I was not eager to send money online to a foreign company. However, the Dominican Certification Service appeared to be my best option for obtaining a Dominican birth certificate quickly. While not inexpensive, all fees were disclosed ahead of time and there were no surprises. The communication was excellent. The documents are impressive and official. With the extra fee for overnight delivery, I had the birth certificate along with the official translation in my hands just eight days after placing my initial inquiry. Great people to deal with.

I initially had reservations about ordering a replacement marriage certificate simply because the company is based in The Dominican Republic but of course that is where they would have to be to aquire a replacement certificate on my behalf. Given that the only alternative would be for me to travel from U.K to Dominican Republic myself at great expense, I asked Steve a few questions first and I must say he was very quick to respond and answered my queries without hesitation. The whole experience was hassle free and Steve kept me informed at every point. The bottom line, it was worth every penny and I had my replacement certificate in about a week. Cannot praise Steve highly enough he is an absolute life saver.

I recieved what required, however, it came all wrinkled.

What needs to be improved is the delivering method.

I suggest when mailing documents instead of using a folder and a envelope, use a box. It will help from keeping the documents from been mistreated.

I got in touch with Coco Tours because l did'nt know what to do or where to start. When l contacted them they were very helpful and professional. They located my marriage certificate from the records in Santo Domingo, sent me a draft copy to make sure everything was correct. When l confirmed all was okay they had it translated into English and sent me copies of the original and the English one. I paid extra to have it delivered by UPS from the Dominican Republic to my home in Spain and tracked it all the way. I had it within 5 days.
