This was a difficult thing for me to do, as in, go for an assessment of ADHD at 67. They were very professional, thoughtful, kind, mindful of my individual needs. The process, although stressful for me was handled very well, spread out over 3 sessions. The final report was very informative. Can not thank them enough.

I decided to approach Discover Difference for an ADHD assessment for my teenage son who has struggled for some time. Having seen a number of negative stories about ADHD assessments in the media I wanted to make sure that the people we chose would be thorough and genuine. We were not searching for a diagnosis as much as we were wanting to know honestly what might be going on and to better understand.

I am so glad that we chose Discover Difference and found them to be helpful, approachable, prompt, reassuring and professional through every single communication and interaction. I had specifically wanted to find someone to complete the assessment that would see my son for the individual that he is, rather than some of the larger companies I had seen where I feared my son could be at risk of being seen as 'just a number' in a large corporate machine. Sophie and her team did everything they could to make the process as easy as possible, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

The comprehensive report that we received was so helpful in pulling together and summarising all that we had discussed and information from other sources. It also included some really helpful information that altogether I am hopeful will go a long way to improving things ten fold for my son.

Discover Difference have been a huge help to me, I'm so glad I went with them for my ADHD/Autism assessment and diagnosis. All the people I have been in contact with over the past month have been lovely, all very understanding and kind which is something I was worried about, as the whole experience has been quite overwhelming. I decided to go with Discover Difference for an Autism Assesment for my son.
From the start of enquiring about the price to the end of recieving the result was just a brilliant experience.
I had Jasmine who was so calm and polite and understanding. She ensured that i was comfrotable at all rounds.
I even had a phone call from Sophie to see if I was ok for the second stage as i hadnt responded to an email sent by them (was just busy and organising myself before i sat down for the longest meeting).

I've been struggling for quite some time to get an assessment, due to personnal situation.

So far, I've had only the initial rendez-vous, but despite the short amount of our various exchanges, (be them via zoom or e-mail) I can positively say I have always been met with kind and patient responses in every steps.

The doctors I had made sure that I feel at ease voicing my concerns, my fears, my questions, and have an exceptionnal eye to discern signs, problems and hurdles alike.
I appreciate their honesty.

I am gratefull that our path crossed and I'm looking forward to pursue this assessment with these wonderfull persons and their humane values.

I Found that it was a brilliant service. Everyone was very helpful, kind and understanding. I found doctor Stevens very pleasant and easy to work with.

I wanted to say a big 'Thank You' for making Thursday's session as comfortable as possible! I had been really nervous and tearful beforehand but you put me at ease straight away and carefully encouraged throughout. It was a useful session to be able to say some things out loud for the first time and realise that there was 'some other' thing actually going on underneath!

The assessment process felt collaborative and my experiences were listened to in warm and compassionate way. It was also affirming and validating.
And of important - the diagnostic assessment processes closely followed gold standard methods which ensured all possible competing hypotheses were taken into account.

I have just received my report following my assessments, and whilst initially being a bit unsure because of there being very little information or reviews online about Discover Difference, I am so glad I went ahead. Sophie and Katy were more than happy to answer any questions I had about them, their background and the reasons for the little online visibility; they are very experienced professionals but have recently decided to operate their own business rather than do this role for someone else's business. This in my opinion is invaluable given the wait times on the NHS and even with other private services that offer adult assessments, particularly combined ADHD and Autism assessments (both assessments are available on their own). Sophie and Katy have been supportive, responsive, and kind throughout the entire process, and I do not hesitate in recommending them.
