I've been a member of Quick Quack for…

I've been a member of Quick Quack for many years, at first when they opened, they were an awesome car wash, amazing experience. Lately, they don't really cut it, my car never leaves their wash clean. Today, I dropped the kids at school and thought I'd wash the snow off my car. However, I didn't realize I needed to update my credit card on file and I didn't have my purse on me. The attendant, would not let me through the wash, he refused service to me and was quite rude about it. This was at the Highland location off Timp, rude little blonde boy was the only person that I could see working. Instead of actually using customer service skills, and reminding me that I could go into the app and update my card, he made me turn around and leave. LOL, really? There isn't a shortage of car washes here in Utah, and you can better believe I will NOT be frequenting this business ever again. I've canceled my 3 car monthly membership and will happily pay someone else :)

Avoid QuickQuack

And there on October 15th when a bunch of tree sap landed on my car. I only hand wash my car.

I went to the Rocklin location. They guy charged me $37.99 for a “deluxe”
Wash.

To my surprise a month later I got charged another $37.99 for my “subscription. What a shady operation!

After going back and forth over 4 emails they refused to refund me. Avoid this scam of a car wash.

Our records show that our Customer Care team attempted to review the situation with you over several emails. In order to locate and review a membership account, we do need the license plate associated with the visit, as this is the primary identifier used in our system. During the conversation, our team repeatedly requested that information so they could find the account and assist you, but unfortunately it was never provided. The other details shared, such as the last four digits of a card, can match multiple accounts and are not sufficient for us to accurately locate or verify a specific membership.

When a membership is created, customers review and sign the Terms and Conditions at the time of sign-up, and a welcome email is immediately sent with the membership details, including the renewal date, renewal price, and cancellation information. Our Unlimited Membership is a subscription that renews automatically every 30 days unless canceled.

Because the license plate information needed to locate the account was not provided, our team was unable to complete the review or make any adjustments. We also understand that the billing concern has since been addressed through your bank.

STAY AWAY if your car is more than 5…

STAY AWAY if your car is more than 5 years old. I've been a customer for years. I recently went through their wash and the front wiper arm was damaged. The staff recognized the issue and an incident report was filed. The claim was rejected due to my car being more than 5 years old. They're lost a loyal customer due to this horrible customer service experience.

Without more information to identify your specific claim, we cannot directly address your concern, but we can assure you that we are committed to always doing everything possible to ensure the safety of every vehicle that travels through our wash. We wash hundreds of vehicles each day without incident, but in the rare case of damage, we always thoroughly investigate each claim.  We do have our damage claim policy posted in multiple locations at every facility including at the entrance of the wash.  As our signage at the entrance of the car wash states, “We are only responsible for items that are factory-installed, secured, undamaged, and on vehicles that are less than five years old. Also, antennas should be removed or retracted.”  Even with this policy, we will investigate any claim of damage to ensure that there was no malfunction of the wash that caused or contributed to the incident. If it is found that nothing malfunctioned during your wash to cause this incident, unfortunately, we would not be able to accept responsibility since it does fall in line with incidents that can occur with the age of the vehicle and is advised by our signage before you enter the wash.

Such a big Corporation wouldn't make it right.

I just discovered on my credit card bill that I was being charged double cost on my Quick Quack bill since June. In June I went to Quick Quack for a ONE TIME car wash on a car that I usually don't drive. I learned from their Customer Service that I must have added that car to my account. I did not. She looked up that June was the only time I had that car in. The frustrating part is that the only thing Quick Quack would do is apply credit to my next months bill, and I was out of luck the other 5 months I was billed. Such a big corporation and they wouldn't make it right.

When a vehicle is added to an Unlimited Membership account, it becomes its own membership and will automatically renew every 30 days unless it is canceled. Customers also receive monthly invoices at the email address provided at sign-up so they can clearly see what vehicles and memberships are being billed each cycle.

