Booked a European river cruise just…

Booked a European river cruise just before COVID hit through Brain Wilkinson. It was canceled due to travel restrictions. Never received a refund but was told that this travell agent would hold on to approximately 15,000.00 dollars and will book at a later date.Make a long story short, The Dream vacation agent booked a new date that we were unable to make due to a family wedding. He was told that but refused to change our date even though there were three other dates avaliable. We would also lose our cabin on the ship that we booked the first time which was an upgrade on this date he picked. The reason he picked this date was because he was going with us and my friends and it sounded like this was the date his boy friend could go for free due to a deal he got with the cruise line. So after waiting almost two years, my wife and I did not get to go. Brain also nicely turned our friends againt us so he would not get the blame. He would not help to get my money back. Now the big kicker, I contacted Dream Vacations in Florida for help with this disasterist Agent and was told that they would not and could not help because Brain Wilkinson was a contractor for Drean Vacations and they were not responsible for him. I will never book with any travel agencies who are tied to Drean Vacations.

The user interface is horribly outdated…

The user interface is horribly outdated and complicated. It's not intuitive, and it feels like a bad website from the early days of the internet.
The so-called "knowledge base" often has outdated or incomplete information that doesn't really answer any questions, leaving you to reach out to customer service. Chat is inefficient, so the only reliable support has been by phone.
Headquarters bombards you with marketing emails, many of them way too long, and keeping up with all their news, success stories, promos, IT-related maintenance, etc., is a full-time job on its own.
The salesperson was so outstanding that I totally fell for how great Dream Vacation Franchise is, but the reality settled in as soon as we did the ridiculously redundant training.
Your assigned "business consultant" is just a glorified, underperforming customer success manager.
If you're looking to make money with a franchise, do yourself a favor and turn down this one.
