Appalling, don't consider doing business here. Totally unprofessional, incompetent measuring,venetians fitted on one side only leaving an accident waiting to happen. Ordered blinds September 2024, eventually Darren rang me Christmas week 2025 to say he had blinds & ready to install. In the meantime, I had ordered from a different firm as waiting so long. All calls made to Darren were unanswered & messages left were ignored. I would advise anybody considering doing business with shades of dublin or dk blinds to run a mile, go elsewhere. The shutters that he did fit in my house, ie half the front, are not synchronised correctly.Buyer beware!!! Do not pay deposit you may never see that money again.

No change in his bull💩 i see.... as i had first hand experience working for him when he was (SHADES OF DUBLIN BLINDS) and would recommend NOT USING THE COMPANY'S SERVICE'S. Also be aware any customers. He's gone from his Shed in Navan. 😎🤣🤣🤣

Update: the company has replied below that they didn’t supply the blinds. That’s incorrect unless you’re trading under a different name but same salesman and same phone number. You may have moved from Donabate to a different location, but its exactly the same company!

This company uses inferior products but you pay the same price as you would for the genuine blind. Got what I thought was a Velux motorised blind. The first time it broke it took months to replace.
Then it broke again. The person who came to look at it for the second time didn’t even have the right tools to take it down.

Finally went back to a local company and had a proper Velux blind fitted. The difference is immediately apparent. There were too few screws and no casing to hold the original generic blind in place. What a ripoff and waste of over €500!
Definitely avoid this company.
