Terrible customer service can't even…

Terrible customer service can't even validate my full license Ive benn under review like 5 months the go car company much better should just close your business if you cant run it like the go car service absolutely disgraceful what customers get put through no direct phone your call is forwarded to a call centre

Exceptional rental service

This service is exceptional- the customer service is clear and professional. I called the help hotline a few times when we had questions on the road and they answered immediately and were very helpful. The whole process was extremely easy. My sister and I road tripped around Ireland - this is the best service for a last minute trip where you may not have an international driver’s license organised or have a credit card with you. Highly recommend.

Very good service

I had trouble finding the car, it was inside of a car park but the position in the app brought me to the street behind it. Also, it was a multiple floors car park but no where in the app does it say in which floor it is. Called customer service for help, they were unnecessarily rude but really quick and clear.
After that, everything went nice and smooth. The car was in excellent conditions and super clean, had no issues with it and everything else was really easy and the app had clear instructions. Had a 10 euro discount as it was my first time booking with them which made the car rental cheaper than if had reached my destination by bus. Totally recommended and I will book with them again

Arrogant and cheap

I have been charged 50 euros for a mistake of the customer service agent and it was never returned back multiple emails back and forth Didn’t help in getting the money back.ciaran was the arrogant agent who I was in contact with the whole process .go car is way better and user friendly than drive you

Absolutely Nightmare avoit this…

Absolutely Nightmare avoit this company special if you are not irish (don't mather if you have irish icence if you are born in another country don't loose your time) have waited 3-4 days for Licence validation i have lost all other booking and money becouse of them and they reply that my licence didn't pass our software filter and when we reviewed the application, it failed another one of our proprietory checks . There don't answer what is the reason of that do people avoid this company they probably use the driver licence information for other things.

These are for both insurance and protection of the car sharing service. This is why sometimes an application review can take a little longer than we would like. We do state in our terms and conditions that: We reserve the right to refuse to provide the Services to you in our absolute discretion and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard. We are not sure what money or bookings you may have lost off the back of this.

Absolutely Nightmare car sharing…

Absolutely Nightmare car sharing company!
I booked a car for 1st time for 24hours and barely been able to use it. The car just suddenly stopped completely while at traffic light - motor, no power, ignition gone, nothing worked. Completely dead!
Called the hotline who told me to call AA!! what the joke. It is Your car responsibility and should have called them for me to assist.
Could not even put the warning lights on as nothing was working.
AA arrived 3.5 hours later and did a jump start as the battery was completely dead and recommended to drop the car back.
So out of the 24 hours rental, I was able to have the car for about 1hour.
Wasted the whole evening, energy, money and spoiled my evening and next planned day with a newish car that did not even function correctly!!
Called your office again to get a full refund, still with a useless person on the phone who said someone will get back....
Never had any issues with the other car sharing company.
Absolutely utterly bitter about this experience and I do NOT recommend this car sharing company.

Crazy crazy overcharges E300 E 200. E290 ( orig booking) Car driven for few mins

Oooooh. Beware. !!!! I hired a car ( petrol) but in error ,, diesel was put in ,,, But normally the Diesel pouring nossle will not fit into petrol tank filling space ,, so !!? Faulty something i guess. ,,, My Son was helping me then ,, as I went to bathroom , called DriveYou Office as i asked,, but now i am charged E200 extra for unaughorised Driver and E300 re Diesel fill error. Eh. Eh. DriveYou App says Fill car with Gas !!! But its petrol car ,, hence error - confusion And they also Rd fuse to refund actual Car hire fee E390. , they had promised to when car didnt drive properly. Then No consultation. ,, just extra charges. A Whif of / Smells of ,, eh ,, eh ,,

Great Customer Service

Great Customer Service! we needed a van quickly and Ciaran in their their Operations team kindly reviewed my wife’s Drivers Licence id within 2 hours which was greatly appreciated as we were delayed moving house and needed the van that evening to finish the move in time! The van was new and clean. Great experience overall.

No refund back, bad customer service

The car was fine and exactly the same as the others' shared driving companies. However, they don't know how to gain new customers. If you have any issue with the car, they will not give your money back, but instead, a voucher to use at another time. In Summary, you will have to spend more with them. I chose them to try as they are new in the market and are giving a discount for the first use. However, when I arrived to get the car that I reserved in advance, the car did not unlock and then I finished the journey, so the total journey was less than 3 minutes. As I had an appointment due, I immediately booked and paid it again and the car unlocked this time. However, I paid for this 2nd trip without the discount as it was used on the first trip which did not happen (less than 3 min trip I expected that their system would recognise that there was an issue there). Later, when I contacted the call centre to sort it out, they said that was my fault and they did not give a refund for any of the 2 trips that I paid for! They gave me only vouchers to be used on a 3rd trip. In summary, I paid 4 times more than the price that I paid initially with the discount. This is not the smart way to gain new customers at all! I had issues with other shared driving companies as I constantly use this kind of service and I never felt myself being stolen like this time that I used Driveyou. Other shared driving companies refund the customer without stress, quickly and are much smarter as they know how to make a customer happy and continue using their cars. I strongly do not recommend Driveyou. Unless you are looking for stress and want to pay much more for the same service that others already provide.
