bad design, bad service

If you like your time wasted, go to Diversity Travel (DGI). A single search can crash the whole website.
I received confirmation from them and soon received another confirmation saying that the previous confirmation was cancelled.
Cannot believe this is a service existing in the year of 2026.

Terrible

Repeating other's experience: buggy website with problematic frontend, extremely slow support.
I regret that our uni FORCES us to use this piece of code.

Their online system is outdated

Their online system is outdated, slow and confusing.
Their support is just good enough to correct their own errors.
What you won't get back is the time they wasted.
I expect they will by out of business soon so go to someone with a better rating and save that time for your kids, hobbies and profits instead on having these guys steal it.

Absolutely abhorrent and redundant…

Absolutely abhorrent and redundant service. Diversity travel only complicates travels that I make for my work, it costs much more than booking outside of the service and customer support is way too slow (more than 30 minutes in line for calls, and weeks to respond to mails). The company feels like it is mostly in the game to profit from public tender rules: cutting themselves large margins, while providing as limited service as possible.

Do not use DGI travel

I do not understand why any organisation would engage DGI travel to provide services. I have used them multiple times because i’ve had to. The flights are more expensive than booking with an airline directly, their platform is not user friendly at all and is extremely slow, and it takes several hours if not a day to get a response from their team - with or without a crisis situation where you require emergency travel. If you can avoid using them - do!!! Absolutely no value-add in using their service if you can book with providers directly - in fact you’ll have more protections and more efficient ability to rearrange travel or cancellations if you book directly with the airline. DGI are not worth the time or the money.

As useful as a cube for ball bearing

I would have better luck booking a hotel by smashing my head against the keyboard repeatedly until I randomly opened a web browser and managed to smash the right location, hotel, and card information in.

Seriously, if you are a company looking to invest in a travel agent, this ain't it. The user interface cost your employees time, the redundancies cost patience, and the options available through this company are nearly double or sometimes even triple the cost of what I could find on my own. The agents are nice, but also about as competent in navigating the site as your average person - carrying not expertise or ability to solve your issues. Over all paying for a time and energy costly process to offset what could be a five minute task on your own makes no sense, so I would not recommend this service.

Worst user experience EVER

OMG! It really takes an effort to be this BAD! It is incredibly frustrating on every level. The website takes forever to load and freezes all the time, when you think you have it, it freezes and you have to start over again. The quotes and bestelbon system works very poorly, with lots of problems all the time. The flight offer is very scarce and more expensive that in other platforms...everything is bad, nothing works and I HATE that I am forced to use it at my university. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

Terrible travel agency

Repeated errors in the booking system, and incompetent staff who repeatedly fail to correctly book fares and do not deal wth complaints in a timely fashion.

Terrible

Terrible, terrible and once more Terrible. So many errors and issues in the booking system. Booking a journey without them takes you max 20 minutes, booking a journey with DGI takes up to 6 hours and countless of waiting while then hearing later that your quote got expired. Also way more expensive than booking without DGI.

Worst website ever

The online platform is terrible. I have never been able to book without having to call the team. There are always glitches and problems and it takes an age to load or save anything. In addition the prices are considerably higher than those you get online - especially the "humanitarian" rates which are meant to be for charitable organizations.

If there had been a zero star option

If there had been a zero star option, I would have awarded this. Online booking tool is totally useless; quirky and in many cases does not work at all with no explanation given to why bookings are failing, somethimes bookings appear to have been confirmed but actually they haven't - surprise! Booking using a DGI agent rather than online results in crazily inflated prices, it's a lose lose option for clients. Avoid at all costs. Expensive, unreliable, frustrating.

Never ending collection of bugs

The website is too buggy to be reliable. Whenever I use it there is a new bug to fight against. This time it is impossible to book a plane ticket because the fare expires in seconds, not enough time to fill the passangers details.

Useless

Useless
I have to use this company for travel expenses, or pay myself and claim back.
I give them a try every now and again but the site is useless. Support is too hard to find, or completely non-responsive (try the chat).
So I'll go back to pay and reclaim which I can afford to do but many of my colleagues will struggle with.

The worst user experience I have ever had

By far the most awful digital user experience I've had from a professional company in my life. There are so many things wrong with the website I could write a novel about it.

Clearly the people who work here aren't attentive, and don't understand the needs of their customers, or haven't even tested the website. It takes me hours and hours sometimes to get things booked. Things break. The website crashes. Form fields don't work. The UX is clunky, doesn't work on mobiles. It's just fantastically frustrating.

I absolutely deplore it.

£40 for a £19 breakfast

I have to use diversity travel as I book through my company. Even though the company are paying I do not want to rip them off.
I went to book a hotel room with breakfast. I could not believe the cost. The room without breakfast was £40 a day cheaper. I contacted the Hotel and their breakfasts are £19. I contacted diversity travel and they said it is agreed by our company to cover admin. No offer to look into it, no offer to try and get a better price just that's what we charge. £21 a day to click a box that says breakfast!!! A total rip off and so unfair to companies. I have booked without breakfast and I will pay the £19 a day for my breakfast.

What a nightmare

This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had trying to book a trip. The website freezes at random intervals; every time I select a plane ticket and I try to "Proceed" , it throws an error. I have contacted the support team and they simply tell me to re-start the process again. I've spent almost 2 hours trying to book a single trip with just flight and hotel, and having to re-start each time due to errors. What a nightmare

Useless

Until recently we had a contract with Key Travel, who were useless, but after a retendering we have one with Diversity. I’ve just been told that BA don’t have an economy plus fare (they do) and been quoted a fare for a flight at £162 in economy that is €95 in economy basic, €120 in economy plus, and €179 in business on BA website. How do these big travel agents get away with it?
