Poor qualities.

I got cotton pads the last month. The each pad were thinner.I don't remember the price I paid I will want to pay some more with usual quality. I get Dollar Rama is cheating this time. Also drawstring clear Multipurpose Bags 24"x 28" I used for recycle. The plastic is thinner. I took recycle dump place during walk plastic bag was broken.All came out and pick up one by one. So embarrassing with this experience.

I bought a cable for $4 + at Dollarama…

I bought a cable for $4 + at Dollarama in jun and when i charge to my android it was loose and cannot charge. it was defects,the plug did not click to my android. I took to the store they refuse to change saying I need receipt. I email to Dollarama on jun25 and multiple times in jul, August and finally they ask 5 question
Where I buy,date I buy,time I buy,total invoice,the item ...how many ppl
remember all these shopping info 2 months ago for a $4 cable . The admin reply me with all these 5 question already waste more than $4 of the company time .,I am sure the adm is paid more than $4 writing the email to me...how inefficient is

Bought gifts cards for Father's day of…

Bought gifts cards for Father's day of this year 2024 for the amount of $100
and there was nothing on them.
Contacted head office and they told me they where defective.
They said they would issue a cheque back to me in the emails.
3 months later, nothing and they will not respond back to me!
Multimillion dollar company and ripping people off.
I am thinking about pursuing this to small claims court.

$3.5CAD Over Door Hanger not working

I bought a Over Door Hanger ($3.5CAD) in Dollarama Nanaimo. It can not fit my door. (It is ordanary door. nothing special). I take the hanger to store, require to change another type hanger that can be screwed on the door. but the employee told me that anything in dollarama is final sale. no return, no exchange. I think this is not fair to customer. custormer have the right to get a workable product.

If there was a 0 rating I would definitely use it. One star is way too generous when it comes to crap products from China and the worst customer service ever!! So called " manager" in the St Albert location wouldn't even give me her name to file a complaint . They don't wear name Tags for a reason.

Bad ugly toys

Today, me, and my friends went to Dollarama And we got two lol doll toys and we are so excited to open them that when we got home they’re fake one of us got a fat body and one of us got a skinny body with the same head and different clothes that didn’t even fit and shoes that didn’t even fit that had sand in them different bottles to and they both did different things mine peed and throw it up and hers did the same and they’re only supposed to colour change and cry and the cost is five dollars which is very expensive for a child and they’re fake as well. Do you know how sad a kid not would be to go home and find out the toys fake, the toy was so poorly made. There was paint chipping in the paint was so sloppily put on the toy. and the cat on the package doesn’t even come in the pack and the checklist is different to.

Really awful customer service

Really awful customer service. I brought in my shopping bag and when I asked the cashier to help me putting the items in the bag, she adamantly refused! Then I was asked to hurry up and move on as I was holding the line. Consequently, I asked to speak to a manager, they sent me a part-time high school student supposedly acting as a manager assistant. What a joke!
Expect this to happen to you!

Cashier refused my $20.00 dollar bill

Cashier refused my $20.00 dollar bill it had a little cut in it. She said it was ripped she could not take it cause the bank would not take it. I said it just needs a little tape. She refused it. It was the store at 1591 Wilson Ave. Toronto Ontario. I asked to talk to manager she was not available. I contacted customer service. I still have not received any feedback. So I am posting here to let everyone know

Shrieking Securiy Guard made me late for work

I found my path blocked while the Indian Security Guard blocked the exist of a customer while screaming, You STUPID IDIOT'..'why did u DO itt'! The customer apologized for knocking a can off the (poorly stocked).shelf. 'why u.not TELL me' ? Shrieked the Guard. Then..I kid u not..'Fck.OFF' yelled the Guard. The other clerk there emitted a.foul stench from her armpits...which made me feel sick. And I was late getting to work this morning bcos i wanted to lpay for my bar of chocolate. Which eventually I did. But I return no more. I dont need to be hearing this.And I'm still reeling from that awful smell. Use deodorant. Please! Yikes. I think Dollarma might even sell it. Broken escalator. The chocolate bar was OK...99cents..but man o man! It was around 1130.or.so this morning. I'm actively avoiding this travesty from now on. The customer did say, 'this is harassment' but the Guard stood his.ground, I tell ya.

I'm talking about the dollar ama in saskatoon on circle. Drive, I bought a vanilla car there the other day and they didn't activate it and then the hassle to get the money back out of them with an absolutely uncalled to go there 3 times and I kept getting f***** around. They kept telling me there they kept reading about it. If they kept passing the bucks to the 2000 numbers and the 1 800 numbers attached to the book to them and both of those who are. Anyways, at the end of it all.I finally got my money back after I returned to refuse.Leave the store until I did and he still ripped you to wake me up $8.The manager or owner or whoever that guy is the eastern indian guy is a shady peice of s@#*

She was kind, courteous, insightful, and knowledgeable. Mahima made her customers feel welcomed.
It is exceptional staff like Mahima at this Dollarama that keeps us returning.

i wish i could rate them less than 1.

had the misfortune of shopping for the Christmas gift cards I purchase every year. seems like their debit machines were having issues today. I had $500 worth of gift cards and cashier asked if we could break it up in 2 purchases which i agreed to. made the first purchase for $300 and swiped debit card and charge went through..then tried for the $200 remaining (total was $208.98 for this transaction) tried debit card and it would time out. Cashier asked if I had a credit card to try, so I swiped credit card for same amount and again it timed out. i told them i would go to ATM and withdraw the cash and return. so i go back a few minutes later with cash and purchase the last gift card and get my receipt for $208.98 stating it was a cash purchase. i come home check my banking and low and behold my credit card was charged and my debit card as well. i paid for 1 $200 card 3 times. called the location and they had me go back with receipts and screenshots of my banking only to be told they can't help me and i need to contact client care. contacting client care to speak to anyone was impossible and i could only submit everything via email. so I am out over $400, it's the weekend right before Christmas and could take until new year to attempt to get my money back.
this is ridiculous. will never shop at dollarama again. if no response to my email by the 27th of Dec., I will contact Pat Foran-consumer reporter for CTV news

I was at the aurora ont store..I asked…

I was at the aurora ont store..I asked for my items to be put in reusable bag ..when I noticed 3 items were missing I called and was told it's not their responsibility and that they couldn't help..
It maybe dollar store items at a cheap price but what if this person was elderly or it was what they could afford shame on dollarama for profiting several times .

Company is corrupt right to the top in my opinion!!

My son bought two Amazon gift cards to $100 each. They were fraudulent and we have an email from Dollarama saying so, but all they will offer us is gift cards from their store. Seems like a scheme by the company to force people to buy the crap in their store. Planning on reporting them to the Canadian Consumer Investigation unit. And Amazon. Already filed a report with the police. This company is too corrupt to be on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Don't buy anything there!!!!!

Very poor customer service

I was at the new location on king street Waterloo.Ir took 2 managers to solve my problem.I bought a bag of chips with my items the Fri before and they wouldnt honor my item on the receipt that I brought.The lady at the desk forgot to give them to me.When I spike to the manager in charge she finally gave me my chips but very bad customer service

Self checkout attendant treated me like…

Self checkout attendant treated me like i was stupid at Rylander location in Toronto. I can't even open up a bag they provided to start scanning until she said to just go to cash cause i took too long. I didn't even scan anything yet, I was just getting the bag ready. I have been using self checkouts for years, I know how it works. I know how to use self checkouts and do not appreciate being treated like that. It wasn't even busy there was no reason for her to do that. This happened on November 9, 2023
