Strolled into dwell for the first time …

Strolled into dwell for the first time yesterday, at the Croydon branch and ended up buying furniture for a house we haven’t yet moved into! The service provided by Liliana Pagliarini and her manager Wioletta, was great not only did she save us money but gave us great advice on delivery options and further interior designing. Thank you for going above and beyond expected.

Excellent Delivery Service

Had a sideboard delivered this morning - haven't unpacked it yet as about to move house, but I was so impressed with the 'two Marks', Mark G and Mark B, who delivered it. Really courteous and helpful. Brilliant, thank you!

Experience of shopping in store v online shopping

We visited the Leeds store at Birstall Retail Park a week after moving to West Yorkshire from the Isle of Wight. The sales assistant was helpful but incredibly "pushey" and when she asked what our budget was with other customers nearby - we were not impressed. Instead we purchased our items via the Dwell online service. We purchased a number of items under order number: 1894923

The service received from the customer order line was excellent as were the updates via email, text and phone calls.

Our furniture was delivered yesterday by Mike and Will who were polite and placed the items in the locations requested. We had not realised that the furniture would be boxed and we would need to remove from the packaging and then dispose of cardboard etc. As two of the pieces were large - it was not easy to get them out of the boxes and we were told that if the items needed to be returned then they must be in the original packaging - so trying to get a sideboard and chest of drawers out of the large boxes without damaging packaging was not easy.

All pieces were well protected and free from damage with the exeception of a shelf from the Escala shelf unit - we have reported this and now await a call on Monday from the customer care team.

We are very pleased with the furniture and the negative comments are just there to help improve future service and does not detract from the quality of the furniture or the politeness/helpfulness of the majority of staff.

Making problems but solving at the end

I have spent around £1500.00 for furniture in new flat. Dwell scratched my marble and wood floor while delivering furniture. They promised to pay damage over 6 month ago. There was delays and issues of who to make payment to. However finally Dwell resolved matter in my favour.

Great style and service!

I've been shopping around for a few months for some armchairs, a dining set and some bar stools. Dwell not only impressed us with the quality and style of furniture but when I called the Sidcup store with some questions, Will outdid any other store staff I'd spoken with. He was patient, understanding and so helpful!! He shared the details of our conversation with the store manager, Katie so that when we arrived she was already briefed. What a great team who actually talk to each other. Very happy with Dwell and would recommend it to others.

Excellent Customer Service

I have just spoken to a wonderful lady from Dwell customer service. She has restored my faith with her excellent service and resolved my problem with an item I purchased. The furniture from Dwell is beautiful and very stylish so I would not hesitate to buy from them in near future. Thank you Dwell, I love my new chocolate sideboard and have had many compliments.

Excellent service Dwell

Excellent service at the White City store.Outstanding service when goods were delivered.The carrier called at 8.10 to say they would be with me between 10 &11. They were here at 10. As I am on my own,the two men very kindly unpacked the goods and assembled the table and chairs.They went above and beyond their remit and I am very grateful for their help.All the packing was taken away.I can now enjoy my new furniture.

Impossible to get a refund!

Impossible to get a refund!

Spent a considerable amount of money at Dwell in recent months and returned some expensive items on 1st May and still waiting for a refund. Made countless calls to 'Customer Service' who are unable to help and blame their finance department and shortage of staff. Emailed the address provided on the Dwell website and didn't even get a response so in line with the complaint escalation procedure sent a letter to Coin Furniture Limited. No response received to date and if past predicts future then I don't expect to. Judging by the other reviews on here there is a clear pattern with regards to obtaining a refund so proceed with caution as like me you will need to obtain your money through a small claims court.

Fantastic service from Dwell Slough

Fantastic service from Dwell Slough! I don't usually write reviews but the staff at Dwell Slough were so exceptional that I have to acknowledge them. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so accommodating. I arrived at the store just as the manager was leaving, she stayed behind to answer all my questions. I then had a query regarding a sofa I had previously purchased, the store telephoned the manager and she came straight back in, although this meant she would miss her connections home. I purchased a replacement sofa and the store handled everything, refunding the difference and arranging collection - without any hesitation. The personal, friendly, helpful service at Dwell is what makes it stand out from other retailers. I'd like to say a BIG thank you to the manager, Patricia and Michael who were exceptionally helpful - and I LOVE my new Malmo! Thank you

Excellent end to end service

This is the second time we have bought from Dwell Leicester Fosse Park and both times they have been excellent from the showroom to delivery and assembly. They keep you informed by text of their delivery schedule and the staff are great. Mihai and Alex made sure we were happy with the table they had assembled and explained about the 14 day return period. I'd recommend them to anyone.

A rare level of customer service ...

I have ordered a lot of dwell furniture for my new house recently and have found the customer service to be outstanding, which as the title suggests, is unfortunately rare these days. This service level is consistent throughout, everyone I have come into contact with including the CS team on the phone, the retail staff and the delivery guys responsible for the white glove service. Ben Caine in the Leicester branch was very helpful in talking to us about options and when he realised we had an open order he logged on to review ( for no particular reason) but did notice that the large sideboard we ordered was due to be delivered assembled and he changed this to flat pack with the WGS its a good job he did as there was no way this would have gone up the stairs. I was advised delivery would be between 1-4pm on the delivery day by one of the drivers who was very polite took the time to talk to me properly. They arrived at 1.30 and were amazing they were happy and lighthearted and really came across like they enjoyed their jobs, they were a pleasure to have in the house. They were very tidy and had great general product awareness about Dwell products. My order number was 1792922 if you are able to view identify the team that were responsible then please ensure that they are recognised as they are contributing to a great reputation for great customer service. Good job guys xx

Very impressed with the service.

whole experince dealing with the company was really good from ordering to delivery and setting up. Steven and denis who took my order and dealt with all the paperwork was impressive and delivery men who did their job was excellent. Really impressive service and products. Thanks to whole team.

Excellent customer service in the Greyhound Retail Park store, Chester

I visited the Dwell store in Chester on Saturday 7th January. I had gone into DFS to look at sofa's and whilst following the store round I ended up walking into Dwell. I had never come across it before, but it has fantastic contemporary furniture in there.

I was looking at a dining table and chairs and Emily came over to ask if I was ok. Emily was extremely friendly and approachable and informed me that the chairs I was looking at were also available in different colours and in the sale. I decided to reserve them there and then and Emily was brilliant. I didn't have my new address on me, but that was no problem as Emily made it all easy. As promised, Emily rang me the following week and we sorted out the transaction, but she also kindly informed me of another item that I was interested in that had just gone in the sale and followed up the call by sending me a picture of the item in an email.

All in all I have been extremely impressed with the whole experience of shopping with Dwell and particularly impressed by Emily's friendly and informative professional attitude. I would recommend them.

Great Staff, an amazing customer journey and amazing products.

I went into the Dwell Store in Camp Hill, Birmingham to purchase a dining table with chairs. I spoke to Amaahl and Romana over a period of 3 visits as me and my wife were quite indecisive!

I was very impressed with Amaahl and Romana, They provided me with an exceptional customer journey to which I am ever so greatful.

We expressed what we wanted and they were very well versed with the products available to us, introducing us to dining tables and chairs that may suit us.

We have brought a set for our home, it is an amazing quality set but unfortunately we will be returning it as it is slightly too big for our kitchen!

Never the less I would recommend Dwell to anyone. This is a store not only with great looking quality products but an exceptional team to assist you in choosing the right products for your home.

We were also helped by another member of the team who was exceptionally polite and helpful but we forgot her name! A lot of credit to her too.

Thank you all for your help, much obliged.
