I put the correct dates but chose the wrong ,month and when I asked to amend the booking within 1 hr of making it to be informed that no changes are allowed, If there was a small admin fee I would be happy to pay. I now have booking I cannot use and cannot change as there is no one to speak to all done online.
How many make this same mistake and get ripped off DYS?
Thanks for the reply, I have contacting DYS as you suggested to be told it’s complicated and they cannot really help me but told me to contact the hire company Click rent when I eventually spoke to them I was told the same thing they cannot help and advised to contact DYS, total waste of time….

We booked and pre paid for our rental prior to arrival at Malaga Airport. At the rental desk we were required to pay an additional €375 insurance cover for the rental or we could not rent the vehicle. This was not mentioned in the booking and a considerable loss to our holiday funds. KEEP AWAY.

SCAMMED - Do not hire car here through Thrifty. We hired a car for a week from Girona airport. Left the car back full of fuel as advised but when we got home they had debited my card for full tank of fuel. I had kept the fuel receipt and took a photo of the tank full when returned but I got no help

**AVOID THIS COMPANY**
We hired a vehicle from OK Mobility at Alicante Airport through *DoYouSpain* in the UK. As part of the booking, OK Mobility requested our flight details so they could monitor any delays.
Unfortunately, our flight was delayed by three hours. As soon as we knew about the delay, we messaged OK Mobility to let them know we would be arriving late. We received no response. We believed that, if necessary, we would simply have to pay an out-of-hours collection fee.
When we finally arrived at Alicante Airport at around 2:00 a.m., the OK Mobility office was closed and there was nobody there. While waiting outside, several other families, including those with young children, also arrived to collect their vehicles and found themselves in exactly the same situation.
With no assistance, no communication and no way of collecting the car we had already paid for, we had no choice but to hire another vehicle from Goldcar, whose office was still open.
Our original booking with OK Mobility cost us €80. However, because they failed to provide the vehicle we had paid for, we were forced to spend an additional €255 to hire a replacement car from Goldcar, as well as paying for a full tank of fuel. This was a significant and completely unnecessary extra expense that we should never have had to incur.
When we contacted OK Mobility the following day, we were told that because we had not collected the vehicle, we would not receive any refund. This is completely unacceptable. They had our flight details, they knew our flight had been delayed, we had also informed them directly that we would be arriving late, yet they made no attempt to contact us or ensure someone was available.
We will be taking this matter further, as we believe we paid for a service that was simply not provided. We have been left out of pocket through no fault of our own.
I would strongly advise anyone considering using OK Mobility at Alicante Airport to think carefully before booking. Our experience was extremely disappointing, the lack of communication was unacceptable, and their customer service has been appalling from start to finish.
Why do you ask customers to provide their flight details if you are simply going to ignore them? We provided our flight information so you could monitor any delays, exactly as requested. As soon as we became aware that our flight was delayed, we also sent you a text message to inform you. Despite this, we received no response, no communication, and no assistance whatsoever.
If you have no intention of monitoring flight delays or contacting customers when their flights are delayed, then there is no purpose in asking for these details in the first place. Your complete lack of communication left us stranded on arrival and forced us to make alternative arrangements at considerable additional expense.

We rented a car from Valencia airport 12th -17th june 2026. Pick up and drop off was fine.
WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED AN EXTRA £76 ON MY VISA CARD WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION!!!
The car was returned un-damaged and with a full tank of petrol.
WE PRE-ORDERED A FOCUS BUT WAS ONLY OFFERED A SMALLER KUGA!!
NO RESPONSE FROM HERTZ or DO YOU SPAIN!!!

I booked a Yamaha XMAX 250cc through Doyouspain, but the local supplier, Jota Cafe Motorbike Ibiza, failed to provide the vehicle I had paid for. Instead, I received a much smaller SYM 125cc without any prior notice. I only accepted it because I was promised a replacement the following day, but nobody ever contacted me again and my WhatsApp messages were ignored. On top of that, my €300 security deposit has still not been refunded after more than 10 days. I expected Doyouspain to work with reliable local partners, but unfortunately this experience seriously affected my holiday.

WARNING: you pay the service here not the car rental!
I have had the worst possible experience with this company. I completed the booking for 8 days and because of the good rate I also booked the insurance. On arrival at the real CAR RENTAL Co. I was told to pay 3 times the total amout I already paid to DoYouSpain.com . I refused to take the car, claimed from DoYouSpain and got NOTHING! Croocked and definately a fake scheme, hiding their intentions in the small print down the contracts. Do NOT use their services! Ulrich Scheller, Hamburg, Germany

I paid for a car online received my voucher and presented this along with my credit card at the desk, I was told I couldn’t use my card to leave a charge against it because the numbers were not embossed a situation which left us scrambling around Malaga airport to find another car, we had used the same credit card three weeks earlier in Portugal very disappointing and as yet no refund
