I just opened the box and while the shoes are adorable, I immediately noticed how bad the quality is! It’s shocking to see the heel already starting to separate and small details are already frayed. I spent a lot of money on these shoes as a splurge and I am extremely disappointed. Will not be buying again

First time ordering from Double Standard and I was not disappointed. The Texas Heel - Brown in size 9, I am normally an 8.5 and these fit perfect. They are also great quality and comfortable for walking around NYC. I also got some jewelry and for the price they are both good quality. Will definitely be buying more from Double Standard soon.

The fact that they still have decent reviews is crazy. I have been in a multi-month long debate with their email team. They sent me the wrong pair of shoes, then sent the correct pair, told me I could return them, then backtracked. They are a SCAM y'all. The items they sell you are on other websites for less than half the cost they’re charging you. Do NOT order from this company.

The ballet sneakers are super cute, but everything else was terrible. I ordered my regular size (US 9) originally, but they were too small. I reached out to do a return, as they don’t offer exchanges. I sent the shoes back as instructed and never received any sort of refund for over 2 months, despite the warehouse confirming they received the shoes. Customer service was responsive, but ultimately did nothing to help the situation, so I was forced to file a dispute with my credit card company, which they accepted. I still wanted the shoes in the right size, so I ordered a new pair 1 size up. The shoes came quickly and fit well! Unfortunately, after the fourth wear (no marathon running or hiking, all I did was walk around and go shooping) all of the beads on the left shoe completely came loose and fell off. I’m hesitant to reach out again due to my last experience with their customer service, but its been less than a month (slightly longer than their 14 day return policy however). In my opinion, $160 shoes should last me more than 4 wears.

Though I think they are pretty pricey for the materials, the style is up^^^^. Also, there is no reason for me to think the quality will make them wear out too soon, but that price is when shoes start entering the real leather realm, which these are not real leather. Mocha ballet flats are very cute.

I recently got a Yellow Heart Preciosa Ring—it was my first purchase from Double Standard, and I’m new to wearing jewelry. I usually find it annoying and don’t like how it looks on me—but not this ring! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and haven’t taken it off since. I love it so much that I wear it every day, and I’ve already received so many compliments! This was my first purchase from Double Standard, but definitely not my last. I’ll be back for more!!! <333

Shoes are soooo cute but I wish there were 1/2 sizes! I’m a solid 7.5 and chose a 7 bc I saw that they run big.. they’re too snug on me :(

My order came quickly and the shoes were even cuter in person than the pictures! The quality of everything I ordered is good, and I am so exciting for these new pieces in my wardrobe - love love!! Will be ordering again

I love their products! Their customer service is great as well, they have assisted me with my inquiries and was very patient and helpful.

This company is run by crooks. They are drop-shipping clothes from China.
I bought a pair of ballet sneakers from them a few months ago, and after a month of waiting (they came from China; when I tracked my order I saw they were using a shipping service from China to USA) , I was sorely disappointed with the shoes. The shoes were obviously poor quality - they smelled of plastic when opened and the coloring (which was unevenly applied to begin with) started chipping off almost immediately, among other issues; the material on the inside has started disintegrating after a few months wear as well. These are not a $150 pair of shoes.
I should have investigated more. It turns out, a quick google search will show that these exact same shoes are available on Aliexpress. This company is sourcing their items from Aliexpress. Avoid at all costs.

I visited the Double Standard website a couple times before buying
anything and finally caved for a pair of the Ballet sneakers (as I saw them all
over my IG feed, LOL) and been legit wearing them everyday since. Not only are
they comfortable but I can genuinely wear them all the time and all situations.
Been getting tons of compliments for them too. Love you DS, I recommend!!!

Any advise for me. I just got ordered from this website but when I trying to track it says that abnormal delivery no other reason indicated. I am afraid that I can't accept the parcel. What to do been trying to contact them too their email but until now I didn't receive any update to them.

awful experience. the size was not correct, and the delivery was late so the 'gift' was useless and late and now i have to pay to exchange a size because they misadvertised on their website. the shoe itself looks cheap as hell considering they were $150. do not buy from here.. total waste of my money. i urge others to THINK VERY HARD about ordering from a company with misadvertised sizes, but will only give you a credit when you point out the sizes do not even match what is advertised. never in my life have i had worse customer service. better off to drop your money down the toilet. itd be less infuriating. they think money grows on trees.

Seriously the worst customer service I have ever received. It’s says NYC in the brand name but ships from China. Website said 1 week shipping but they lied. It took way long so I contacted them and USPS, both who took forever to write me back. Even when their team wrote me they didn’t even try to help contact the carrier. The package was “delivered” in three weeks while I was on vacation and no one was home to receive it. Now they refuse to refund me even though by the time I got back from vacation my package was gone. They do not care about customer service.
