Formal Complaint
Formal Complaint – Unprofessional and Disrespectful Treatment at Zurich Airport
Condor Airline handled by Dnata
I would like to make a formal complaint about the way I was treated by the dnata staff at Zurich Airport.
I found the staff extremely rude, unhelpful and dismissive. In particular, I was ridiculed by a senior supervisor when I asked questions regarding my daughter’s cancelled Condor flight and how to retrieve or claim her luggage.
If I were an expert in airline procedures, I obviously would not have needed to ask questions in the first place. I was simply a concerned mother trying to make sure that my daughter, who was travelling to Kenya, was safe and knew what was happening with her journey and luggage.
What I found particularly unacceptable was the attitude of the senior supervisor. Rather than providing assistance or explaining the situation, I was made to feel foolish for asking legitimate questions. I also became aware that I was being spoken about behind my back after I had walked away from the check-in desk. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
As a handling agent, I would expect dnata staff to provide passengers with clear information, assistance and basic courtesy — particularly when dealing with a disrupted journey. Instead, I was left feeling embarrassed and completely unsupported.
I understand that flight disruptions can be stressful and that staff may also be under pressure. However, this does not justify ridiculing or speaking disrespectfully to a passenger who is simply asking for help.
I would appreciate it if this complaint could be investigated, particularly the conduct of the senior supervisor involved, and I would like to receive a response explaining how this matter will be addressed.
Kind regards,
Bella
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience – verify everything yourself
I am extremely disappointed with my recent booking experience with dnata Travel, specifically with the agent who handled my Maldives booking.
A private pool was a very important requirement for me from the beginning, and I repeatedly discussed and confirmed this verbally with the agent before completing the booking. I trusted the information I was being given and proceeded with the booking based on those conversations.
After arriving at the resort, I discovered that the room booked for me did NOT have a private pool.
The room category written on my booking was apparently the correct name for a non-pool room. However, I booked through a reputable travel company precisely because I expected to be able to rely on the professional guidance and explanations of their agent. I did not expect that I needed to independently research every room category on the hotel’s website to check whether the agent’s verbal confirmations were actually correct.
When I raised the issue, I was told there was no written evidence that a private pool had been promised. The agent was on leave, and when contacted, his response was essentially that he had given me the correct room name.
But that completely misses the point.
My complaint is not that the room name was typed incorrectly. My complaint is that I made my purchasing decision based on what I was repeatedly told and assured verbally.
Had I known that this room did not have a private pool, I simply would not have booked it.
I cannot say whether what happened was intentional or unintentional. What I can say is that the information I was given and relied upon ultimately misled me into purchasing a room I would never have chosen had I understood what I was actually getting.
I had previously dealt with dnata without any bad experiences, which makes this even more disappointing.
My advice after this experience: do not rely solely on what an agent tells you, even when something is repeatedly confirmed verbally. Research everything yourself before paying.
Check the hotel’s official website, verify the exact room category, facilities and inclusions, and make sure everything matches what you have been told.
I trusted dnata. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged that trust.
Abysmal service
I have returned to Rome from La Paz.
My checked in luggage is not with me, and no one can tell me where it is while I checked on my piece at every single place (when showing my boarding pass).
This could not have gone any worse.
I checked at every site and have been back and forth to the Rome airport three times (over the past 12 hours after traveling for 36 hours).
Abysmal service, unfortunately by both Dnata and Avianca. The Dnata Italy staff do not care and are highly defensive.
I was threatened with police and…
I was threatened with police and missing my flight if I didn’t shut up.
Yesterday I experienced an unacceptable situation during the boarding process of my Iberia flight from Geneva to Madrid at 18:50.
When I asked for clarification about the cabin baggage policy, the response from ground staff was neither informative nor respectful. I was told in a very abrupt manner that I had to hand over my bag and that I could be denied boarding if I did not comply, without any clear explanation or reasonable space to understand the situation. I was also threatened with calling to the police.
At no point did I refuse to comply with the rules; I was simply asking for clarification.
The way the situation was handled felt intimidating and disproportionate for a standard boarding process.
No passenger should be treated with threats or subjected to that level of pressure in what is already a stressful environment. This kind of experience is not acceptable and should be seriously reviewed to ensure it does not happen again.
Unacceptable Customer Service During Flight Disruption
Due to technical issues, I missed my original flight. The airline rebooked me on another flight so I could still catch my onward connection, which was clearly the airline’s responsibility.
Unfortunately, a dnata staff member at Heathrow (first name Orlando) made the situation extremely stressful. He was rude and unhelpful, repeatedly insisting that paying £350 was the only option and implying I would miss my flight if I did not pay — even though the issue was not my fault and no payment was required.
Because he refused to properly assist or clarify the situation, I had to run between terminals to return to the original airline desk to confirm the rules and then rush back again. Anyone familiar with Heathrow knows how large the airport is and how long terminal transfers take. This happened with just over one hour remaining before departure, and instead of helping, he wasted critical time while pressuring me to “pay or miss the flight.”
I did not pay because I was aware of the rules, but the situation caused severe stress and resulted in physical effects as well, including pain and intense pressure, on top of the mental distress.
It is concerning to think how many other passengers may have been pressured or misinformed in similar circumstances. This level of customer service is unacceptable. Passengers should be supported during disruptions, not intimidated or misled.
Very bad customer service
I have had very bad experience for the last 3 months, they have no customers service orientation at all, blaming others, no responses. They are not reliable at all, not inform customer terms and conditions.
