Pro XL DRT Quality Piece of Equipment

I did much research on rear tine tillers. I was initially leaning towards a Troy-Bilt, but after reading hundreds of reviews, I opted out. I then found d the DR tiller options. For the price and quality review ratings, I was sold.

I had it shipped to a distribution center and picked it up yesterday. I assembled it this morning, probably an hour of my time, including gas and oil. During the minor assembly, the instructions were very well written, fit and finish was excellent. The moment of truth was when I started it the first time…one pull of the rope and it fired up.

No time today to do actual tilling, I just drove it to the shed and that went very well. BTW, it has a reverse and neutral and is very easy to maneuver.

Will follow up on the review once I churn up some dirt. Cannot go wrong with this quality equipment for the price point.

Dr. Power Pro 60 Grader Purchase

Your equipment is better than presented, and your customer service on the phone was also great. Your delivery was quick. I have purchased many devices to grade my quarter-mile driveway. This is the best!

Very poor engineering

The unit arrived, I uncrated and two of the four screws that held the chute elbow in place were missing. I installed two that I had. I adjusted all the cables to get the unit to work. Once working, self propelled walk behind, this thing will absolutely drown you with dust and debris. The bag is a total pain to empty. This is a poorly engineered machine. The 90 day return is if you don't put oil in it and crank it. What a joke, threw $2700 away.

Over-all good quality

I would have given 5 stars, but I had to take the quick loading assembly apart as the first time I tried to load it the spring pushed out. I was able to repair it and it works, but out of the box quality control was spotty for that part. The Unit itself seems powerful, and the engine started and ran on testing easily. Over-all when spring comes this unit seems to be good quality and will work as intended.

Supportin Richard Lukaszewski's experience with the Bag Support Bracket on the DR Pilot XTSP walk-behind leaf vacuum

I would like to refer to Richard Lukaszewski's review of December 1, 2024 regarding a DR Pilot XTSP walk behind leaf vacuum.
Specifically the experience Richard had with the Bag Support Bracket.

I have had the EXACT same problem. After replacing the bag onto the Bag Support Bracket after dumping the contents (I bought the reusable bag which is very well made) a sufficient downward force is needed for the cover to latch properly to the Bag Support Bracket. If the latch is not secure, the unit will not start up. I had to replace the original Bag Support Bracket because the two integral bolts on the Bracket sheered off. I am now on the 2nd Bag Support Bracket and the Bracket is visibly bending downward and will likely fail soon.

I would provide less than 2 stars except that the customer support folks have been so helpful, pleasant and everything else I would hope for from a supplier. However I am having issues with their product and, like Richard, I paid about $1600 for the unit with the useless detachable tube.

Not worth the hassle........

I could not use a credit card that has no issues. Each time it was denied after numerous attempts.

When I placed the order online it went through, then I received a a email from Dr Power that it didnt process.

So, I called and had multiple agents not be able to make it work. Each time I would call the credit card company and they would say its not an issue with them but Dr Powers input. ie date or car number etc.

I've had zero issues using this card both before the Dr Power purchase.

It's extremely irritating because we all use our cards to get points or rewards and this is the card I needed to use but it didnt work. I had to use another card to get the brush mower.

I will also add; I am surprised and disappointed to not be offered a military discount for active duty or retired service members. Generac has numerous military equipment contracts, you would think they would care about Veterans.

I bought this PRO XL30 snowblower in…

I bought this PRO XL30 snowblower in 2019. I have had to do "major" work to it every year since I've owned it.
I had to replace friction drive wheel inside (a big job)
Drive belt
Hinge on spout shoot.
Handle to engage auger $ blower (Weld broke)
Crank to rotate spout has vibrated off more than once
Spacers Kit at base of spout because it would not rotate
LED head light does not work now
Choke control knob has just vibrated off and is lost
Friction control on speed control lever won't stay tight.
Gear box and cable to rotate spout.
That's what I can remember right now.
The drive wheels won't pull it's own weight half the time on a level surface even.

When the machine was just a little over a year old, I needed a part and was told by customer service "You should have bought the extended warranty". I disagree, turns out what I should have bought is a Ariens or a Toro.

My advice - Don't buy a DR!

The DR snow blower is excellent quality…

The DR snow blower is excellent quality and powerful enough for any snow storm. It's traction and many other features make it the best in the business. My yard will welcome its presence no matter the nature of any snow storm.

great customer service

Recently, I ordered a product via a phone call. I spoke with Brigit and she did an exceptional job of helping me to complete the order. She was absolutely courteous and friendly and knowledgeable. I was highly impressed and pleased. I would be pleased to speak with her again if ever the need arose.

Not sure why the shift cable breaks…

Not sure why the shift cable breaks other then maybe it’s offset a little..great that questions are asked to ensure that you need and or are operating equipment correctly..lol…the representative was polite and had my order submitted and posted to my site and a follow up email that my order was fulfilled and tracking number..total awesomeness

Don't Support Their Products

I have a 2012 DR Power grader that needs new wiring harness. The wiring was CHEAP to begin with and have had to reassemble on a regular basis to get the grader to work. The leads for the battery terminal keep falling off. I called DR Power to get a new wiring harness and it's too inconvenient for them to have those replacement parts. They don't support the products they sell. Then you're sent adrift to figure out how to solve their problems. Thanks, DR Power.

We are a small business

We are a small business, we own a BnB, we are the employees! I love my Dr. Power walk behind weed wacker, our first order, we received the walk behind immediately, we received the battery charger immediately, finally after 6 months got the batteries. I am 66 years old, I don’t have to hold the very heavy Milwaukee weed wacker, any more! I ordered two more batteries, in October! Now your saying delivery in May 2025! You have a great product, what you DON’T have is turn around on orders.

I was given a DR trimmer/mower in kit…

I was given a DR trimmer/mower in kit form built in 2013. Mike was able to help identify my model, send, me a manual, identifythe cut cable that I needed.
He took my order and processed it quickly.
Could not have been a better experience.
Great service support.