Unfortunately, without additional information we’re unable to locate your account or review the interaction you mentioned with our Customer Care team. This company is shady AF

This company is shady AF. For about a year I was paying for their premium car wash “experience” $35/mo . Finally, I realized that I don’t use it enough to make it worth my while. I cancelled online and they popped up with a free month . I accepted. Why not. Well, I got charged again a month later. So I called to complain and get my money back and they said “ when you accepted the free month, it automatically charges you again after that free month and since you accepted it, I can’t give you your money back.” It must have been the tiniest print because I never saw that. I never used it and it’s only the second day of the month. I just find it terrible service for any company to trick someone who is cancelling into continuing a membership. Super shady. Horrible business practice. Not to mention, my car was never clean the first time through and left permanent streaks on my new car.

Like many membership-based businesses, when a customer begins the cancellation process, they may be offered retention offer such as a free month as an incentive to continue their membership.
If the cancellation is started over the phone, our team explains verbally that accepting the free month does not cancel the account and that billing will resume after that month. A follow-up email is also sent immediately, confirming that the free month was applied, noting that the account remains active, and showing the next billing date.
If the cancellation is started through our app, the process is visually displayed on-screen. Customers are presented with two clear options:
1. Accept Free Month (to continue membership)
2. Continue to Cancel Membership
Choosing “Accept Free Month” confirms the decision to remain an active member, and the following screen again thanks the customer for staying and continuing their membership with us.
We make every effort to be clear at each step, but we sincerely apologize if you feel it was not made more clear. We value your feedback and will continue looking for ways to improve communication so that our members always feel confident in their choices.

Scratches car

I joined Quick Quack carwash immediately after purchasing new RAVE 4 expecting a simple, safe cleaning, to keep our car looking new. But after 6 months of using Quick Quack we noticed multiple scratches on the top and sides of the roof both sides. The damage was not noticeable immediately after first wash but after 6 months of washing the marks are clearly visible. It is a new car and there is no other way it could have gotten identical scratches on both sides of the roof.

I cannot recommend this place and strongly suggest going elsewhere if you care about your car’s finish.

Went to Oak Harbor car wash in…

Went to Oak Harbor car wash in September for a $14 wash. Just noticed I have a charge for $41.41 for November, looked at October and another $41.41 charged to my debit card. I do NOT have an account! I did not ask for a monthly subscription! They are charging to my card without authorization. Will be calling in the morning or might be heading there to dispute the charges with staff. If unsuccessful there and if I can't get resolution, I'll have to cancel the card and eat the loss. Criminal.

Follow-up:Subsequently I went to the carwash and spoke to the area general manager. He could scan my card with the pad and found the subscription with a name, email and plate. None of which I knew. When I called customer care, they could look up my license plate to see that I had a September charge, which was me, but no record of the other 2 charges. They said they could not lookup my card as I didn't have an email address tied to a subscription. Also, the GM said there were other inactive subscriptions with different license plates tied to my card. But no other charges that I found. Card was cancelled, bank fraud department is investigating, I should get my money back.

I can't think of any other way my card was compromised. Is it possible that someone inside got my information? I have no other charges that were not me. My bank is investigating. Changed to 3 stars for the assistance, but, although speculating, their billing/charge system might be needing might need scrutinizing.

I trust this carwash

It’s really unfortunate to see some of these reviews but I did have a really great experience at all the locations have been to so far. In fact the reason for my review is because of how great my most recent experience was. My car always comes out clean, smells good, and the convenience of the vacuums in the towels is always great. They seem to be expanding quite feverishly in Texas, and maybe with that comes some growing pains but all my interactions have been five stars

Gross smelly towels

I typically really like Quick Quack and I have a membership. I use several locations. Today in Yucca Valley, CA. Everything seemed OK, carwash was fine. The towels to dry off the cars used to be dry but now they are damp, but still dry the car off. My big complaint today was the towels smelled like a filthy kitchen sponge. I didn't notice until I got back in my car and realized the smell had transferred to my hands. I had a two hour drive ahead of me, now with super stinky hands. I've been a loyal customer for over a year, but if this happens again, I'll be done, totally gross. Wish they would go back to drying them but if not, at least make sure they don't stink.

