We did a Samarkand to Seven Lakes same-day tour today. Everything went perfectly. The driver on Uzbek side was on time and courteous. The guide on the Tajik side was excellent. He was informative but not overly talkative. He drove very safely too. We had a wonderful day enjoying the beautiful Seven Lakes. Truly a tour of a lifetime!

We organised a private day tour for the seven lakes in Tajikistan with Discoverystan. Driver picked up up promptly and took us to the border. Easy crossing took 30mins. Boba our guide was waiting for us with sign in hand. His English was excellent and knowledge of the area was great. Very safe driving over some rough terrain. This was an amazing day and we loved it - highly recommend Discoverystan. Also we left a camera in the car in Tajikistan 😢 immediately they organized it to come through the border with another group, our driver picked it up and delivered to us within an hour - exceptional service 5 ⭐

A truly wonderful day exploring the Seven Lakes. Our guide and driver, Afred, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and always on hand to answer any questions we had. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Discoverystan again.

We took Seven lakes trip, Tajikistan with Discoverystan. We are from India. Approach is very professional. In fact when our Visa got delayed, they even adjusted our trip. Hassle free co ordination. Strongly recommended.

I totally enjoyed the nature and life in Tajikistan with a nice guide!
I was in the group of 4 Japanese girls and went to Iskanderkul lake and stayed at Sarytog village. The nature was amazingly beautiful and we experienced the real life there! That was thanks to Oriz, our tour guide. He is very nice, fun and thoughtful person and we really appreciate him.
Thank you for everything and I’d love to come back to Tajikistan someday.

So much fun exploring Dunshabe and the Hissar Fortress this trip was so well planned in terms of efficiency and accommodating my goals and objectives it was the perfect way to see the highlights of Dunshabe and to sneak out of town for a bit to see the Hissar Fortress....great tour organized by a great guide Oriz who was so kind and accommodating I'll never forget this wonderful day.

Arrange trip on very short notice. Although many roads were closed due to summit but their driver able to find the way and pick me from the hotel.

This trip was once in a lifetime! I was able to see so many gems in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan! My guide had a vast amount of knowledge of Central Asia. He had great recommendations, all the historical background and was a great tour guide in general. He made my trip unforgettable allowing me to see the true local experience! I always felt safe, looked after and was treated like family. Highly recommend traveling with Discoverystan as they took care of all my needs and were attentive to my requests!

Oriz was my guide for the Pamir in Tadjikistan (GBAO). We did Ishkashim (and its Afghan Market, Buddhist Stupa, two Zoroastrian fortresses, hotsprings), Murghab and Langar. He is such a cool, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, funny and kind person, always anticipating everything and getting you in the know. I cannot recommend him enough, he was amazing :) !
