Answer on reply Dk classic cars
On 17 June 2025 we bought a ''totally restored'' Triumph TR 250 with this Company, i saw on the pictures that the oil pressure meter was not working correctly and told this to Mr Andersen. He replied that they would fix it, so far so good. We paid the car and had to wait another two weeks and a half before the car was delivered. When the transporter Guy drove the car from the truck i've noticed the car wasn't idling very Well (between 1500 & 2000 RPM up and down) i thought this was because was idling on choke, what wasn't the case because the choke was not working at all. And then it began...the carburators where totally offset in any way, the ignition timing was totally wrong and couldn't even be adjusted because wrong installement of the drive gear. The car is leaking oil everywhere it can leak oil...they even screwed a bolt under an angel in the engine blocks and tried stopping the leak with some sealant..what suprisingly doesn't work...When whe bought the car Mr Andersen was responsding quickly and politely on all my questions. On my demand he has sended me the restauration pictures from the car, but the pictures from the engine rebuild where lost somehow....but the car was totally restored ! I've been sending a lot of mails, including pictures for proof, with all the things that are wrong on the car but it stays dead on the other side, Mr Andersen doesn't answer any of my mails anymore.. I can't believe he didn't knew of all of this problems and to me he lie'd and betrayed me by his statement of selling me a ''totally restored car''. I live more than 1000km from DK Classic Cars and this is not a trip to go quickly see a car...therefore i trusted in the honesty from Mr Andersen what was eventually wrong to think.. the slogan ''we stand 100% behind the cars we sell'' should beter be remover from there website. And as a result of all this oil leaking i can't go to the Belgian car inspection for getting a registration. So i bought a car with a lot of work and have to buy a lot of spare parts to get it driveable and road worthy. Thank you for that Mr Andersen. So my advise, when you really want to buy with this guys ( what i don't recommend !) go there and inspect and double check before you even think of buying !!!

In your reply you say

''we would have welcomed the chance to investigate and resolve any problems had we been informed earlier''
- UNQUOTE -
The car was delivered on 10/7 and you received your first email with complaints from me on 10/7...how much earlier did you want it ??
- QUOTE -
''it's difficult for us to determine weather the problems stemmed from transport, pre-existing conditions of subsequent work done on the vehicle'' - UNQUOTE- .
Let me assure you, the problems where pre-existing...it didn't start leaking oil during transport, did it ? The transporter guy didn't screw the bolt in the engine under an angle did he ? or unsynchronised the carbs, pulled the choke cable out, put the drive gear for the ignition in the wrong allignment, and so on ?
- QUOTE -
''we're still here and open to dialogue''
- UNQUOTE -
Oh yeah ? You have my email adress, why didn't you email me back then ? I have send you 4 mails after 11/7 including pictures... you didn't answer any of them and now one month !! after my review on Trustpilot (witch i warned you i would place on 21/7 and you didn't answer this one either, so it placed my review on 23/7) you say you are open for dialogue.. i'm still waiting on any email coming from you...Finally i just want to say this, you can't tell me you didn't knew all these problems existed on the car, if you do, you lie. And now that you have a bad review you reply with a typically standard salesman answer to polish the review a bit. Let me tell you, it doesn't work, you're still not honest and sincere with me and you surely don't/didn't make any effort to straighten this out.