Just when I think QQ has it's act…

Just when I think QQ has it's act together, they surprise me with less than stellar service! Once again, the young man who guided me into the wash was just too darn lazy to pre-spray my entire front windshield and he never moved to even attempt to pre-spray my rear window, which is a must with an SUV. So, Iwasted their time, energy and supplies by immediately driving through a second time, hoping the wash would clean my front and rear windows. Wondering where management is during the day? I hve never seen anyone who appears to be supervising the workers. Don't get me wrong. Some of the youngsters who work there are excellent, but every once in a while a lazy kid couldn't care less about customer service. Management, where are you?

I love them

I love them! I've been going here to Quick Quack Car Wash since '06 I believe they also had a different name at first it's been so long. This is the only car wash I've trusted on my vehicles for years. Acura, BMW, JEEP, NISSAN etc. Lately there is one that the vacuums always suck! But they are kind of in the ghetto area. People always breaking it. UGH! I love their concept of recycled water. If you want to cancel just have your card stopped. Once charged, how can you expect a refund?

Broke my side mirror

Took my 2020 Chevy Blazer through the Brentwood, CA location Friday 8/1/2025 at about 6:40pm and the car wash smacked my driver's side mirror so hard that it broke the internals that hold the glass in place (the part used for adjusting the mirror). The car sent into the wash behind me was so close I couldn't use the air dryer, since I didn't have any towels I drove home (about 5 minutes away) to dry my car. As I was pulling away I noticed that my mirror was jammed forward and so popped it back in place before pulling out onto Sand Creek Road. When I looked at my mirror all I could see was the sky. I used my mirror controls on the door set it back to where it should have been.

When I parked in my driveway I spent about 5 minutes toweling off the water, I had left my driverside door open during this time, when I was finished and closed my door the mirror fell out, only being held in by the wiring for the turn signal and impact side markers.

The manager is claiming the damage did not occur due to the car wash even though he stated that you can see on their videos that the machines hit my side mirror so hard it forced the mirror all the way forward. The manager is denying any responsible because I left the property before realizing that the impact had caused significant damage stating that all damage claims are automatically denied if you don't notice the damage immediately on their property before leaving.

The manager refused to give me the regional manager's name or contact information and said that it's against at their policy to provide any of that information to customers. He admits to seeing video of the car wash striking my mirror hard enough to force it forward and stated that this happens all the time and never breaks the glass or internals. He accused me of changing my story about the series of events, rewording what I said to make it sound like I had been touching the glass when it broke. He strongly insinuation that I broke the mirror myself within those 10 minutes after exiting the car wash. Even after showing him the video of me pulling into my driveway, drying off my car and the assembly falling apart when I closed the door for the first time. I showed him time stamped photos of the damage (before I realized it was actually broken) taken in the parking lot before leaving.

A failed or late payment does not cancel your membership or adjust your billing cycle. As outlined in the Terms and Conditions you agreed to at the time of sign-up, your membership continues to bill every 30 days based on your original enrollment date, regardless of whether a payment is successful or not.
When your membership is created, the Terms and Conditions—including full cancellation instructions—are signed and a welcome email is sent immediately. This email includes your renewal date, the cost of your membership, and a direct link to the terms for your reference. These same terms are also always available on our website. We do everything we can to communicate our policies clearly and transparently.
If your payment fails or is missed, our system places your account into a suspended status until the balance is resolved. There are no additional fees, but service will remain unavailable until payment is brought current. It's important to note that your original billing date remains unchanged and will continue to follow the 30-day billing cycle regardless of any missed or delayed payments.
We hope this clears up any confusion and appreciate the opportunity to clarify how our system works. We hope we have an opportunity to better serve you in the future.

Quick quack was double billing me for…

Quick quack was double billing me for months and wouldn't refund the money. Bad customer relations and service. Bad company. I dropped my account after they stole $100 from me!

Your staff did not delete my prior car. Your mistake not mine. The fraud occurred when the next Hertz customer decided to take advantage of the non-removal of the car by your staff to get "free" car washes using a rental car that was removed when I added the new one. Your staff is too limited by license plates to make proper adjustments. You do not care about your customers per all the poor reviews here. My advice. STAY AWAY FROM QUICK QUACK!!!

