So had my machine since November 2025, worked fine. great even. But slowly started to have issues getting into the Dock, the legs for getting up steps would get stuck and suction stopped being as effective.
Ran through the customer services process, resetting/cleaning etc. Then was told to send the Vacuum away to the service center. It arrived on the 23rd February. I was told 7-14days in total. No other contact, if you email them you'll get an automated email reply (AI just changing the name at the bottom every so often).
Currently they don't know where it is, the service center isn't even replying to them. I keep getting automated replies saying it was escalated and i'd have to wait longer. I have asked for a refund as I don't want to deal with them again.
If it worked it would be great, but long term quality is missing (I have an old iRobot that is still chugging away).

I have written numerous email asking to either deliver the product or return money. There is no response from the company. Just checked my emails, there were 8.

My vacuum cleaner was sent to Dreame’s service centre on February 16 for repair and I was told the repair would take around 9–10 days. It has now been almost a month and I still have not received my vacuum cleaner back or any clear information about what is happening.
Customer support keeps replying with generic messages saying they are “waiting for an update from the technical team”, but no real solution is provided. I have asked for either my repaired vacuum, a replacement, or a refund, but so far nothing has been resolved.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. When you buy an expensive appliance, you expect reliable after-sales service. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dreame due to the very slow and unhelpful warranty support.
Bought the Dreame D15 Plus from Amazon…
Bought the Dreame D15 Plus from Amazon this last Xmas (2025) and used it probably about a dozen times before starting to get a “Laser Distance Sensor” error repeatedly. Now the thing won’t start a clean as the error keeps popping up. I tried all troubleshooting available online but not resolve. There is definitely nothing jammed in the unit that would be causing this.
Very unsatisfied with the product for a supposedly up and coming company. 10-12 times being used should not result in any errors.

Worst support service EVER!
Worst support service EVER!! Purchased the Dreame L40 Pro Ultra robot vacuum in October and February this just stopped working within 1.30 minutes into its vacuum. Unless you lifted and put the robot back onto the casing would not switch on. Support email would always start with thank you for your email and sincerely apologise for the delay, support were supplied with a video and all details as this was still in warranty. Was completely ghosted and regardless how many times I reached out for an update no response. Reading other feedback it appears I am not the only person this has happened too! Worst company ever ‘DO NOT by from this company!!
In the end I went back to JB Hi Fi and offered refund or swap….yep swap but definitely not Dreame…..should be called Nightmare as certainly not. Dreame!!

I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience with Dreame.
I purchased a Dreame L40 Ultra less than a year ago, and it has already developed a hardware issue. When I contacted support, they told me the only option was to send the entire unit back for repair, which they said could take 3–4 weeks. This is a primary cleaning appliance in my home, and being without it for that long is not a reasonable solution.
I asked if they could send a replacement unit first (a cross-ship replacement), or if there were any faster options available. Instead, I keep receiving responses telling me to send the unit back and wait, even though the device is still under warranty and failed within the first year.
It’s frustrating to spend this much money on a premium robot vacuum and then be told that the solution is to go without it for a month. At this point, I regret choosing Dreame over other brands.
Buyers should be aware that if your unit has a hardware issue, you may be expected to ship the entire device back and wait several weeks for resolution.

I originally had dreame l40 ultra, not even a month later had to return because it had so many problems. I "Upraded" (wasn't an upgrade at all, just more money and less features). to dreame l40s. Just under 2 months this one had a lot of issues. They offered a refund or return it for 80% of purchase price. REALLY-Less than 2 months old and wouldn't give full refund. I chose to take the hit and get 80% and be done with this company
Dreame L30 Ultra S
Purchased a Dreame L30 Ultra S robo vac, within 7 months it faulted and was sent away for repairs; neither myself nor JB HI-FI were advised as to what the issue actually was or even if it had been repaired. The item came back with additional issues and the front of the unit is now covered in scratches and chunks taken out of the paint due to their mishandling (of which they've tried to blame on AusPost).
I've attempted to connect with them via phone calls but they never answer and their phone system will disconnect any call after 5 minutes of waiting on hold. Their chat support is absolutely useless as they are not able to do anything themselves besides submit a ticket.
I've requested callbacks and have yet to receive them and even though I've been approved for a free replacement - mind you I was only offered that after I threatened and proceeded to report them to Consumer Affairs, upon trying to confirm if it will be a brand new unit of the same make and model - SEALED I have not gotten a response for nearly a week. Do not buy from this company - they are absolutely atrocious to deal with.

Initially it was recommended by a lot of positive videos online and as allegedly meant to be best value for money. First robot was broken. Took them two weeks to sent replacement. Now water tanks is leaking and it's been promised new one but after 4 weeks nothing happening. Cleaning is okay but often losing its position. I would suggest to try something else than Dreame.

