Not Reliable
I ordered 2 sticks of RAM, two days later had an email saying refunded, no explanation or anything. I can't get through to speak to anyone. My advice is avoid if you want reliability, transparency and importantly, any form of customer service.
Disappointing
I ordered a brand new xum rebuild ready to game pc, after seeing all the reviews I was skeptical on whether the pc would work. Upon arriving everything looked fine however the gpu is faulty and has cause my game to repeatedly crash. Blacks screen, screen froze, system restarts. After contacting support (Tom) who was lovely helped uninstall and reinstall Windows and my drivers however that didn't work. Kind of disappointed as I worked very hard for my gaming pc and missed a very important gaming tournament . I'm awaiting Monday for xum to collect the pc.

Can't believe I've paid £33 for a 8 year old very well used Itel SSD 256, unfortunately I was in a rush and didn't see used item but there's used and past it's sell by date. The actual model was a 2017 item.
New PC old Hard Drive
My wife bought me a Gaming PC from these guys through Amazon for my christmas 3 years ago, had a few issues which i have to say got sorted fairly quick, my problem with these guys is that i have recently just checked some of my HDDs for errors using a reliable piece of software, when i noticed something strange on my D: drive which was the 1TB HDD that came with the PC, i notice that the total runtime 47645 hours, which is nearly 5 and a half years, while the C: drive is the 256GB SSD is only 4408 which is nearly 6 months so i have a hard drive that has been running for 5 years longer than i have had the PC.
Nowhere in the description did it say that it was using reconditioned Hard drives. i checked the serial number for the HDD and it looks like it came from a DELL computer.
My advice to all who have bought a PC from these guys get software that can check the runtime of your HDDs, if it doesnt add up, get onto them.
Refund Confirmed Multiple Times, Payment Never Arrived
I purchased a 16GB RAM module that stopped working and returned it promptly. The return was confirmed as delivered on 24 November. What followed was over a month of repeated excuses, delays, and broken promises regarding a simple refund.
Initially, I was told the refund was processed. Then I was told there was a system error. Later, I was informed that a refund couldn’t be issued through eBay anymore and was pushed toward a replacement instead. When I insisted on a refund, I was asked for my bank details for a manual payment — which again never materialised.
From late November through the end of December, I repeatedly chased for updates. Each response blamed something different: Black Friday, system errors, high message volume, sickness, the holiday season, or accounting delays. Despite being told multiple times that the refund was “being processed” or would arrive “in the next couple of days,” no refund was ever received.
In the end, communication simply stopped. For such a small amount, the time and effort wasted was disproportionate and extremely frustrating. Mistakes happen — but transparency, accountability, and follow-through matter. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this seller. Reliable after-sales support is just as important as the product itself, and this was seriously lacking.
this is an update of my review on 15 Jan 26:
After nearly seven weeks, I finally received the refund and an apology, giving me a reason to consider using them again.
Great value and customer support
Bought a gaming PC from them recently and had some trouble getting it to connect to my monitor, spoke to Tom from customer support who was friendly and told me what the issue was and how to solve it.
The solution worked perfectly and the PC is great, fantastic value for money.
Highly recommend for pre-built PCs and good customer service.
waste of time and money
Bought a 4TB HDD - it killed my NAS, got a replacement, which did not work at all - cut my losses and bought from another store - they get old hardware, give it a dust off and sell to the public - wate of money

Do not in any way trust this company
Do not in any way trust this company, please don't buy a PC from Doctor Memory as I did... you will regret it.
I purchased a game PC for my daughter from Doctor Memory in Jan 2024, which was bundled with Windows 10. In October 2025 all Microsoft support stops on Windows 10, so we tried to update the system to Windows 11. However, we were not able to do so.
I called in a PC specialist, who ran diagnostics on the system, the results were shocking:
The system was only 18 months old, but the CPU put into the PC was over 13 years old, produced back in 2012! The hard drive was also very old and the PC specialist was shocked as to who would sell a system with such old components.
In less than 20 month from purchase, the PC would be obsolete and we will be unable to use it, through risk of security issues.
I emailed Doctor Memory asking why this system had old components in it, rendering it unusable in less than 2 years. They did not reply.
I anticipate they will respond to this feedback with some excuse or lie... but I can assure you, that we paid the then market price for this system in 2024 and at not point did they indicate that the system could not be upgraded to Windows 11... needless to say, they also never mentioned that the internal components were originally designed to run Windows 8 back in 2013!!!
If you purchase anything from Doctor Memory, expect it to be old technology, branded as new, bundled with lies and deceit.

