DIVVY Homes is the WORST, and an UNSAFE experience that I have dealt with. The rental permit wasn't addressed for months. The electrical burning smell was NOT addressed; all with phone and EMAIL notifications, which were acknowledged, but no intervention occurred. DIVVY employees are the poorest communicators in ANY professional organization that I have EVER dealt with. Their assurances are empty promises.

My experience with you was not the greatest. It took to long to get in touch with someone when there was a problem. Then when I did get in touch with someone it was always an excuse on getting the problem fixed or you say we don't deal with that kind of issue.

Our realtor was really amazing. Helped us get everything we were looking for to find the perfect home for our situation.

My agent was excellent and very patient with me. She walked me the everything and she made sure I understood the process. DIVVY was also very good. They gave me a second chance to find a home when I did not know where to turn. All in all I am very grateful

This is our first home. The agent who helped to process the paperwork was so helpful and informative. And the consequent teams that reached out to aid in the closing process were very respondent as issues in closing details, dates, and other information came through and would need our response. A couple hiccups happened here and there with the Home Evaluation findings and steps for paying fees but we were very satisfied with the process. And we are enjoying our home. Thanks Divvy Team

The purchase process was great, The inspector missed some major problems and in the past 3 months they have not been resolved. The contractors that they have retained, most don't show up to the appointments, but a few were pretty good about keeping to their word. I am still waiting to be able to use the house fully. It's taking some time.

Ooof- where to begin?
I truly rarely write negative reviews for companies, I have a high tolerance for mistakes and tend to give the benefit of the doubt. But our experience with Divvy has been just awful from start to finish.
I am a top producing Realtor in a major metro area. My friend from college called up- his family is living in a Divvy home and they were approved to move to another home within the program.
I set to work helping them find a new home. Divvy made the process literally an IMPOSSIBLE task. With the "shifting market" I don't think they WANT to buy any homes. Their criteria standards were completely unreasonable, they would disqualify every possibility after my clients got excited about it, because of something ridiculous, and not even entertain the possibility of fixing it or having sellers address it.
They want only the "best quality homes", yet had us working with a very low budget. It was totally confusing trying to figure out which homes actually worked with their "calculator". Then.. they would only offer 10-20% below asking on any home you might miraculously manage to find. This is not something that works here- we are still experiencing a severe inventory shortage, seeing multiple offers at times, and homes are receiving a solid 94% of asking across the board.
Divvy's communication was so bad to the point of being comical...no one had ANY idea what anyone else was doing or telling us. None of the information matched. You never spoke to the same person twice, and got to start over anew with each person who had no idea of the history.
We finally got down to our LAST 2 options for homes in the area. I spent hours collecting information to frontload to Divvy, so that we knew BEFORE we went to see them whether they would qualify for criteria an whether they met the calculator budget numbers.
Of course.. my clients got their heart set on one, only to find out after seeing them that they didn't even come close to qualifying for the needed amount to make an offer.
I could go on.. and on.. and ON. We politely and clearly expressed our issues at every step of the process, and no one took any meaningful action to address any of it.
My poor clients are so disheartened that they are leaving Divvy and plan to lease for a while and shore up their finances to go the conventional qualifying route, even though they are forfeiting money to do so.
I really wanted Divvy to be a useful tool that I could offer to clients going forward. However, I am now bent on making sure that EVERYONE in the Real estate sphere knows to stay far, far away from this utter hot mess of a company.

My experience with divvy has been ok. We started our journey with divvy back in September 2022.a They paired me with a really good realtor. But my dislike is that there were homes that i put in for that they low balled the heck out of. There was one house i tried for that was selling for $120k but the gave an offer of $100k. The seller decided to walk away because divvy wouldn't move from that figure. The other thing divvy has going on is communication. I like to text but not all the time especially on important business matters. I would call but they perfer text. I understand that its busy from time to time but on some things you just need someone to verbally explain and break stuff down that cant fix in a text. Lastly the portal system used online needs an update of some sort. There were times i couldn't view documents due to constant errors or mysterious payments coming up on my side of the system saying it needz to be paid but not on their side. Also the inspector for my house is like a beast at his job. Which can be good but not all the time. I talked with the seller of our new home and the things this man did i would be writing about here all day. Overall divvy may have its issues but so far it is a good company trying to do things to help people.
