years), Earth 2 appears to have spent significant time developing underlying systems and scaffolding. That kind of groundwork isn’t always exciting from the outside, but it matters long term.

There are currently hundreds of players testing Version 6 of the pre-alpha multiplayer world, and while it’s still early-stage, it shows measurable progress. For a project with a multi-year development horizon, that’s what I’d expect to see — iteration and testing rather than instant completion.

It’s not a short-term flip. It’s a long build. And from my perspective, the trajectory has been consistent with that.

Game and Investment

It’s been a slower development than I would have liked. But it is a great concept, created with passionate people and I believe it has huge potential, both as a game and as an investment opportunity.

SCAM

This company only lets you add money and does everything possible to prevent you from withdrawing it. When you try to take your money out, they deliberately complicate the process so you cannot withdraw your funds. Do not get trapped. This is a scam.

Earth 2 is From Day One to the Milestone: Why Earth 2 is a Revolutionary Long-Term Playan incredibly huge…

Earth 2 is an incredibly huge undertaking. The potential it brings to the digital world could be truly revolutionary, but it is important to understand what this is: a long-term investment. If you are looking for a "fast win" or overnight riches, this project is not for you. Building a 1:1 digital twin of the Earth takes time, precision, and a lot of development.

The milestones reached recently—from the $ESS (Essence) utility to the upcoming release of the E2V1 world—show that we are moving out of the conceptual phase and into a reality that will soon be published for the world to see. For those with the patience to see the big picture, the potential is unmatched.

Scam

I’m reposting my review because my previous one was unfairly removed. First, notice how Earth2 handles reviews: they never flag 5-star ratings, only the negative ones.

Earth2 has failed to deliver on any of their promises. USD withdrawals are blocked, and the only way to cash out is through the crappy “essence” token, which takes months. I strongly advise you not to waste your money here.

Absolute Scam

Don't waste your money in Earth2, once you give it to them you won't be able to withdraw 'em back, if you try they'll convert it into their worthless tokens and then charge you so many fees that most likely you'll receive zero. You see how they purposely conceived this scheme but they hide behind issues with regulations. It's a scam, no credible company has such issues, jokers. Kids with a startup project preying on other kids mostly. As for the company, it is nothing but a virtual land dead marketplace; they haven't delivered anything but BS in years. Steer clear. Hopefully there will be legal actions against this fraud.

An innovative and ambitious metaverse project with great potential — but also clear risks. The vision of Earth2.io with digital land and a virtual world is inspiring, and the development team has shown that they can move forward. I recommend participating if you are ready to be patient and invest with a longer-term perspective.

I’ve been part of Earth 2 since nearly…

I’ve been part of Earth 2 since nearly the beginning, and I can honestly say I have no regrets. What makes Earth 2 stand out from other gaming companies is that they’ve opened their development journey for players to see. We’ve been able to watch them build their vision step by step, which is rare in this industry.

A lot of the negative comments you’ll find come from people who expected a “get rich quick” scheme. When they realized Earth 2 is a legitimate project where rewards come from gameplay, strategy, and participation, they got frustrated. That doesn’t make Earth 2 a scam, it makes it a real project with depth.

Yes, there were challenges when Earth 2 launched their cryptocurrency, especially with government regulations affecting the old fiat payout system. But they adapted and moved payouts to crypto, which still works, it just requires a little learning. Unfortunately, some people would rather complain than adjust.

Over the years, critics have thrown every accusation at Earth 2, but time and updates keep proving them wrong. They said there would never be a playable world, yet today hundreds of players are already testing it. That’s proof of progress.

Like anything in life, Earth 2 involves risk. But for me, it’s been a risk well worth taking. I’ve had fun, built amazing things and relationships, and I’m excited to see how this world evolves in the years to come.
