Kit didn't fit. Wouldn't refund me. Hard to contact anyone
Great kit for the GR Yaris and responsive support.
The kit took a few days to fit ,you 100% need to do this indoors as lots of times you have to leave it a few hours before an edge will stick, was mostly smooth sailing after studying all the videos a dozen times.
I had a panic when I got to the last part.. the bumper I thought that I might never be able to get a certain part to fit/go down as it looked so full of fingers! a quick video call with one of the guys (sorry I was so freaked!) and with their check over, tips and reassurance, I came back a few hours later and everything as they said it would, pressed down and looked spot on.
So so pleased.
The kit came quickly, was unfortunately missing the clay bar which they have sent out in the post (still waiting), so I did end up getting another one myself as I was on a timeline, but nothing major.
Thanks to the team!

Great service and a great product from DIY PPF. Product was as described and the support from Will and team was exceptional. This was my first PPF on a Merc A35 AMG so plenty of flared areas! It was a little bit daunting but if you follow the below steps you can’t go wrong!
1. Watch tutorial vids on the DIY PPF YouTube channel. There are over 20 in bite size pieces that takes you through everything from cleaning to preparing to installing.
2. Take your time and don’t rush! Line up the anchor points, check and then check again.
3. Don’t worry if it’s not right, you can lift, apply some more slip and tack and go again.
4. Try to get as many of the fingers down as possible but don’t worry if there are a few remaining. They will seal the next day when you’ve given it chance to settle.
5. Get a heat gun/hair dryer if fitting in cold weather. Although not essential I found it useful to tack down some of the more stubborn areas and definitely helped with sealing as the day I did this the garage was 5°c!
6. Finally give yourself a few days to clean, prepare, fit and seal. Better not to rush!
The customer support has been great. Will was up front that after I ordered the front bumper piece didn’t have the cutout for the canards as the software producer hadn’t done it yet (my car is a new 24 model). I was given option for the cutout, to wait or get a refund. Decided to go for it but unfortunately my cutting skills weren’t quite up to scratch on one side! Will messaged to say he just received the new design and kindly is sending me out a replacement part so I can re-fit.
All in all if in doubt I’d say just go for it, especially if you’re passionate about cars and enjoy cleaning, detailing and keeping it looking nice.

What can I say DIY PPF went above and beyond for me.
Having ordered three kits from them I was extremely happy with the overall product. Size and fitting bang on. And the service and delivery was second to none.
Will and his team also had me down for two days training, and what a pleasure it was seeing how he fits PPF and getting hands on was just what I was after.
So thankyou again Luke SMV.

