Car quality is the worst I have ever seen and I have tears of rental experience Car had mileage over 72 I and apparently was used by extensive smokers before. Neither could they change the car nor could they clean the car professionally and thoroughly . I have had it with this provider and first experience will be lest experience! This business is owned by credit agricole they definitely have no clue how to run a successful car rental business;
Wrong car, hidden fees and large delays
Booked a Kia ceed Estate or equivalent via a Jet2 holiday. Got to the office and the car wasn't ready for nearly 3 hours so had to go back to the airport and wait. When we hot back they only had a SEAT Arona (400l luggage space Vs 625 for the Kia. They clearly don't have an estate cars and didn't care.
Also, despite paying for additional insurance with the booking through Jet2 , we get the pressure sale of insurance and "oh you won't have the same cover" and we need €2500 deposit.
The whole thing felt like a scam and I would advise anyone to avoid this company and stick with the large car rental business. Also avoid booking this through Jet2 who did not care when we called them asking how we were supposed to get our family to our villa.

Where is my deposit?
I had to wait over an hour for my booked car and was then forced to pay extra cover that i had already paid.
This included a final 100 euro which i was told would be returned on returning the car.
On returning the car with no damage i was told the deposit would be refunded to my credit card later. This was early October. I phoned to ask them why the money had not been transferred a few weeks later and was promised it would be sent. That was over 2 months ago. I can only believe they do this all the time. I believe them to be dishonest.
Drivalia asked me to tell them more and when they received more from me i received a message saying they would respond within 40 working hours! 9 days later after no response from them i messaged them again and received the same message that they would respond in 40 working hours. A month later and no response.
This company obviously has no intention to refund my 100 euros and i wonder how many customers of this dishonest company have similar unanswered complaints.

Bruno is number one for customer service
We were met at Faro airport by the Drivalia rep and he brought to the depot. We picked the car up and 4 days later dropped it off at Lisbon airport. The airport drop off is, unfortunately about 7-8km from the airport. However, once we were given directions, and on our way, everything was fine until it wasn't! A few wrong turns and we knew there was no possibility of arriving by closing time/check in by 8pm. While my wife drove frantically I phoned the depot and spoke to a young man (I think his name was Bruno) and he basically said "don't panic, if you are not far away I will wait for you." We arrived 20 minutes late and hadn't yet filled up with gas. Bruno showed us where the station provided gas and all was good. Bruno then advised us (we are both 70+) that it would be unwise to take public transport back into Lisbon on a Friday evening, and instead he called us an Uber which cost the same as the subway. Full marks and hats off to Bruno
