EC is a wonderful school. We are so happy we made the decision to send our children there!

When profits are your motives, important aspects of a child's education will be sacrificed. While instruction at Eagle Crest meets expectations, the security of the students is given second billing. Immediately upon entering the facility, issues present themselves. The lobby and entry are not secured and staff, given conversations with leadership, are not trained to be able to handle the types of emergencies we face today. One need only look to situations having occurred involving law enforcement to see their failures in proactively keeping our students safe.

Did you ever wonder, if there was an issue and students needed to be evacuated out of the area, how would that happen? We just let them walk outside exposed to whatever threat exists? Call parents and have 1,000 cars descend on the parking lot? What contingency plans exist? We can assume none.

Why does Eagle Crest not participate in a partnership with law enforcement as all public schools in Ottawa county do? There is no school liaison officer? Why? Are we to assume the money isn't there for the peace of mind and added protection of our children? Why do the children of Eagle Crest not receive the standard training public school children do? Educational and safety classes concerning strangers, social media and internet safety, are seemingly not important?

Eagle Crest continually asks for donations, supplies, assistance, to supplement staff and less than sufficient staff budgets. While the teachers are a shining example of care and concern for the students, they are thrust into an environment that is not conducive to overall success given a general lack of financial support from an organization we know to be very profitable. If this is not the case, let NHA release its financial statements so we too can feel their pain. I for one am on board with all educational entities that receive state money to fall under the same transparency and reporting guidelines as public schools.

Eagle Crest has provided an individual student focused environment in a classroom setting, helping each student to improve because of fantastic teachers, a dedicated staff and highly involved parents. Their focus is not limited to academics, the academics are built upon a foundational emphasis on character and integrity.

Eagle Crest Charter Academy challenges and helps kids to do their best in multiple academic subjects while purposefully teaching moral values.

Eagle Crest is a wonderful school!! And the staff is incredible! They are good at what they do and really want to see all kids succeed!!

Eagle Crest is the type of school where expectations are high, support to meet those expectations is abundant and where students have permission to succeed and permission to fail without judgment. Equipping students to communicate and succeed in today's world. All of this within the context of doing day to day life like a family.

The staff is amazing. They work very hard to make sure each child is learning and growing. They push the children to do their best. The curriculum and the staff make it the best school for children to succeed.