Fantastic service
We ordered a PC for my son through Amazon thinking it was direct from amazon, not realising it was from Dr Mem, but I can't praise their service enough. We had an issue setting up the PC and called their support line. A staff member patiently stayed on the phone with us for over an hour, guiding us step by step through the process. Despite their patience and our lack of experience, we couldn’t resolve the problem. However, they promptly arranged for the PC to be collected the next day. It was fixed and sent back a couple of days later.
Communication has been excellent throughout the entire process. I'll definitely be ordering my other son’s PC from them, as I truly can’t fault their service. Highly recommended!

I purchased my gaming PC a couple of years ago and recently encountered a frustrating issue with the wireless Wi-Fi connection—I couldn’t connect no matter what I tried. I even reinstalled Windows, but the problem persisted. Fortunately, I was able to connect via Ethernet and reached out to Doctor Memory's IT support line. The staff member I spoke with was incredibly helpful and patient, guiding me through the process of logging into my machine and resolving the issue. I had to call multiple times, but each time they were just as supportive and accommodating.

Shambles
Ordered 4 x sticks of 8gb ram via eBay. Once the Ram arrived and I installed it my PC performed no better so I checked the installed ram and found they had sent 4gb sticks.
Asked if they actually had 8gb ram, and re-ordered with the assurance it would be checked before dispatch. The 4x sticks of ram then received appeared to be 8gb each, but one was faulty.
Sent back the initial order and they claimed to only have received half of it so only refunded 50%.
Sent the wrong goods, Sent faulty goods, have lied about what was returned.
I will not be using them again, if bad luck arrives in threes at least I should be in the clear for a while now.
Fingers crossed they will actually replace the faulty stick from the second order and not mess that up too

Purchased gaming pc for my 11 year old
Purchased gaming pc for my 11 year old. Fantastic support as I was not sure what I had really got until I had some conversations and they guided me to the right choice. Still honoured discount, had a few other questions about other equipment they guided me on. Very quick responses on email. Quick shipping and well packaged.
The PC is really good come all ready installed with windows 11 no issues so far but Im sure If we have they will be on hand to assist if needed. Will 100% recommend. Top service and support.
Frustratingly slow.
Ordered a keyboard and mouse for my young son on 30th September 23 and still yet to receive it. Royal Mail tracking doesn’t work at all so have no idea when to expect it. Have queried and been told I should expect it by Wednesday, if I do I will update my review accordingly. Frustrating to order something so basic and not have it 10 days later though.
I bought a pc on 28th November 2022…
Edit.. dr memory have asked for details to prove I am a customer that has bought a pc I have sent them it now 2 times they clearly don’t like bad reviews and I have a open case with consumer rights ombudsman uk
I bought a pc on 28th November 2022 with 1 year guaranteed warranty and it was not a cheap pc ,on 3rd may the pc started with error codes and would not turn on, it was sent off to be repaired came back after a week and half with all the same problems so within 2 days it went back and I asked for a replacement pc and that was approved and sent out to us within 2 days, the replacement pc had damaged ports and I could not get internet on it and had to buy a usb adapter for the Ethernet wire to to allow internet then it stoped working again, upon this dr memory arranged for the pc to be collected again 4 days after receiving the new one we then received a pc that was just like the one we ordered but with upgraded bits in as we was told some stuff were been changed, to then get a phone call today stating that are pc had not been sent out yet and we had received some one else’s pc I want a full refund as it’s been 4 weeks of none stop problems and they have made a very big mistake now but am told I’m not entitled to a refund…I don’t advise anyone to buy from this company I will never use this company again I’m considering going to trading standards as this is not right what is happening
