Criminals, theft, unauthorized charges

Criminals, unauthorized charges for decades on sports package we never requested or authorized at $14.99/month. Fraudulent company. Total theft. My wife never noticed it on the invoice. They refuse to do anything about it. Avoid Directv.

I use Dirct tv stream. I have a problem none of shows ibrecord will delete. When you updated it they deleted, when the older version came back the problem was worse.

DIRECTV does not give good customer…

DIRECTV does not give good customer service. I asked to cancel my service today after on the weekend that Sunday I get my equipment and now they want me to take my time out to deliver it back to them when I asked them not to deliver it and was told they wasn't gonna deliver it. I'm very disappointed and it's called elderly abuse

*** Website Review - FIX YOUR WEBSITE. Your links do not work on Safari. It does not give me a lot of confidence in using your app to watch TV if you can't even code a simple website. You lost a potential customer because of an HTML coding error. Incredible!

*"Sell all genre packs" link reloads the same page you are already on. How does a company of this size miss something that simple?

PS - I love your commercials though. I would save some of that money though and hire some more engineers that can code. Looks like you need it.

I had a DVR issue where it kept…

I had a DVR issue where it kept freezing up when I went to watch a show for about a week it did this and when i would reset the Gemini it would work. I got tired of doing that all week long so tech support (I use those workds very loosely) had me restert the GENIE server..once it booted back up my recordings were gone, my favs gone my future recordings gone. so basically they made it worse, and whats worse is the person I was chatting with was as much of a tech suppory person as I am. Like I could do what she did. which was not pay attention to me, repeat herself, and basically ruin my day. I hate this company with a passion. I only have because my mon likes it, but it is no longer worth it. Below is the entirey of the chat, and its so bad I yes i lost my temper a bit. I wish I had not signed a contract with these people or at the very least done streaming with no contract..Friggin nonsense. This dumb sumb thought the recording would just magically show back up. shE WANTED A PICTURE OF THE CURRENT SCREEN WHEN i PUSH LIST..i SAID ITS EMPTY WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SEE. Im done. If they let me out of the contract or not I am done. They can come take the contract fee I dont care

Read these one star reviews for Direct TV.
Very bad company, bad services, bad support, deceiving contracts. Not worth to raise your blood pressure; don't even go there. The question is, when will they go down the toilet where they belong?

Bad services and non existent support

Bad services and non existent support. They also lock you in contract and charge $20 per month for the duration of contract. They will lie on a phone you are not in contract.... When you start experiencing problems switching between channels (streaming Direct TV), you will spent hours on a phone and most likely just get dropped or have them blame your internet (even though you don't have any problem with internet). Don't waste time arguing with loyalty department about not charging you early cancellation fee; they will. And after reading all these one star reviews, I wouldn't waste my time calling them trying to reason.

This company is a rip off. They don't care about customers once they get you suckered into their contract! Run and don't look back. This is something our government should address! Absolutely astonishing how they can keep upping prices and no good deals for existing customers.

Great service

There are two reasons that I gave Direct TV a high rating. First off, when I had a recent problem, I called and I did not have to wait. The caller was very helpful and was very confident that he could help me which he did. The second and even more important was the person they sent out to fix my problem, Doug. I live in Lancaster County (PA) and Doug came out to fix my problem and even made a great suggestion which I took him up on. It was at the end of the day and he was tired because he had to take on some extra jobs but he was very pleasant, fixed my problem and also added some great advice. I couldn't have gotten anyone any better than him. I was very glad that he was the one to help me out. He rates a 10 out of 10 with he.

DTv are a nickel and dime company

DTv are a nickel and dime company. Every year they up their prices $5 to $7 for no reason and they don't tell you about it until you see your bill. I plan to switch soon to fiber optics as soon as the new company finish installing the cables in our neighborhood, if not then I'll switch to Dish_Network.

DirecTV is TERRIBLE!!!!!!

DirecTV is TERRIBLE!!!!!!! I record and watch sporting events on DirecTV. I can’t count the number of events I have recorded and am watching the replay when it is going down to the last minute or the last shot when the recording runs out and I miss the ending, even though “Auto extend” is on. This happened again tonight, and I’m fed up with this!! I have called into customer support and they have told me there is a “bug” that they are unable to fix where inexplicably for some users auto extend simply doesn’t work and they can’t figure it out.

This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

How incompetent can a service be????

DO NOT USE this service!!!!! Use YouTubeTV, Fubo or any number of other services that are far superior and don’t suffer from the most basic service issues!

DirecTV is PATHETIC!!!!!!

if I could give them 0 rating I would we sign up April 8th 2025 was told by the lady my next bill would be May 9th. On the 14th of April service was discontinued called and was told we must pay in advance. After we paid for firesticks never heard of cable company you pay three day after start o service.sent the firesticks back and cancel my subscription never again scammers

Directv has lost a customer for life

Over a year ago I canceled Directv. I paid the final bill and even called them to make sure everything was paid. On June 1, 2024, I received a statement with a zero balance. Now Directv is telling me that I owe $440.00 for breaking a contract. How can I break a contract if I never agreed to another contract? I am disputing the claim. Directv should be ashamed of themselves. But one thing I know for sure is I will never be a Directv customer again!

DirecTV's billing is fraudulent

DirecTV's billing is fraudulent. They tell one thing over the phone but when prepare the bill it is something totally different. I've had various conversations with agents, keeping good notes for each conversation, and they change the bill like they said they would even when they were wrong. I am not trying to log in to DirecTV.com and keep getting an error message. It's as if they keep putting up roadblocks hoping the consumer just gives up and pays the bill, even if it's wrong.
