Good for my web development agency

Good for my team. I think it's a match for small businesses. It's budget-friendly and doesn't take much effort to manage. What I like is that you don't pay extra per user, and the labels are fully customizable, so you can adapt them to your own workflow.

They also recently released a new feature, a widget that lets you collect feedback directly from any website and sends it straight to a dedicated board inside the product as tasks. So you don't need a separate tool for that. We're just starting to test it, but if it works as advertised, it'll save us the cost of a dedicated feedback tool. Since we build websites for clients, this is a really valuable addition for us.

Simple project management tracker

Simple project management tracker, and that's what I like about it. As a small business, difficult automations, or many confusing features that make the tool heavy. We needed,
- A simple tool that can be easily used by the whole team without special training/onboarding, and for it to be fast and easy to set up.
- Not expensive and with pricing that is not confusing.

That's what doBoard is.

It's a simple but budget-friendly project tracker

It's a very simple project tracker, but all the basic functionality you’d expect from a PM tool is there.
The crucial factor for me was pricing: it's way less expensive than other trackers my team and I considered (10–20 times cheaper than some alternatives).

Before that, we used another tracker that was free for teams under 10 people. However, as soon as we grew past 10 members, I faced an unpleasant surprise: from the 11th member onward, I had to pay for all 11, and then some.
I decided to switch, and while there were still some free alternatives, I realized that if you plan to grow your team (which I do), you will eventually face a rapid change in pricing. Doboard allowing unlimited members was a sound solution.

I should mention that my team has quite simple workflows, so the functionality is enough for us. Having some Agile features is a nice extra. The product also offers ways to customize your workspace with a label/tag system; it’s quite easy, though I initially spent about an hour reading examples to apply it to our processes.

Overall, I think it's a good solution for small, growing teams needing simple, budget-friendly tools. It probably won't be a good fit if you are looking for something with a lot of automations, integrations, or complex workflows.

Good

Well, this product, I think, is better than analogues.

I've used Trello and it's good in the beginning, but as I needed more tools for stable work, the price was too high for that. Also, Trello has very isolated communication and no built-in task time tracking.

But DoBoard has everything I need.

Functions of Basecamp, but unlimited users

I've been using the service for six months now. Switched from basecamp2 because of the pricy plans ($15/mo for basecamp user and $5/mo for the whole doboard license).

Includes the same key functions, but has no limit on the number of users, which is a defining parameter for me. For $5/mo it is more than enough.
