Scam or very unprofessional

They have called my phone and left a vague voicemail saying to visit their website. They also called a friend's cell phone asking for me but they could not say the company name or why they were calling (it was the same phone number and a person with a thick accent talking). So this company is either a scam or they are so unprofessional that they may as well be a scam because nobody is going to believe a phone call where a random person ask you for a personal information and not even tell you why they are calling. They need to mail you papers if it is a real company so you can see what they are talking about. I know that I owe nothing as I had to file for bankruptcy over 10 years ago and now have nothing negative anymore on my report. I know every penny that I owe anyone these days, which is a credit card and some utility bills and all of them are current. They need to learn to make their scam seem more legit. There are even videos on YouTube talking about how much of a scam DMS is and why their website is fake.

What kind of place is this?

Seems like I am getting the same call like everyone else. A guy reading from a script. I dont owe any debt to anybody. I never received a letter from this place so I dont know what they are trying to say I owe. Really limited information. I just purchased a home and it would have shown if I had a collection. Im pretty sure I would have had to pay the debt before moving foward. I called the number back but never get any answer. So is this man thats calling everyone does he handle all these peoples contracts.

Scam company

Scam company, they keep changing their name and getting to scam people. They say I owe from a place from over 15 years ago. That debt was already payed, even called the original place I owed and they confirmed it was a scam. Don't pay them anything.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam! The call was from 470-607-3570. Let it go to voicemail. Some dude reading from a script, “this is the lowest settlement I will ever be offered”. Went to the website which is obviously fraudulent. DMSpayments.com is a SCAM.

Scammers for sure

I see that those who are
Writing good reviews are the names of some of the people I got the call from. This place is a scam!!! You cannot even acknowledge who I am when you call. And if this was circulated from different debt collectors chance are you are not owed anything.

SCAM!!!

SCAM!!!! Left a voice message on my phone AND my husband's phone. When I looked up my phone number, the stated I own PAYDAY YES $914.00, but they would settle for $274.00. I have never taken out a payday loan. When I tried to call them, I could not get a live person. I chatted with live chat and asked for specifics of when, how much, my employer and bank. They could not or would not give me the information but offered to set up payments. IF....they had the information I requested, I could have proven to them that I did not owe anything. I had to threaten them I was going to file Fraud Charges against them, they stated they would update the account, and calls will be ceased, I may still file Fraud Charges against them.

Scam

Scam, I got two recorded phone calls, 1st one I went to website put my phone number in and it came up with a different person, not me. I clicked the button saying it wasn't me and thought I was done. Today I got another recorded message, this time I called. It stated that it recognized my number as....another persons name. It asked me it that was me, pressed #2 as no and it asked me to say my name and give say my phone number. Well it said it already knew my number, why would I say my name and my phone number. SCAM

This is a scam

This is a scam. First the called about a debt for a check n go. I was recently released from federal prison after serving almost nine years. I have never been to a check n go nor do I have a bank with checks. When I tried to talk to someone it doesn't give that option. Then I tried to do a live chat and at first the response was they're not available then I explain the same thing I wrote now wrote in this review. And they said oh yes the name and social it's your debt. So I responded with I want dates and MY signature they didn't respond. I said more amd still nothing. I said I know you're available you just semt me a message. I'm so livid.

Left me a voice mail claiming a debt…

Left me a voice mail claiming a debt had been placed with them after having gone through several other debt collectors. Man's southern voice sounded like he was bored and reading from a script. Claimed they were giving me an opportunity take care of this before they decide what kind of further action to take. NO information about the actual "debt" was given.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Period. They keep calling me about an account I never had. They never give you information about the particular debt just offer you ways to pay without verification. They make up a ridiculous amount like $3000 and claim to settle it for $800 if you pay today. I called the company they claimed I owed money to and they verified that I NEVER had an account with them. HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!!

They called me about an account my ex…

They called me about an account my ex husband took out in my name a while ago. I told them that and showed them the report I had filed when he did that. They said closed out the account and I haven’t a call since. The last agency that called me about this was really rude and didn’t even believe me and still told me I had to pay. DMS actually closed out the account as I asked for.

Persistant Scammers

Scam. They've gone by several names over the years. I do tend to mess with them in my free time when I get a new wave of calls, which is dwindling now because AT&T is auto-blocking their numbers now, if that tells you anything. If you happen to get a person on the line, get ready to hear some thinly veiled threats. I don't owe any delinquent debt, so if I've got a minute, I will waste their time. but if you don't have that kind of free time, ignore ignore ignore. Delete the voicemail, block the number. You are in no legal danger from these scammers. I do like the obvious review plants on this page, nice touch asg or dms or whoever you are these days.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Same voice on the voice-mail as when they were posing as ASG or what ever company they were calling from a few months ago. Do your homework. The address they provided is for Dun and Bradstreet. I think the two positive reviews of this site are also scammers trying to lure people into believing this nonsense. I received two voicemailes from them on the same day and time oddly enough. The call came through with a scam alert too. I do not have any outstanding unpaid debt, but nice try. If people put forth as much effort in a real job as they do scamming people, they might actually lead honest lives. Get a life scammers.

They continually violate federal and Oregon state debt collection laws even if they were real.

Absolutely a total rip-off scam.