These damn ads are driving me insane
These damn ads are driving me insane, Why are they on freezenova when majority of the playerbase is children, just put it on different damn websites and dont get me started on these Interactive ads, I dont want to go to FRANCE OR DNATA so remove them.
Dubai Airport Check in staff Isha
I was flying from Dubai to Calicut on 21st July 2025 with Air India Express (flight IX346). At the check-in counter, I faced an issue with my extra baggage advance booking. One of the dnata staff members, Ms. Isha (sorry I forgot the counter number), was very helpful and solved the issue by directly contacting Air India Express.
I really appreciate her support and professionalism. This is the first time I have experienced such excellent customer service at the airport. Thank you dnata, and special thanks to Ms. Isha for her outstanding assistance!
Wish I didn’t have to give them a star…
Wish I didn’t have to give them a star at all. Absolutely useless. So hard to speak to a human that actually knows what they are doing. When you do speak to someone they aren’t helpful, they don’t know the answers to questions asked. We had to speak to the hotels directly as Dnata agents are clueless. We have been miss sold a holiday that is non refundable and I haven’t even been on it yet. Avoid avoid avoid.
Dear Team,
Dear Team,
I want to raise an official complaint against Tejinder Darshan Singh - The Tractor Driver.
He has physically abused and emotionally blackmailed a female many times.
He forcefully enters the room and tries to threaten females.
He also gets fake medical physical certificates from his doctor to show it at his work place and manipulates females saying that they are mentally not stable and sexually harasses them.
I have launched a complaint with the Flat owner already.
He is mentally unstable and physically assaults Females and tries to enter the room threatening them to make physical contact or else will inform the husbands with false information.
He also drugged many females and sexually assaulted them.
.
Kindly take strong action against him or else he will spoil the name of DNATA.
I am traveling with Spice Jet and make not provided luggage receipt
I am traveling with Spice Jet today from dubai to Mumbai at around 4 p.m when entering -D18 Gate and I will attach my boarding pass as well. However, Danata employees Mr. Akabar and his coworkers Mr. Mujaid are harassing customers, including Spice Jet employees Mr. Vipin, who they counted for 1 kg of hand-carried luggage and mistreated passengers like me. I paid for 2 kg, and they are arguing, berating, and berating me. since I am a customer and they do not give me the bill for my purchase.
Please help me get my money back that was charged for my baggage back as I do not have any acceptance For your reference, check the CC TV and take appropriate action against them. I gave him the reason for my departure, but they are insult me
Schiphol airport boarding gate handling…
Schiphol airport boarding gate handling staff from dnata, extreme rude, forced me to checkin cabin baggage and when i didnt she harassed me and eventually let me go when i would apologise.
Totally unprofessional drivers.
Totally unprofessional drivers.
Today whilst driving around Heathrow’s southern road network, we were cut up by a Dnata lorry driver who despite us having the right of way pulled out really slowly causing us to break hard.
Because we sounded our horn the driver deliberately stopped blocking our way fully and gave a few hand gestures to us.
Maybe their drivers need reminding that they are representing the company when driving a lorry with DNATA all over it! Then again looking at some of the other reviews on here I am not actually sure DNATA would care
I had an extremely frustrating…
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Dnata baggage staff at Heathrow Terminal 2 on 6th December 2024. After a long 13-hour flight, I discovered significant damage to my suitcase, including a large dent. When I reported the issue, staff members Trisha and Prabha refused to file a damage report, claiming it was “not possible,” which is not only incorrect but goes against consumer rights under UK law. They also claimed no managers were on duty, and senior agent Rima continued their dismissive behavior.
Despite my legal rights to compensation under UK law, the staff argued with me, misrepresented my words, and became increasingly hostile when I insisted on my rights. They even gossiped about me in my presence. It took excessive persistence to finally get the damage report. This unprofessional behavior was completely unacceptable, and I strongly urge Dnata to address these issues with their staff.
Offloaded due to less than 6 months validity of UAE residence visa
I got worst experience dealing with dnata employees, instead of helping me out. They try to scare me that I'm gonna be black listed. Bad behavior from your employees. But when I spoke properly with the immigration officer theres no problem and try to understand me.

Fantastic Employee
Just wanted to give a shoutout to Asif Paramban who was working the check in desk for Turkish Airlines DBX terminal 1.
He was extremely helpful and friendly which made travelling with our newborn baby much easier than we first feared.
Excellent member of staff and a real credit to Dnata.
Not qualified personel and Rude
Not qualified personel and Rude. İ want to complain he did not give his name and hide his badge.
Flight from Amsterdam to Kayseri CD949
Bought broken earphones on an easyJet…
Bought broken earphones on an easyJet flight and DNATA are the company that provides them. I have sent back the forms and the earphones to DNATA and it has been over a month and despite multiple emails to them and WhatsApp messages they have ignored my pleas and not refunded me or replied to me so they have effectively stolen my earphones and money.
Big thieves …dnata/ Saudi-Arabië
My son flew from Addis Ababa to Schiphol with Saudi Arabia Air on May 2nd, and his two suitcases were not taken on the flight. One of the suitcases was delivered after a week, but the other is still missing. We have contacted Dnata via phone, email, and WhatsApp, but we received no response. No one can help us.
We also inquired at Schiphol, but they couldn't assist us either. In Addis Ababa, we informed Saudi Arabia Air, but they keep giving us the runaround. It is truly hopeless. We will not be flying with Saudi Arabia Air again.
