I honestly cannot recommend Duncan Lewis enough. Incredibly helpful and professional. I really feel supported by Sophie Jensen. She takes her time to always update me at anytime, explain things very thoroughly whilst being friendly and professional and I never feel judged. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better solicitor, she really made a stressful situation much easier to navigate and I really think that was due to her friendliness and understanding approach.

I am a local doctor and called the local branch of Duncan Lewis solicitors to see if we could set up an initial chat to discuss a possible civil case affecting our practice. The receptionist took minimal details, mainly focussing on how much money would be involved (to which I honestly explained I am not sure and that is one of the reasons I wanted to discus the matter with a solicitor), did not listen to me, and I am confident that she did not take anywhere near enough information to reasonably summarise the case to her solicitor colleague. She put me on hold whilst she said that she would go to speak to solicitor, and then came back to me about 1 minute later stating that they don't take 'these cases', and that I could speak to the Law Society. I pointed out politely that I did not consider that I had been listened to, but was given short shrift. I found the experience to be very poor.

1)how was your case handled? It was amazing, just he interviewed me so many times, even if language barrier is one problem he solve all problem and help me very well. He called me, emailed me in each aspect of my case. I was told him everything about me and he recorded it all as I wanted. He took every information from me and organize it. He said to me don't hesitate to contact me, so I contacted him by email and phone. So it was amazing lawyer handling my case in the right way.

He was amazing lawyer I have seen ever. As Allah is ma witness I have never ever seen such lawyer who ask me, record ma case, help me and handling my case very well.

Emma newton at Duncan Lewis has been absolutely amazing, informative, calm and very supportive throughout my family court proceedings. She has been there through everything, reviewing evidence, advising and supporting me through the important fact finding stages and providing bundles for the courts. Duncan Lewis took on my case when every other firm I contacted turned it down, possibly because it was so small and wouldn't generate a lot of fees. Despite the low fees, Paige Evans dealt with my case professionally, spent time reviewing the information and dispensed advice effectively. I was able to recover my monies from my bank quickly when it would have taken much longer as I live in Laos, a country with poor postal system and the bank requesting all correspondence by post.

I had a great experience with Mr. Denny Joseph Derasahayam,i highly recommend him.

I filled in a contact form on their website to get support with an issue with my landlord. 3 days later, I had still not heard back from them, so I decided to call them directly to have an update.

The person I had on the phone was very cold, unfriendly, and did not explain things clearly. After looking at the contact form I submitted, she told me that there was no capacity to take on new landlord harassment cases.

While I can understand this, I told her that it would have been nice to let me know much sooner instead of keeping me waiting for nothing. She gave a vague explanation about annual leave in the team, and showed absolutely no empathy.

What an unprofessional way to treat someone was is already struggling because they are a victim of harassement...

The worst so-called solicitor in the uk! Lorick Winarskie Lie's and make's false promises needs investigating by the SRA deliberately took over 3 years to make the eviction over the time frame!
