I’ve been meaning to buy the gate since you first started but I was moving to my forever home so I waited until we moved. My husband left the front door open when we moved in and one of the dogs went walk about, so I ordered the tall gate, I didn’t quite trust that they wouldn’t figure out how to open it so I’ve now bought the added protection of the lock. I personally think that you should automatically include this as prevention is better than cure. I’m a breeder and have multiple dogs loose in the house, it’s been a godsend particularly in the hot weather that we’re having. My dogs are big Bernedoodles and I can trust that they’re safe

The gate works better than we expected! It doesn’t even need to be latched to discourage our dogs from crossing the barrier, because to gate rests on the floor! The gate is light, sturdy, and easy to move. The gate folds nicely out of the way when not in use, so no need to store it elsewhere! A paper template for the bracket holes would have been helpful for installation. We bought an extra set of brackets for a different area where we expected to use the gate, but the gate is so convenient that we intend to order a second gate!

Great customer service and fast delivery. Product looks great and perfectly fits my needs in my camper van to keep dogs from escaping through bug screen on sliding door. Highly recommend this product.

Delivery was quick. Ordering was easy. Installation is well explained. If you’re installing in camper sliding door that has a bug screen make sure both top and bottom attachment plates are on the same side of the screen. Haven’t used it yet but I think it will be sturdy and keep my dogs safe. This solved a large problem for camper van owners that also provides convenience.

I recently purchased the Dog-G8 Front Door Gate.

Overall, the build quality is very good, it feels well made, and the company appears professional. I chose it over much cheaper alternatives because I wanted a premium product that would last.

My main criticism is the price. At close to £100, it's already significantly more expensive than many competing products, so I expected everything needed to be included.

The gate simply lifts out of its mounting brackets, which means it can be dislodged more easily than I'd expected. I was surprised to discover that the solution is an optional locking bracket, which has to be purchased separately. In my opinion, a locking bracket should be included as standard with a premium-priced gate, rather than being an additional extra.

It's still a good-quality product and I'm happy with the overall design, but I do think the pricing is on the high side, and including the locking bracket as part of the original kit would make the product feel much better value for money.

High quality product. So simple to install in my Motorhome. Not had it long so I can’t verify anything concerning longevity but it looks like it was a successful purchase at this point.

Order delivered promptly. Great communication over delivery time. We had to return the first gate and reorder as wrong size ordered. This was made very easy. Refund was prompt.

Customer service was on point. Helpful and informative, even sent a free sample to see if it helps out my situation. Unfortunately it doesn't but thats no fault of the company, its the material trying to fix too and outside weather conditions.

Superb customer service!
We bought a tall and wide gate (in black) that fits the campervan and French windows. It’s well designed, easy to move and robust. We have a number of dogs, including one that jumps all other stair gates, finally we’ve managed to contain her!

This was my second purchase. I've got one for my front door and now bought one for my motorhome. Absolutely fabulous product 👌

We've had our Dog G8 for about a year, its perfect for the campervan so getting this gate cover seemed like the perfect addition. Our dogs can be quite reactive so having the cover will stop them barking at passing people or dogs. We'd used a towel in the past but this is neater and definitely worth the money. The only thing that I would change are the zips, they are small and I found them a bit fiddly so we may change them for poppers at some point but its only a very minor negative. The gate and the cover are 99/100. I have said before that the gate seems expensive but in terms of how it works and just does the job its worth every penny IMO.

Sturdier than I expected and the suggestion of additional brackets means we can switch one gate from the campervan side door to the bedroom area to control when the dogs can jump up for cuddles.
