To many scammers
Big shout out: DominicanCupid is filled with low-life people: scammers, prostitutes and gold diggers
Scammers create multiple accounts with the same pictures but different locations, age and names. There are high quality sites, e.g. J4Elit.com
that don't require so much time and money and they are good at filtering off scammers. Alas, DominicanCupid is the complete opposite. I have a feeling that absolutely nothing is done to prevent scam. I tried to report 100% fake female accounts a few times. Neither of them was deleted. They are still there searching for their gullible victims.
I've been a paying member 2 or 3 times
I've been a paying member 2-3 times. I can attest that DominicanCupid is going downhill for several reasons. FIRST, as a male living in the USA, the majority of messages I received were from...Ghana, Cuba, Jamaica, Hong Kong, Nigeria and occasionally, the Dominican Republic. All scammer accounts with fake pictures working overtime to extort you. SECOND: Even among those messages from Dominican women, at least 70% are from prostitutes or beggars with no intent to date. They ask for money within the first 5 messages exchanged. THIRD: 99% of women on there message you without ever opening your profile (you can check who did). I discovered that the app allows women to send batch messages to a group of men. So you may be one of 30 men she sent that "hola" you got in your inbox. CONCLUSION: You'd be lucky if 1% of the girls on there are real. DominicanCupid knows this and does nothing about it. You pay $47/mo, waste time filtering hundreds of messages and nothing to show for when your membership expires. It's a royal waste of time. Save your money.

Review of Dominican Cupid – IT Perspective
Normally, I do not give extremely low ratings, but this platform warrants it based on my professional review. With 24+ years of IT experience, I was asked to evaluate the site’s services and security, and the results are concerning.
The overwhelming number of fake profiles is evidence of very poor administrative oversight. Most profiles lack meaningful information, and many display recycled or stolen images linked back to adult sites, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. This suggests inadequate verification processes and raises questions about user safety.
In addition, a significant portion of accounts are clearly operated by individuals attempting financial scams. Typical conversations quickly shift toward requests for money — citing family emergencies, tuition costs, or medical issues — many of which prove to be fabricated. This reflects a failure to monitor and enforce standards of authenticity and security. Be completely aware of members who are selling sexual content.
While there may be a very small percentage of genuine members, they are virtually impossible to find amidst the overwhelming amount of fraudulent activity. In its current state, the site does not prioritize user trust, effective IT administration, or ethical management.
In short: I cannot recommend this platform. The lack of proper IT governance, profile verification, and user protection makes it a poor and unsafe choice for anyone seeking a legitimate dating experience.

I renewed because I was talking to…
I renewed because I was talking to someone and wanted to continue but the site is dreadful. The functionality is so poor it feels like the 1980's the predictive text is crap and once you send you can't edit the message. This is just HOW BAD this is. PLUS would estimate 60% of the woman are prostitutes - I found scores of women with multiple accounts with different names and different addresses and ages but using the same photos. Multiple accounts are supposed to be outlawed. I signed in once 3 months ago under a different email address by mistake and the account was immediately closed and a message saying duplicate account. Is one law for men and another for women - is fine for women to have 6 accounts. I know a couple that have 6 accounts in 6 different countries - all different ages and the same photos. Some duplicate accounts are on the same page or even next to each other which highlights how much compliance and due dilligence is applied by the owners. I have reported these accounts many times - nothing happens they are all still there and a couple I know have added another account since I reported them. When this subscription ends I will not renew and strongly advise any prospective customers to look at another site that is properly managed and controlled. What are the regulators doing? To sum up - expensive - dated software full of scammers and prostitutes and no control or due dilligence whatsoever. If I had the option would mark it -MINUS 5
Stay far far away
If you live in the Dominican Republic abd you’re interested in meeting hookers, transvestites and scammers then the app has got you covered.

It is a nice site for dating and it has lots of beautiful women, but if you could improve the site, by allowing someone to put on credit, for the next person who they are talking to. an interesting.
By doing that, it will improve your site, so you would find more people, on the site, and more money for you. So, think about it.

Scammers, Prostitutes, Fake Profiles
Many of the women that contact me wanted me to send them money 💰. Most of them are unemployed, scammers, prostitutes, with fake profiles.

This is the same for some other Cupid…
This is the same for some other Cupid sites as well. I have met or corresponded with some of real people but either most of these women do not understand how this site works or there are a lot of fake messages. Why would you send some one a message with out joining the site as a member. Do they think you will pay to join just to read their messages? Most of them never read your profile or have very little information in their profile. Hardly any of them are members
