The Parametric Design with Visual Programming course is amazing! Very qualified professors, interesting subject and an amazing option for those who want to explore programming as a way of building new projects and working with data in AEC.

Enrolling for the Master’s in Global BIM Management in Civil Engineering and GIS with Zigurat Institute of Technology has been one of the most rewarding professional decisions of my career.

Coming from a civil and structural engineering background, I wanted a programme that would bridge my practical site experience with the fast-evolving world of digital construction, data-driven design, and sustainable infrastructure development. Zigurat delivered exactly that — and more.

The curriculum was globally relevant yet deeply practical, covering BIM implementation, project coordination, digital twin concepts, GIS integration, and collaborative workflows across the AEC industry. What stood out to me most was how the modules were structured around real-world projects, rather than just theory. Each assignment was built directly on industry challenges, making the learning immediately applicable to my work in engineering design and real estate development here in Nigeria.

The faculty comprised international professionals actively engaged in BIM and smart-city projects worldwide, bringing firsthand experience into every lecture. The Canvas learning platform was robust and flexible, allowing me to balance full-time work with study effectively. The collaboration with peers from several countries also enriched the discussions — it truly felt like a global classroom.

Overall, I emerged not just with a degree, but with a new perspective on digital construction, multidisciplinary coordination, and the role of technology in transforming infrastructure delivery.

I would confidently recommend Zigurat’s Global BIM Management programme to any engineer, architect, or construction professional seeking to upgrade their skills, expand their international network, and lead confidently in this era of digital transformation.

Great place to shape your future! I've successfully finished an online master's in smart city management here. The program was an almost perfect balance between innovation and traditional urban studies. I've gained valuable knowledge from the top experts in the field, met and connected with like-minded people all around the world, and most importantly, lived and worked as a professional architect during my studies.

I signed up for a course called AI For Construction (from October 24 - February 25), and was very eager to learn. The course itself is supposed to last 4 months, but there's a whole month off for Christmas/New Years, making the course only 3 months long.
Having that in mind, everyone would expect intense information on how to use AI for construction, but WRONG. They spent a whole month on discussing the story and theories of AI. During this month: Nothing truly applicable. Not one tool that could be used/ be applicable to the construction world.
They would show/tell us about the existence of AI;s out there (something you could have googled yourself).
I spoke up early about the issues to the professors, but the agenda continued the same for a while.
Eventually, after month 1 and a half, I lost interest and stopped going.

They weren't very well organized. Some professors would show up just reading from slides, as if to only do that one thing and bounce.

Some professors were very knowledgeable, and nice, but even they sometimes would show up unprepared. I remember one of them would run tests/try out examples during class. So we'd spend a good chunk of the class watching the professor trying to figure out why his command/test wasn't working as it was his first time trying it out too.

I have spoken to Zigurat about this and asked to take the course again when they have done some improvement, but they disagree - even though I provided them with more than two dozen screenshots where the students were commmenting/complaining about the professors and/or the material.

Oh and.. I was told by my classmates that they won't hand out the Diplomas (for those who passed) for another 3 months or so.
Another student who had taken another course with them didn't receive the diploma for over 12 months after finishing the course.

Not sure about the good reviews on Zigurat, but my experience wasn't good at all.

Throughout the Blockchain master's program my learning journey has been an enlightening experience. This experience has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the technology and its applications. I have gained knowledge in various areas, such as the fundamentals of blockchain, smart contracts, cryptography, DAO. It also includes knowledge about NFT, decentralized applications the link between the traditional economy and the DeFi with various great future application. Here my expectations meet the reality of this worderful technology. I have really appreciated the way we make the link between our skill and the world need.

My time at the Institute was a marvelous experience. My mind was opened up to a world of possibilities. I just completed the Zigurat Master’s program in Blockchain Technologies in its November 2023 cohort. The institute offers a reference master's degree in this field. The learning and faculty are good and manages to give an appreciable set of tools and knowledge to be prepared for working in this industry, with 2 possible takes: business path (more aimed at entrepreneurship) and technical path (aimed at kickstarting one's skills in coding blockchain layers). The cohort was a good balance, not too crowded (about 30 people) and with excellent networking and interpersonal growth options. Methodology needs a little dusting, but faculty and staff listen to students, receive feedback, and strive to implement improvements.

I've enjoyed this year International Master course at Zigurat. It was a hard but rewarding period where we've learned many tools to apply LEAN methodologies in our daily working day on site or at the office. Thank you Zigurat,

I believe this is one of the best master's worldwide, the complete program covers all aspects of BIM management and high-profile teachers.

The Master's program taught us how to use BIM effectively in real-world projects. It emphasized global standards and data integrity, making BIM a standard practice in the industry. We learned about Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and how Agile Scrum improves teamwork. Understanding task sequencing and BIM's dynamic evolution was eye-opening, showing its adaptability for different projects. The BCF workflow in the Common Data Environment (CDE) simplified communication among BIM tools, enhancing project efficiency. Our diverse team roles highlighted the flexible nature of BIM responsibilities. These practical lessons go beyond the program, providing a strong foundation for future projects

A wonderful experience to study here, the teachers have futuristic and disruptive thinking.

Overall the course and alignment with the University of Barcelona has been invaluable cementing my professional experience. As with any course the lecturers vary but the mean is high and those that drove their lecturing style in interactive and engaging ways where worth the attendance alone. The application of ideas via the thesis was also really interesting and the remote model worked really well around family and work commitments. The offsite student events where also really great.