Been going there with membership

Been going there for a while with a membership. Other than sometimes leaves soap on the car after the wash lately the wash conveyor did not push my car all the way out at the end. No signal, green light, was given to put the car in drive and the vehicle behind me bumped into the rear of my car. I finally put the car in drive and drove out.
The person behind me and I both waited to put in a claim as the same thing happened to him. We basically just wanted to notify the company of the problem.
After a few weeks they sent an email stating "insufficient details" and that was that.
A friend of mine also had the same problem at a different Quick Quack with the same end result.
Today the problem happened again but I quickly put the car in drive to get out.

After you spoke with our Assistant Store Leader, we immediately conducted a thorough investigation. Our review included footage and a full inspection of the wash equipment. We found that your vehicle was loaded correctly and that there were no malfunctions with the conveyor or the GO light. In fact, the incident occurred just before the exit at the tire shine area—not at the final stage—where it appeared your vehicle shifted slightly on the track, which caused your vehicle to get stuck and led to the rollers being forced under your vehicle and the vehicles to tap. The footage shows you recognized there was an issue and drove out of the wash before reaching the final stage of the tunnel. There was no malfunction of the wash to cause this shift and our GO light at the exit is working at the correct timing.

We want to acknowledge that you originally told our team there was no damage and that you were just hoping we’d investigate, which we did. However, we regret that we didn’t follow up more clearly with you afterward. The email you received was an automatic message from our new claims system - because no malfunction or error in the system was found it generated a denial email automatically when the findings were logged, and we recognize how that may have caused confusion. We’ve shared your feedback with our development team to help improve how these communications are handled going forward.

We apologize for any frustration this situation has caused you and hope to better serve you in the future.

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. They sold me the first month with no wash limit for $9.00 and the second month for $60.00. This is a rip-off. They don't tell you, they just take it from you.

The promotion you are referring to was advertised in all signage, print, and social media posts as an introductory offer of $9.99 for the First Month of our Unlimited membership. All advertising also denotes that pricing returns to normal on the 2nd month. We do not have any memberships for $60 at any of our locations. Our membership is a subscription that does auto-renew as our pricing boards and advertising state. When every account is created the customer signs the terms and conditions on the iPad in order to activate the account. We also immediately email the membership information which includes all the details of the membership such as the renewal date and the renewal price, our cancellation policies, and the terms and conditions to the customer when the account is created. We try to do everything possible to be clear with our customers. We would be happy to help you connect with customer service to answer any questions and manage your account. Horrible experience , a scam

I bought a membership from Quick Quack Car Wash and they wanted to charge me 12.99, I believe, a month. However I kept emailing and calling them to cancel my membership to no answer. They kept taking money from my account. Recently, I locked my account and they still stole my money. I also noticed whenever I wash my car the dryers at the end of the car cash never blow dry properly. I also didn't know that your membership is for one car only and you have to buy a " separate " membership to even Wash your other cash . Apparently I changed my license 2 times already. My new car was suppose to be washed , then my membership was changed to the old car, then my new car. They refused to wash my old one and I was forced to drive away in embarassment.

For your convenience, memberships can be canceled in several ways:

-By contacting Customer Service at 888-772-2792

-Through the MyQQ App

-By submitting a request online or emailing info@dontdrivedirty.com

Online cancellation requests are processed within 48 hours and include a confirmation email. Cancellations made directly through Customer Service are immediate and also followed by confirmation. Our team is available 7 days a week from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. PST.

As noted in Section 1.2 of our terms:
“Each membership applies to the vehicle identified at the initial purchase of such Services. Services are not transferable between vehicles.”
All memberships are designed for individual vehicles. However, we do offer multi-vehicle discounts—customers pay full price for the first vehicle and receive a reduced rate for each additional one.

To maintain the integrity of our membership program, each customer is allowed two license plate changes per calendar year. Any additional changes must be handled directly with Customer Service.

Horrible car wash facility

Horrible car wash facility. Went through the automated car wash and my car is still dirty. The air dryer didn't work worth a damn either.
I will never use this business again even if they gave me a free membership. That is how bad my first experience was.