I recently purchased a kit from DIYPPF.co.uk for my Aston Martin Vantage, and I couldn't be happier with the results!
I was a bit nervous about applying the PPF myself, but the kit came with clear, step-by-step instructions, and the quality of the film was outstanding. The pre-cut pieces fit the car perfectly, even around the more intricate areas like the headlights (Aston panel gaps are big anyway I appreciate 😂)
The film was durable but flexible enough to work with. I had no issues with air bubbles or creases, and the tools included in the kit made the installation much easier. I am very happy with the results vs the cost of thousands for sending it away for a week.
I highly recommend DIYPPF.co.uk to anyone looking for an affordable, high-quality PPF solution for their car!
DIY PPF is exactly what the Detailing, PPF and Public need!
Accessible, No fuss ordering with fast delivery!
Having used multiple kits from various
suppliers including Suntek, Premium Shield and Profilm, DIY PPF is up there in terms of quality and patterns.
Will is always on hand if we need an additional or replacement piece and always ensures a fast delivery.
Thanks to Will and the team at DIY PPF for revolutionising how we order, stock and install PPF.
I have been using DIY PPF almost since they started offering pre cut ppf kits. I have had close to 100 kits from them during that time and always found them to be of high quality. Very similar to the likes of Profilm and premium Shield to work with. The patterns have been accurate, and on the rare occasion there is an issue Will has always been quick to rectify and offer support.
I was pretty hesitant about trying DIY PPF at first. I had no experience with applying paint protection film, and it seemed like it might be tricky. But after doing some research and watching the tutorial videos that come with the kit, I decided to give it a go on my Alfa Romeo 4C. I was surprised by how manageable it actually was. It definitely required some patience, but as long as I took my time and followed the instructions, the process went smoothly.
The pre-cut pieces fit my car perfectly, and the guides really helped me understand how to handle the film, especially when stretching it over curves. I wouldn't call it "easy," but with the right prep and a careful approach, I was able to get a great result. Now, my car is well-protected, and I feel like I’ve added value to it without spending a fortune on professional installation. Looking back, I’m glad I took the leap—it’s a solid option if you're up for a DIY challenge.
Recently purchased this fantastic product for my Porsche 911. I found it easy to apply and if you don't rush it, it will give a smart finish and long lasting protection.
I will certainly use DIY PPF again.
I’ve used DIY PPF for my 991 GT3. Great quality product, I was able to fit it easily following the guidance given. The website was easy to use and the customer service spot on. Thanks DIY PPF
Took a punt as I was tired of being charged a fortune and never being happy for others doing my ppf….kit came, all good for front end of my Porsche. With a little work fitted like glover. Pretty happy with the results.
Ordered full DIY PPF kit for my 718 GT4 - what can I say?
SIMPLY AMAZING service from the DIY PPF team, The instructions were very clear and the kit is perfect.
I will be ordering again for my other cars and can’t recommend enough.
This is my 2nd time using DIYPPF and it was just as painless and straightforward as the 1st. I used the videos provided online whilst fitting the kit to make sure I was doing it correctly and they are a massive help! The guys are always happy to help wherever they can and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend
Amazed at how simple this kit was to fit
Really good quality product and after testing a piece and watching the video found it easy to fit
Everything I needed came with the kit. The one thing that didn’t come was patience which you really need when you first start but now the full front of my 911 is covered
Had a couple of issues which by rewatching the videos I worked out what I had done
Looks perfect and it’s definitely going to protect the front of my car
Would do it again. Highly recommended but don’t forget to be patient
A really good experience from start to finish.
The website makes it easy to order, then the product is well packaged with a good amount of the Slip solution and two bottles.
I was a complete novice, however, the instructional videos made the installation process relatively simple.
Overall a great product, and great company to deal with.
Thanks!!
Such a great experience with DIY PPF, I never thought it would be so straight forward.
Will was very helpful with my questions and concerns ahead of purchase but really there was no need for me to be concerned. After getting the kit the video tutorials covered everything I needed to know.
The kit was easy to fit, instructions and tips meant I could get a near perfect finish - I will never get it as perfect as a professional but it still protects my car and you wouldn’t notice unless looking very close.
I will definitely be using them again to protect my cars in the future.
I purchased the Tesla Model 3 Front Cover package plus the full rocker and doors protection pieces.
I had assurances due to the refund guarantee advertised on their website and product pages.
I completed the online course in the DIYPPF Academy area before applying the ppf.
The pieces when attempting to fit are not exact fits. There is plenty of excess which makes it difficult to align. Then what they don't tell you is you need to use a knife on the majority of ppf to cut to size. Other PPF providers make sure the corners don't require folding for ease of use, but not DIY PPF. Which made the Tesla corners hood impossible to fold and forced me to cut it. As you can see the result is less than ideal. The towing eye cover was not cut out meaning I had to cut an impossible circle and now it looks horrible. No matter how much heat used or steamer the edges won't stick.
Then comes the wing mirror. It was not disclosed it doesn't cover the whole mirror and only a portion of it.
When asked for a refund in accordance with the refund terms and conditions advertised on their website, Will said we don't offer refunds anymore. Even though their website advertising says different. I've now seen they've taken the refund guarantee off the product page after my purchase. This is an act of deceit by deceiving the customer with false assurances using fraudulent marketing tactics. I'm now left with no other choice but to take them to court using the screenshots and evidence collected. I really hope others don't make the same mistake as me by trusting their business integrity as they have deceived me.
