It's a nice green+quiet park on walking distance from the sea & beautiful wide beach (with beach bars).
Also on driving distance from interesting places as Sluis, Damme, Knokke and Brugge.

Great location, easy acces to the slopes.

Everything is great. Nice location, nice house. We had the kids comfort.

Great room, very large and well appointed. Staff went out of there to be helpful. We stayed at three different places during our trip, this was the best one.

The location of the resort is beautiful at the lake with a view at Hallstatt and the mountains. The accommodation was nice as well as the restaurant, swimming pool, fitness etc.

Our stay at Dormio apartments turned into a stressful experience instead of a relaxing vacation. We chose these apartments specifically because they offered a sauna, which, according to the Booking.com listing, was available for an additional fee. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the booked house did not have a sauna.

The Dormio reception staff suggested we switch to another house with a sauna. We agreed, but they explained that the change required Booking.com to send a request for free cancellation of the first booking. We checked into the new house, paid for it, and expected a refund for the first booking.

Unfortunately, Dormio’s customer service rejected Booking.com’s request for free cancellation of the first house, without even reviewing the details we had discussed with their reception staff. As a result, we were charged a cancellation fee for the first apartment, even though this issue should have been resolved without any additional costs on our part.

I tried to resolve the situation at the reception and through Dormio’s customer service, but all attempts were in vain. Dormio showed complete indifference to the situation, left us without support, and forced us to pay the cancellation fee for their mistake.

My vacation turned into a loss of time, money, and peace of mind. I strongly advise against choosing Dormio apartments due to their poor service and lack of responsibility.

Small holidaypark on great location, close to the dunes and within walking distance of the village. Cosy nice cottages with a good lay out. Furniture could use an upgrade to comfort level.

Had a great weekend here with my friends! This accommodation is luxurious (we had the wellness facility) and well maintained. Lots of things to do and to see in the area.

Great holiday cottage with own terrace and a bathroom with each of the two double bedrooms.
The park is uniquely located at the shore of the lake, providing great views. We loved to visit the tourist highlights nearby, but also appreciated the direct surroundings of the park. Surprisingly the village Obertraun has hardly anything to offer, so we were glad to use the tasty services of the restaurant on the park and be able to buy the most necessary groceries in the mini-market.
Once having visited the obvious and nearby attractions, you'll find yourself in a quite isolated location; be prepared for longer travels if you want more. Luckily enough, the trainstation is only five minutes walk away and bus services stop at park entrance.

Telephone-contact a bit difficult (number not correct), however very nice location, good price quality, practical accommodation, plenty of restaurants around and Sluis very nice little town worthwhile visiting.

Overall the resort location is excellent, also the chalet is very comfortable. Overall the environment is excellent

Location: rural, quite, natural. Reception: uncomplicated and professional, they had all my information and relied on it. No unnecessary questions. Also, when leaving, no complications, just a simple: 'Was everything all right?'. It was.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay in and would suggest it to friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dormio Resort Obertraun, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Friendly personnel, nice location with sufficient facilities. Very relaxing geography.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for the last 4 summers and unfortunately this is going to be the last one. Feels like now that they were “discovered” and have to operate in full capacity, the service has gone downhill. And pretty badly. The room I’m in right now has no air conditioning (well, it has, but not working) and is 33 degrees C outside. After 3 hours and 3 times having to go to reception (forget about them answering the phone…) and one visit from the “technician” to do absolutely nothing, the receptionist, Mabel, refuses to change our room. She limits to say the technician will come again with a fake smile on her face. Is 8pm and I’m pretty sure nothing will be done and I’ll have to sleep drenched in sweat. And no one to resort to, just one unprepared and unprofessional receptionist that just don’t care. Avoid at all cost and same as me, try to find a better alternative in the area

beautiful accommodation for families. Quietly located, right on the beach. Close to Alicante and other towns for fun evenings.