I am extremely disappointed with Dreame’s customer service.
I requested a repair for my Dreame X40 Ultra on November 28, 2025, and sent the machine to the support center a few days later. It was returned to me on December 30 — one month for a repair, which I accepted. However, during that entire period, I received no updates. I had to email them myself just to confirm they had received my machine. Considering this is a very expensive product, that lack of communication was already concerning.
When the machine arrived back at my home, the vacuum itself was functioning, but the main dock exterior was broken and visibly damaged. It was returned to me in worse physical condition than when I sent it.
Customer service offered to have me send it back again, but after the long wait and poor communication, I no longer trusted the process and did not want to risk further damage. Instead, I asked for a simple form of compensation — any small accessory, even a small detergent.
Every basic accessory I requested was “out of stock.” It took months to finally agree on three simple dust bags as compensation. During this time, I constantly had to chase the support team for updates because weeks would pass without any response or confirmation.
After three to four months of this exhausting process, I finally received the package — and it contained only ONE dust bag instead of three.
At that point, it honestly felt like a joke.
I love my Dreame X40 Ultra. The product itself is excellent. But the customer service experience has been extremely disrespectful, disorganized, and unprofessional. For a premium brand, this level of support is unacceptable.
I hope this review helps other customers understand what they may face if something goes wrong.

My experience with Dreame’s customer service has been absolutely abysmal and stands as one of the worst support interactions I’ve ever had with any company.
For more than three months, Dreame has failed to provide even the most basic level of customer support. Their only consistent response has been the same copy‑and‑paste message claiming my case was “escalated to a specialist team.” This so‑called escalation happened multiple times—yet no one ever followed up, no one ever provided a solution, and no one ever addressed the actual warranty issue.
After months of silence and non‑answers, Dreame finally contacted me—but not to resolve the problem. Instead, they attempted to upsell me a new unit, offering an X50 Master for €879, a price higher than what I can buy locally. I even provided them with the cheaper Swiss retailer listing, yet they still pushed their overpriced “special offer” as if it were a favor.
This isn’t customer support.
This is predatory upselling disguised as assistance.
Throughout this ordeal, Dreame has delivered:
No repair
No replacement
No refund
No meaningful response whatsoever
Only an overpriced upsell completely disconnected from the actual problem
Their lack of action has had real-world consequences. Due to their delays and refusal to resolve the issue, I even had to tell our cabinet maker to cancel the space reserved for the Dreame unit in a new home build—a sale Dreame permanently lost because they couldn’t manage a simple warranty case.
I provided Dreame with clear, reasonable options:
a complimentary replacement, a refund, or a competitively priced replacement.
Instead, they offered template apologies, repeated “escalation” messages, and a link to purchase a new machine at a worse price than my local market.
Dreame’s behavior shows a clear pattern:
Ignore the customer, avoid accountability, and then try to sell them something else at a higher price.
If you value post‑purchase service, transparency, or basic respect as a customer, I strongly advise you to reconsider buying anything from Dreame. Their customer service is unresponsive, unhelpful, and utterly unwilling to resolve legitimate warranty issues.
I will be sharing this experience across review platforms and submitting formal complaints to the appropriate consumer‑protection authorities. No customer should go through this.
Avoid Dreame. Their products may work—but when they don’t, you’re on your own.

The actual product is spot on. However, this review is not about the product, it's about the customer service and service repair I have received since.
About 16 months after the hoover was purchased, the motor had gone on it. The robot hoover and base unit was sent back to DREAME. All this was fine and the customer service was going smoothly.
However the issue arose when they sent the hoover back to me with dislodged plastic panels on the hoover - as if it had been dropped or not correctly put back together again. The panelling scratched on the front face of the base unit and worse still, the on/off button jammed so I couldn't even turn it on.
The unit went back to them and after 16 days of them having it, retuned the unit in exactly the same condition with only them replacing the chrome face panel but leaving the jammed button and dislodged plastic panelling on the hoover.
They encourage you to take photos of all aspects of what you are sending for repair so I know full well all of these issues occurred in their care.
Disguising and I am yet to await another response from customer services why they thought it was acceptable to send a robot hoover back to me without it being fixed.

After the order was put the shipment never arrived. Over 3 months of mail conversation with many days without replies. Then all of a sudden you cannot ship my order and just refund me my money instead of shipping me the items that I bought on Black Friday. The response that ”you can just place a new order” but the price is not the same anymore. Some e-mails where replied in English, some German and some Italian although I have only written in English. The entire experience have been very frustrating and I would avoid this company at all cost.

I am extremely disappointed with this company’s customer service and product quality. I purchased a brand-new Dreame 10 in June 2025, and the detergent tray has already proven faulty. This is now the second time I’ve had to send it in for repair. On both occasions, it took more than two weeks for the company to even acknowledge receipt of the product, let alone begin repairs.
Attempting to contact customer support has been incredibly frustrating. Their phone line only connects to an automated message claiming high call volumes, then disconnects after about eight minutes. The online chat provides only generic automated responses, and emails go unanswered.
At this point, I have lost confidence in both the product and the company. I would prefer to return it and purchase a replacement from a brand with reliable customer service and support.

The official Dreame service center took a vacuum cleaner worth €1300 and issued a replacement certificate in exchange. However, Dreame’s own official representatives are now refusing to provide a new device based on that certificate.
Customer support responds with complete nonsense — either not properly understanding the clearly described situation, or pretending not to understand what the issue is about.
