Barry at direct removals was fantastic. Great communication, friendly and welcoming approach. I can in to buy boxes. He Helped me with supplying me with boxes for my move. Great customer service. Would highly recommend.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star!!

This is the worst removal company I have ever experienced! The move took hours longer than quoted, the movers needed assistance and they were refused help by the management. I phoned the company who were rude, unprofessional and basically told me it's not their problem that I have to pay £35 per hour I am waiting, it's not their problem that my 1 year old child is waiting to get into her warm home whilst suffering with whooping cough and they don't care about the reviews we submit as again it's not there problem. I will be contacting the Dorset Echo and Citizens advice to make sure they never treat people this poor again!!

AVOID!!

Awful service and poor communications.
Swore in front of my young children.
Witnessed them dropping item but they never reported anything being dropped.
Did not listen to basic instructions, putting items in random rooms, walking mud throughout the house after being requested to put down a floor covering (which they had but refused to use).
Quoted for either an 18 tonne lorry or a 7.5 & 3.5 tonne lorries but only used one 7.5 tonne lorry and no reduction in price.
I gave them opportunities to discuss the above but were completely non responsive to all communications.

Lots of promises, none delivered! Moved us to France, No contact to tell us they had received payment, what sailing, when to expect delivery, etc. I had to do all the chasing. When they did arrive, they were in a rush, hadn't left enough time to properly unload and return to ferry port. They had to go down road to turn vehicle around, chose a patch of grass, got stuck, then used MY garden furniture under lorry for grip, broke it - surprisingly 18 ton wagon, no apology, sent photo's - no comment. The more we unpack the more damage we find, computer & printer packed together but no packing, all scratched. Bunch of cowboys, paid a lot of money for a service never received.
