I bought a fountain pen with a fine nib. It writes very well, though I expected it to be finer. The problem is, every now nd again a drop of ink falls on my paper. It clearly leaks into the cap too, as I sometimes get inky fingers holding it.

My son bought me a pen for my birthday at the end of May last year. Although the pen said it had a medium nib, I found that the nib was really fat and also the ink didn't flow properly through it. I contacted Dryden and their customer service was good - they sent a replacement fine nib. It was ok, although the pen doesn't balance well in the hand and I haven't found it enjoyable to use. Now, 9 months on, the ink has stopped flowing properly through the nib again. I am only using cartridges that were bought from Dryden with the pen. I have flushed it through with water. It is still not working properly and I am going to give up on it. Very disappointing.
