Waste of money
Waste of money! I never used having it nearly tow years. Teachers don't have time to click, copy, copy again the codes to discover that discount has expired or it has some other conditions. I tried three times and couldn't bare it. Not extending the "deal" ever again.

Quick and Professional Response to an Enquiry
Quick initial response from Sophie to a discount enquiry outlining a known issue stopping the discount being offered. Sophie advised a further update would be provided one the issue was resolved. I was not disappointed when that update arrived just a few hours later advising the discount I enquired about was now available again. Great customer service from Sophie and a good outcome for myself and others using the discount in question.

Disappointed with the fake discounts
I’m very disappointed with the fake deals they have on the website. I paid £21.61 for an adult and child odeon ticket. Then I had to pay a further £16 on the Odeon website which totalled to £37.61. If I purchased the tickets directly on the Odeon website as a package deal (1 adult+1 child ticket), it would’ve cost me £32, so I actually paid more with their fake savings

The reason I have highlighted reviews low are they are the greatest deceptive untruthful and lead people on and make them complete fools using their information privately and confidential and making excuses and avoiding contact and the list goes on and on and on simple answer if you don't want your life and emotions to be messed or played with then avoid if you want them to abuse your position your respect and your honour you can join them no further comment end period.

Misleading “Free” Offer – Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service
I signed up for the ODE Cashback Card through the Discounts for Teachers website, which advertises the card as free. However, this turned out to be completely misleading.
During the sign-up process, I was hit with multiple hidden charges that were not made clear upfront:
£4.99 delivery fee for the physical card
£5 minimum top-up required just to activate the card
Then, after signing up, they claimed there was a problem processing my application and demanded an extra £5 “verification” fee for proof of ID and address.
And there's an annual fee of £2.99 after 1st year
Altogether, what was promoted as a “free cashback card” quickly turned into a series of unexpected charges. To make things worse, customer service was poor and unhelpful, offering no clear explanation or accountability.
I feel this is false advertising and dishonest practice, and I’ve requested a full refund and cancellation. Others should be aware before signing up — the ODE Cashback Card is not free, and the experience so far has been frustrating, misleading, and disappointing

The ode card is an additional add-on to our free Discounts for Teachers membership, this does come with additional charges to access, with postage to ship your new card and a £2.99 annual fee, which is waived for the first year. The top-up is yours to access and is loaded onto your card for you to spend immediately.
You can cancel your ode card at any time within the first year if you don't want to renew for a second year and won't be charged the fee.
Our main discount scheme remains free to access and always will be, and as always, there is no obligation to take out the cashback card. Our members are finding they are saving over £200 extra each year with additional savings across supermarkets and high street stores.

Just to clarify, the ode card is an optional upgrade to our free Discounts for Teachers membership. It does come with a small cost to cover postage and an annual £2.99 fee, though that fee is completely waived for your first year. Any top-up you add is yours to spend straight away.
You’re free to cancel the ode card within the first year if you decide not to continue, and you won’t be charged for the following year.
Our core discount service is, and will always remain, completely free to use. There’s absolutely no requirement to opt in to the cashback card, but many of our members benefit from using this alongside our discounts.

The site and its discounts aren't bad, but they are now heavily pushing the ODE cashback card which is supposed to be "completely free" to sign up for. However, when I applied through the DfT site ODE wanted to charge me an initial £4.99 'delivery and fulfillment fee', so I didn't bother. This hidden fee feels deceptive.

The discount code I downloaded would not work on the store website. I queued for 20 mins on the store website who eventually agreed that it should have worked, but could not help me further. They suggested I contact DFT but there was no obvious way to do so. A complete waste of time and very frustrating.
