Excruciating pain, no follow up from clinic

I lived and worked in Budapest before retiring. I recently returned for a month. The day before I arrived I started having pain in my leg. Within a few days the pain was excruciating. I couldn’t sleep, I had trouble walking. I made an appointment with Dr. Benedek Balázs. I thought he was very thorough and professional. He wrote a prescription for pain and gave me a referral for an MRI of the L spine. I contacted several places in Budapest , but no one would perform an MRI because I have a metal plate in my ankle from a car accident. I contacted my American doctor, he suggested that a CT scan could produce the same results. But the clinics in Budapest needed a different referral from Dr. Benedek. Also, the prescription I received caused a service skin rash. I wanted to get different prescription

I CONTACTED CUSTOMERS SERVICE AT DOKTOR24 SIX TIMES, to try to get a message to Dr. Benedek about changing my referral letter; 3 times by phone, 3 times by email. I never heard from him. The first person I spoke with at Doktor24 said they had no way to contact him. How is that possible? He works there. He doesn’t have an assistant? A receptionist? When I sent my email I included pictures of the bloody sores on my chest and back from the prescription.

I paid 64,000 forint and received a lovely referral that I couldn’t use. Instead of going hiking and traveling and hanging out with friends, I spent most of my visit laying in bed.

When I returned to the U.S. I received an MRI that revealed a problem with a nerve. I got a steroid injection and within 24 hours the pain was gone.
