I applied and payed for a search for my marriage certificate which was found promptly with good communication. I then payed for my certificate and now zero response from multiple e mails asking for an update. I believe i may have been scammed. Ive tried to contact them on multiple occasions with no response and this has wasted a month of valuble time for my visa application. Why would they not respond?? I have now had to apply for my certificate elsewhere. Please consider this carefully before using these guys. I would avoid at all costs!!

There was no follow up and no response. Just took initial payment. These services only have digital databases to search through that you can also access through a consulate for free. The truth is most, older documents have not been digitized and these services can't find anything you couldn't find yourself.

Initially communication was great. I paid for express shipping for a service and technically got ghosted. I’ve messaged them multiple times for updates and I get no response yet they are receiving my messages. So yeah, not recommended if you want to pay for a service you’re not going to get.

Les escribí varias veces para que me dieran un update pero no me respondieron y se veia cuando fue la ultima vez que estaban online. asi que no pierdan su tiempo pagando un servicio que no van a recibir :)

I originally wrote a review about Dominican Vital Records in 2025 after a very frustrating experience. I had paid for their service to locate my marriage records, and although I was shown that the records had been found, I then heard nothing from them for more than six months. I sent several follow-up emails and received no response. Thankfully, I eventually did receive my documents.
When I later needed those documents translated, I decided to give Dominican Vital Records another opportunity. I was understandably hesitant based on my previous experience, but I was assured that changes had been made within the organization.
I’m happy to say that my experience this time was much better. Communication was improved, the translation service was handled professionally, and my documents were delivered in a timely manner.
I appreciate that they followed through this time and demonstrated that improvements had been made. While my first experience was disappointing, I believe it is also important to acknowledge when a company makes an effort to improve its service. Based on my most recent experience, I would be comfortable using their services again.

Good experience

The experience was super easy and the response time was excellent. I would use the service again for any additional needs to obtain Dominican records and translation services.

When I sent my initial request the correspondence was very slow and then dropped off altogether. I had to reach back out and send another request. Once Joscarly was on the case the correspondence was quick and followed through with timely requests and follow up. I appreciated the thoroughness and seeing it to completion.

Prompt service. Great and constant communication. I submitted the request for a birth certificate on April 17 and received it on May 20 (regular non-expedited shipping) in the US. I highly recommend Joscarly Cordero and his services.

Oh my god worst place ever, i paid $400 dollars and I’ve been waiting for my documents for months. Please please stay away.

Paid for a certified copy of my parents’ marriage certificate along with apostille and translation services and never received the document. Ordered in February 2024 and have been completely ghosted. AVOID!

Received marriage certificate in English. I sent them 2 separate amounts in dollars as requested. My brother can’t get divorced unless he gets cert. Absolute disgrace.

THIS IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM, for the sole purpose of stealing YOUR MONEY. After several months of empty promises, "Grey" and his site have disappeared, leaving me with nothing. I am working with AMEX and PayPal to try and stop this crook.

Placed an order for several translated copies of our marriage license. Communication was great until after the order was placed then all communication stopped. Their US phone number is not theirs and so far their Whatsapp and email haven't yielded any results. Just got scammed...

SCAM SCAM, josecarly codero will take your original personal documents (birth certificate, copy of passport, etc) and your money and never contact you again.

I would give a zero because I’m pretty sure this company is a scam. My wife and I were trying to obtain a copy of our marriage license and paid the $160 fee on May 4th.

As soon as they had our money communication ceased. We have followed up every week with exactly zero response.

I have been trying to contact this company for over 1 week. No responses to chat messages on What's up or to direct emails. They were quick to charge my card but failing to respond. This is not looking good.....
