Horrific customer service

Horrific customer service. I purchased a bed from Dorel homes in 2023. I received an email from them in dec 2024 saying the bed is under voluntary recall as it has to be installed by a professional mounter. I was asked to find mounters to install the bed and i have found 2 companies who have given me quotes for the job. Dorel home has refused to pay for this professional installation and have also refused to send a professional mounter of their choice.

I was not notified about delivery date and time. Delivery was dumped on the ground floor with no consideration of how I would get it into my flat

I was not notified about the order getting delivered on the day my order arrived. Luckily I was working from home. The delivery guy left me with 2 boxes weighing 27kgs and 35kgs to carry on my own up to my flat on the 1st floor. He said they do not take deliveries upstairs. I am a woman and live alone. My neighbours are elderly people who could not assist. If you selling products, why not provide all this information so that we make informed decision. The service was crap

I bought a wildwood tv unit from the…

I bought a wildwood tv unit from the range .
In the manual it states if any parts are missing or damaged called them (Dorel) directly .... so i did . Answering machine where i left my personal details and what the problem was .
They ignored me .
When i emailed them last night , they replied .
Saying they didn't get my message " Rubbish"
They asked for my details so i sent my details from The Range website , my order number , date of purchase , price , ect .
Then they asked for more info , the invoice which I'd already said i don't have (paper) so that's why i sent them screen shots of my order details & asked them if they wanted a photo of the damaged part .
Then I'm told as the item was discounted (nothing said to me about it either by a Range sales assistant or on the website or item itself) they don't have spare parts & they would help if they could (yeah right) another company that sells cheap tacky chinese made rubbish and doesn't care about the people who buy their stuff !
I'll have to take it up with Trading standards !
